The Pod Club Reviews 

I don't know how it happened but my bank stopped a payment of £74 to a company called Pod Club. The only company I can find with that name is this one.
This was with a new card I had issued because of other attempts to take payments.
It may not be Pod Club itself but someone who had got my card details but looking at other reviews it is obviously a dodgy company.
Also, the web site just gives a blank page when accessed.

bought some thing from a catalogue in the saturday papers, 12 month later this scam outfit rang me to say i was a valid customer and was getting a £75.00 voucher as long as i signed up to their holiday club. told them where to go as i smelt a scam. rang my bank and stopped any deductions. this is the third timethey have tried to fleece me and managed to take £99.00, even though i have changed my DD card twice. am now in talks with the bank for a refund.

Very bad scamming going on with this name.

They are continually trying to take money from my bank account. This is a scam company.

Nil points not one point! But can’t leave a zero. This company took £54 and £79 from my 90 year old mums bank! She received a weird phone call from someone alleging to be her bank who asked her some security questions. She told me the next day and I immediately smelt 💩. I got her to phone her bank and report it, which she did. It was a scam. A few days later this company appears on her bank statement. Thankfully, the bank refunded her both amounts taken, cancelled her debit card and sent her a new one. Good job I did smell 💩 and got her to phone her bank. I don’t know whether this company were behind the scam or whether the scammers used my mum’s details to pay this company but reading other comments here I have my suspicions.

Just found they have taken money from my elderly mothers account without authorisation. Contacting the bank to block them then I will be contacting the police as this is theft.

My 86 year old Mother has also had Podclub try and take money from her account over the last week or two. She has spent hours on the phone to the bank trying to sort this out. This has caused so much stress that she had a mild stroke, fortunately she has recovered ok.

This is a scam company!
They steal anywhere from £25 to £100 directly from your bank account under the pretence of a subscription service.
They fraudulently access your bank details and systematically remove differing amounts without any prior permission or consent.

I agree with all the other comments made. My 80 year old sister accidently signed up to this. I phoned the company in September and requested that any subscriptions were cancelled, they agreed to this and refunded all but £10. On November 21st they tried to take £74 from her credit card but fortunately her card company blocked the payment until they had been contacted.

Even scamming my elderly grandmother! Bank have refunded the money. They need to be shut down!!!

Scammers stealing money. Avoid.

THIS IS ABOUT THE REWARDS CLUB AND POD CLUB. The Rewards Club and Pod Club which are aligned with Easy Life. 28th October Rewards Club took 2 x £59.99 (£119.98) out of my account. Had no idea who they were. Called them and told them to get my money back into my account as I didn’t know who they were and what I was paying for. When asking my information they couldn’t find my info until I gave them the first 6 and last 4 digits of my long number. The info came up. I got my money back that week. The following week The POD Club tried to take £79.45 out of my account but it was declined as I had transferred my pension to another account so the payment didn’t go through. I contacted the bank again and the bank put a stop on both these companies so they couldn’t take funds. I called the POD Company which is at the same offices. They asked my info again and the same problem arose so I asked if the name was my name on their system and I was told no, different name and different address. I got that info. I told them to take my bank details off their system. Then Sunday 10 November guess what, another attempt of £158.33 by the Rewards Club was attempted but declined again as I had not transferred any money back. I called them today and was scathing on the phone, I was informed my info had been removed and the guy hung up on me. I was refused when I asked to speak to a manager. So I called again a few hours later and it was confirmed my details had been removed. I am waiting to see if any more attempts are going to be made. I have wrote to the CEO to all the companies he is CEO of, with no response. Be careful because Easylife must share your details with these two companies and I think they sign you up with Rewards & POD company and start taking funds out of your account without any authorisation from you because you don’t know they are doing it. Also this will be a recurring charge not a one off payment, details are shared and in the future you may well be signed up for something you didn’t apply for and these are not small amounts. . JUST BEEN CALLED TONIGHT BY EASY LIFE TRAVEL CLUB. YET ANOTHER COMPANY UNDER EASY LIFE UMBRELLA. AM SUPPOSED TO BE OFF THEIR SYSTEM. BE WARNED AND STAY CLEAR. BE WARNED AND STAY CLEAR.

Scam!!! Been taking money from my mums account. They have obviously shared card details with others who have been taking also. Managed to get almost £1300 back through Halifax but they have been taking amounts since 2021. Little chance of getting that back

This scam company has taken money from my 84 year old mother’s account AGAIN even though she never subscribed to anything, she telephoned and complained last month and was given a refund and told her details were no longer on file. I’m absolutely livid

My disabled sister has had a number of small payments (£5.99) taken by the pod club and the reward club (possibly linked) she has never taken out a subscription to either.
The pod club website doesn't appear to be working today. Does anyone have an email or post address that they have had a response from?

Just checking my 85 year old mums bank account and can see a payment for £99 has been taken out from this company. She has not authorised it so definitely a fraudulent payment. Have reported it and cancelled card. Disgraceful company!

This company tried scam my mother & stole her card details .. bank blocked payment luckily

I have been billed for £65.99 twice in October. Never heard of the company before this has happened and did make any purchases from them. Obviously a scam.

They are a bunch of scammers because some marrons got my bank card details and tried to take money out of my account this is not the first time very angrier
