What a great experience! Bought as a voucher for my birthday and took my mum, we had a super time. Amy gave us lots of info about the different ‘notes’. We really enjoyed smelling them all and rating them before getting creative in mixing the scents to create our own signature perfume. Would highly recommend for a girly day or for hen-do / birthday celebrations. Would love to go again! The added package of afternoon tea extended the experience nicely.

I treated my daughter to this experience for her birthday and we had a great time.
Best thing was coming away with our wonderful and unique perfumes. For just £10 each extra we made a suitable fragrance for the men in our lives aswell. It was fun, informative and good value.
Kat, who led the event was lovely, very knowledgeable and helpful throughout. I would highly recommend.

The event was held in a beautiful hotel and I had a great experience. However, the number of attendees meant I didn’t get the personal touch I was hoping for. There was no onsite parking so I would have given it five stars otherwise.

Very interesting, fun and worth the money. The hosts had good knowledge of the industry and making perfume but still kept the atmosphere light and fun. The perfume is good quality and you get to choose bottle colour and name your perfume. It is put on website so you can rebuy or other people can purchase it .
Would recommend and it’s an experience you can do again so we will be rebooking.

I just finished the session with Amy in Manchester, and I’ve got to say it was fantastic.

Amy is incredibly knowledgeable about perfumery and aroma ingredients, and she makes the whole experience super fun and interactive. She’s great at guiding everyone towards creating their perfect scent. You could really tell people were having a good time; everyone left happy and proud of what they’d made.

A great way to learn the basics of making a perfume. Carolyn and Clare were both very welcoming and explained each step in good detail. It was good fun smelling the different notes and putting them together to creat a fragrance, which you were able to take home after the experience.

This was an experience for the whole family and everyone came away satisfied with a product they wanted with a few upgrades to the initial offering.
So each experience has offers for differing volumes of perfume made for your creation. The base level is 5ml, then 20ml or 30ml, the latter two in an atomiser.
The experience starts with a little background to the process of going through 24 different scents, created as simple combinations, by their master perfumer contact. The experience itself starts by smelling and choosing base notes. Our guide, Helen, gave good instruction on how to enhance or lessen desired notes. This continues through base, middle and top notes with time to finalise your creation and transfer to the recipe page. When submitted this was transformed into the fragrance by Helen using the assigned bottles. Exactly as promised and a great experience.

Absolutely loved it. Best of both worlds, you got the knowledge but not too much knowledge and you got to smell all blends but not too many where it too ages.

Would defiantly do again

I bought this experience as a birthday gift for my sister. We both really enjoyed smelling the different varieties of scents and mixing and matching the smells till we found our own favourites to put together and name. The girls hosting were extremely friendly and approachable. Some constructive criticism would be that I felt it was maybe rushed a little as we were getting one scent stick after another quite quickly and it was getting slightly confusing. Nevertheless, both my sister and I enjoyed ourselves and love our scents!

I feel bad giving 4 stars but we do have 1 big issue about the day, it was booked from 11-1 and it was so rushed, an extra hour would make it much less rushed & a nicer experience because Carolyn only had 2 hours to get through her spiel, it felt very regimented & we couldn’t ask questions without being told “can I just get through this bit” or “I’ve got a lot to get through” we also didn’t stop for a beverage which again would of made the experience so much nicer (baring in mind most of these experiences were a Christmas or birthday present) I feel the ladies & gentlemen that were there would of appreciated a drink in between & time to chat, after the experience we managed to engage with the other tables & it was so nice & chilled (but this wasn’t within the “experience”) if you could offer an extra hour & it be more chilled & not as regimented it would be 5 stars (I also would imagine this is the sort of thing someone would book for a hen party & it would be flat as a pancake with how regimented it was & not being able to laugh & chat) because other than above mentioned the actual experience of making your own scent, the ingredients, the information, all of that was brilliant & we all came home with a scent of our own which we absolutely love

This was a gift, and I chose the perfume experience as I love Essential oils, The Perfume Studio does not test on Animals which is always lovely to hear.
The girls were so nice and knowledgeable and I made my own scent with a name I created!

I really enjoyed exploring the different scents and learning about how to pair them. The experience itself was lovely, though I would have preferred a bit less focus on product sales and upselling, as it sometimes felt more like a sales pitch than an immersive experience

My friend and I spent a morning with this company to make our own perfume. The perfume making experience and the product at the end was lovely and such a super idea as a gift.
The room the experience was held in was slightly too small for the number of people attending and we did feel a little cramped in two long runs of tables.
The added touch of prosecco or orange juice before the event began was a nice touch.
The lady who ran it was extremely knowledgeable and the info on what makes up a fragrance was interesting. Overall a great experience with a lovely gift at the end of the day!

I had a lovely time, the perfumers were very knowledgeable and we were given an incredible range to try. What a fun experience.

Fabulous experience. I did this with my future daughter in law to create her wedding perfume. Very special for both of us. Would 100% recommend.
