I placed an order with Plantlife despite some mixed reviews and was initially cautious. I ordered their £5 under eye cream and a £5 sample pack of their four best-selling items. The delivery took about two weeks, and unfortunately, the sample pack never arrived—only the eye cream and two free items were included, which I was grateful for
I contacted customer service, and they responded promptly, offering me a refund or to resend the missing items. I opted for the refund, which was handled smoothly.
That said, I really like the products I did receive. The under eye cream is fantastic and definitely worth trying. It’s clear the company has potential, but they need to improve their order fulfillment process to avoid repeated mistakes. With some better logistics, Plantlife could be an amazing brand.
Good company and great prices
Customer service quick to respond
Think they need to up their game with delivery but given they are small I did wait a few extra days and give time to sort
Products too good to moan about
Only coming on here to leave a review after I seen their instagram story regarding some vile emails sent through for people literally waiting for a balm for their face or some form of skincare.....
Excellent company, amazing products, cheap, affordable, long wait for delivery? yes but its not anything you need urgent and its all made fresh, small businesses should be supported not shunned. Some people need to be held accountable for their actions. It's not right (regarding the emails they shown not the other reviewers who have had issues which I can see the company is taking onboard)
This company are truly awful. They accused you if things you haven't said at all. They take ages to send orders, then tell you you are disrespectful when you complain.
They also say you call them names when you haven't at all.
Even after all of this they still want to put me down in their answers.
The truth is I contacted this company after 14 days and no delivery. I was not rude in any way, and they replied telling me I was disrespectful. None of my emails were rude until the very end when I had had enough of their ridiculous superiority. My advice is... DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Avoid this company at all costs
I placed an order and waited far longer than expected, only to discover - after contacting them - that they hadn’t even shipped it. When it finally arrived, half of the items were missing.
I immediately emailed to explain, and they assured me a replacement would be sent. Weeks later, nothing has arrived. This is not how a professional company should operate. If they cannot handle the basics - shipping orders accurately and on time - they should not be in business at all.
I am deeply disappointed by the lack of care, communication, and responsibility. Customers deserve honesty and reliability, not excuses and delays. I’ve now escalated this to my bank for a dispute. Completely unacceptable from start to finish.

Really effective and affordable. People are leaving harsh reviews because they've waited longer than expected. This was the case but, like others have said, its a new small business! Other companies rip you off putting the same quality products in overpriced packaging? This stuff is great and you get decent sized products in honest packaging. Nothing not to like. Keep up the great work!

I placed my order on July 8th and my order still hasn't been shipped. I have now emailed them 3 times. I did receive a reply on July 25th apologising for the delay and that it would be looked into. Today is July 29th and my most recent email sent to them was yesterday. I will give them 2 more days to reply and at that point I will seek a full refund of my order. I understand that delays occur but this is not acceptable

Horrific.
This company isn't a scam, I did receive my order after sometime, but it was incorrect. I had a reasonably quick response from customer service offering me a refund or replacement. I opted for replacement. I received nothing, so I emailed them again and told me they'd give me a refund. Again, I never received the money. I chased this up and received not even a reply. It's a shame as I really love the products I did get, however won't order from here again.

I would normally not bother with Trustpilot, but the company has removed my honest 2 star review about one of their products on their website and I find this untrustworthy. I ordered items on the 1st July and needed to chase my order on 17th. When it arrived, one paid and one free item were missing. I received a refund of the missing item after writing yet again, however I missed out on the freebie. One cream I bought is in my opinion very different to the website product description and picture, which I mentioned in my review. I got an unsatisfactory reply, after which my review was removed from their website. The review was about the cream only, I gave them the benefit of the doubt regarding the shocking service they provided. So if you are taken in by how they only have 4 and 5 star reviews of their products, now you know why!

Great products but slow delivery. They do advise 1-5 working days, went slightly over but not a problem, they aren't essentials as such. A great little business and I hope they continue to thrive & not pay too much attention to reviews that soley express delays and free sample pots....(sample pots weren't great but as expected as they are free....samples...)
SCAM SCAM SCAM
I received 1 item out of 13 I paid £80 and got 1 small pot of what just looked like pimped up Vaseline
This “company “ seems to think that it’s MY responsibility to find where the rest of my products are through ten delivery company EVRI
I think we all know that’s not the case !!
By looking at others reviews I think we can all agree that this “COMPANY “ is a SCAM
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
SCAM SCAM SCAM
Did i say that it took 2 months to send it !!!

I am disappointed to see other people's poor experience with this company, it does seem to be concerning postage and packaging. I do hope this company gets this sorted as their products are actually really lovely and make my skin feel plump and smooth - I would hate for them to go out of business. I personally waited for a couple of weeks for my order which I didn't mind. The pots and labels were basic but the price is affordable and the actual products themselves are great.

I’ve ordered 3 times and given the benefit of the doubt with order delays and always give small businesses a chance. 2/3 of my orders have been missing items and replacements never showed up, delivery has taken close to a month, and packaging is really hit and miss with some being greasy and not even labeled.

I ordered my balm on the 18th of March. A few months later I emailed to say it didn't arrive and they just emailed me the order confirmation again. I still don't have it. I can't comment on their Instagram page. Total scam.

I have ordered from this company twice now, and both times Ive been impressed with the products that have been sent. The Natures Tox moisturiser has been a godsend for my facial skin, along with their Sea Emerald cleansing bar. I also purchased the Nirvana Balm for a stubborn patch of dry itchy skin that I had on my back, that no other moisturiser managed to clear. This worked a treat and the dry itchy scaly patch is no more. I think some of the reviews this company have received are unfair......at the end of the day, they have started out as a small business, and to attract new customers they offered lots of really good free gift incentives (which i took advantage of too), which ultimately left them overwhelmed with orders. They have acknowledged this, and are now in the process of re-locating to a bigger premises with more staff, and have limited the free gift incentives. This is all stated clearly on their website. I really hope their success continues, as they promote on their on website, their aim is to provide affordable natural skin care for all. Everyone makes mistakes, and this is a new business starting out so allowances should be made, but they have acknowledged the issues and are now in the process of rectifying them. I never usually take the time to write reviews, good or bad, but its taken me a long time to find affordable skincare that actually lives up to its claims, and I would like this company to stay in business for a long time! Thank you @theplantlife people......may your business prosper!!!

I have tried to give this company the benefit of the doubt over and over again, but I'm done giving them grace for being a small business. I always try out small businesses and give them my support where I can, but this is not one I would ever recommend. I placed my order on the 23rd of March, waited until the 4th of April to contact as I hadn't heard anything regarding my order. I received a response on the 7th of April, saying it hadn't been scanned in but they said they would get this done in 24 hours. My parcel then arrived on the 11th of April, missing the free samples (disappointed but not the end of the world) but also a full size item I paid for. I raised this with the same person at customer support, they asked if I wanted a replacement or refund, I chose replacement as this item is the entire reason I ordered. This was confirmed to be actioned asap on the 16th of April.
Moving along to the 7th of May, still nothing, so I email to ask about my replacement item and get told on the 9th of May I'll be "sent a refund now".
It has been another 13 days and I still have no refund, no replacement and no update.
This isn't right to do to your customers, this isn't how to run a business. I'm so disappointed and frustrated because all I wanted was to try out some new products from a small business and I've had the most frustrating experience. At this point just give me my money back and we can be done with it.

I'm not sure if this small company has bitten off more than it can chew in terms of the range of products it makes and it's ability to keep up with demand etc, but I hope they can sort it out as I actually really like some of the products.
My first order was very slow to come (they do say it takes longer as items are made fresh, however it took way longer than advertised). It arrived with one full price item missing and another item leaking, meaning the labels had come off everything. Labels are also poor quality and difficult to read. I did flag up the missing item with them, and they responded to quickly to see if I wanted a refund or a replacement. I asked for a replacement which never arrived, and on contacting them again they said they'd refund. They did start a refund on PayPal, which was then cancelled. When I contacted them they said they were having issues with Paypal, and I did eventually get my refund. In terms of the products, I actually really liked most of them. The retinol skin oil and Madame Mushroom moisturiser are great. I gave the company the benefit of the doubt and ordered a repeat of one of those items, and there were no issues with that order, although it did take quite a long time to come again. I don't think this is a scam company, I just think they are maybe trying to run before they can walk, and I hope they can sort it out as the products in my experience have been nice and very fairly priced.

Absolute scammers you will not get the free samples you are promised you will have to chase and chase your order. When you get it most of the items will be missing and they won't refund you. I stupidly gave them a second chance

absolutely awful company!!! I made an order on the 25th of March, nothing arrived and still I am fighting to get a refund, i was told it was shipped, then I was told a month later actually there was a problem with my order which I was told they have sent a refund and over two weeks later no refund has been received and now they are attempting to say it’s been delivered but will not give me the courier and tracking number which was apparently used, they have been stalling giving me back my refund and telling lie upon lie, very unreliable company and they have turned all comments off from Instagram for a reason!

Ordered from this company on 15th March. After a week or so I got an email saying the order was on it's way, Received a EVRI reference the same day. After checking the EVRI reference for over a week and the status stating "waiting for parcel" I emailed Plant Life and received an email from Emily stating it had been sent. I don't see how since there was no reference, no updates and no delivery confirmation. She said she would "send it again". It arrived a few days later. I'd paid for a 5 item mystery bundle, there were only 4 items, one of them had a broken seal and 2 free gifts that were given weren't sent. I emailed Emily about the missing items and the unsealed one and she said she'd send them (note, no apology for the error). Again I got an EVRI code and again the status remained that they were waiting for the parcel Waited a week then emailed Emily again on 24th April asking when the parcel would be sent and rather than answering that she said she would refund me. I assumed she wouldn't but left it a few days then emailed her and asked for the refund to be processed and said I'd give it a couple of days then I'd go to my bank and ask for the money back that way. I heard nothing so I contacted my bank and luckily they refunded my money but it means the company seem to have kept my money and the items they owed me. After many years of buying stuff online I have never had an issue like this and I certainly never had to raise a dispute with my bank. They are terrible, and as a side note the products I did get weren’t great!
