I was given this experience as a birthday present and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best presents I have received. We were greeted on arrival by the Perfume Sudio team & had a Bucks Fizz type of drink. There were 3 large tables accommodating 30 people in a pleasant comfortable room. We spent the first hour sampling 25 different elements of fragrance - base notes, middle notes & top notes which we had to rate as like,dislike and neutral. We revisited them to check our reactions after each fragrance element had "settled". At our own pace we then had to assemble the elements we liked the most to develop our bespoke eau de parfum which was then made up for us. The experience lasted around 2 hours (11.30am to 1pm) and I attended with a friend who I had bought an experience for as a birthday present. We had a great time & I intend to treat another friend to a perfume experience for her birthday next month. Thank you Perfume Studio for a memorable morning . I love my atomiser of "Stardust" which is what I named my creation.

The perfume workshop was really interesting and fun. We had a great afternoon. The facilitators were excellent, friendly, fun and very knowledgeable helping you create your perfect scent. Would definitely recommend.

I had such a lovely time at The Perfume Studio! The team were really friendly and knowledgeable, making the whole perfume-making process fun and easy. Plus, you get a glass of prosecco to enjoy while you create your own unique scent. It’s such a lovely way to treat yourself or someone special, I’d definitely recommend it!

What a brilliant experience!

I booked the perfume-making workshop for my daughter's 16th birthday, and it was the perfect gift. The workshop, held at the Clayton Hotel, was in a lovely and clean space.

The hosts from The Perfume Studio were so knowledgeable and entertaining, with a fantastic sense of humour that made the whole event engaging and fun.

We not only had an amazing time creating our own unique fragrances but also learned a lot about the world of perfume, which was very interesting. Highly recommend this for a special occasion!

My friend and I really enjoyed the Perfume experience. It was a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Everything was very well organised, we learnt lots about perfume and enjoyed creating our own fragrance. Mark, our host, was very knowledgeable. We would recommend it.

It was a very organised experience. I would definitely do it again. I did it with my daughter and it was a lovely bonding experience. The location was in Dorking on a golf grounds. The staff were pleasant. The fact that you can get your unique fragrance again is perfect as I absolutely love mine. They serve you Prosecco, orange juice, tea or coffee which was quite cute.
I would definitely recommend it as a gift for someone or if you wanna do something with a hen party as part of your hen activities.

A wonderful experience of making my favourite perfume by far. I love that I can order more of my design too! Quality ingredients. Great training. Friendly team. A fun experience on your own or with friends. The men seemed very engaged on the day. Suitable for all ages. My friend and I had the cream tea after. Well worth it. Dawn who hosted, managed everything exceptionally as did her support staff. You have to experience it to really understand how wonderful it is to create something that is uniquely you. Thank you. I’ll be back as I was always a wannabe perfume maker. This is one way I can achieve that. Maybe in my next life!

Spent a very enjoyable afternoon at the Perfume Studio. It was very interesting and educational I learnt a lot in a fun way. I went on my own and even though everyone at my table were very friendly, I think it would be much more fun going with a friend or with a group.

The whole experience was an absolute delight.
Thank you to the ladies who ran our Fragrance Design Experience on 19th July in Exeter. They were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, fun and helpful and the set up at the hotel was incredibly slick. We felt really looked after and not at all rushed to design our own perfume. I would highly recommend - this would be great for a hen do or group of girls. You end up designing a scent you wouldn't normally go for and surprising yourself.

Me and my Mum spent a fabulous time at the Perfume Making Workshop. Helen was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining everything needed to make a fabulous scent. We both come away smelling lovely, with our perfume in a fabulous atomiser.

I got this as a gift for my birthday and wasn't sure what to expect but it was such a great experience. Going through the scents and designing my own was great fun. I would definitely recommend.

Great experience - very informative
There wasn’t a hard sell as described in other reviews .. just the option the upgrade or buy extras at a discounted rate.
Essentially you are reviewing pre-mixed blends and then choosing which work together for your own unique perfume.
I really enjoyed it - went on my own as did a few others. Really nice group of people and I’d definitely go again.

Really friendly and welcoming and made sure single guests sat together. Expert knowledge which was explained simply and entertainingly. Would recommend this for anyone needing a present for a friend or just a treat for yourself. I came away with a wonderful bespoke perfume and met some lovely people male and female
