Nightmare to work with, stay away

Strongly urge everyone to find an alternative provider, but here’s a glimpse into our terrible experience with TPF:

• Viewed show pods Feb 15, 2025. Were explained the pods, delivery, aftercare, and timeline. Told it would take 12 weeks to receive pod once deposit was paid and final plans approved by us.
• Eventually settled on TPF. Initial quote Feb 25.
• Signed off on final quote June 6. Paid deposit (~27k) on July 7 after getting loan. TPF was uncommunicative throughout. Had to follow up repeatedly, answers took 2 weeks+ on average.
• Aug 14 signed off on final design.
• Sept 3 we asked for a timeline of delivery. Oct 24 told there was still no TL. In a call sometime in Oct, Barry told us it would be delivered before Christmas, but no set date. Dec 1, we asked again for a TL. Told we’d get an update on Dec 8, which didn’t happen. Never got answer if work had even started on pod.
• Dec 12, Barry said pod would be completed within the next 2 weeks and delivered before end of Jan. We sent email Jan 3 asking for a firm delivery date or getting our money back. Got response Jan 7 telling us it’s scheduled for Feb 10, which once again missed deadline.
• Asked to pay the 2nd half of the money a few days before the “delivery.” We agreed to only after having received photo/video evidence of finished pod, which TPF agreed to send. A day after asking for this, suddenly they couldn’t make the delivery date because of “bad weather” impacting the crane. We asked again for photo evidence. Didn’t receive anything until Feb 10 evening (supposed delivery date). Video we received clearly showed pod WASN’T finished (sockets/lights not fitted, bathroom cabinet wasn’t in, etc). Feb 11—more pics; clearly tried to hide the unfinished state it was still in. Feb 12 they sent us the outside of a wrapped pod w/out ever showing details of the finished pod we asked for. Then insisted on being sent the money before Feb 13 or the crane company would charge a “cancellation fee” that we felt TPF implied we should pay despite being told it would take 2 days lead time to transfer the money. Didn’t receive video showing the completed pod until Feb 16.
• Pod delivered March 3rd. Woke up to crane outside door. No warning or follow-up after this either. Guy hired by TPF to come in after them to hook up our gas had also not been told; found out through us.
• TPF destroyed our garden and left it littered with rocks. Left various trash lying around, including several cigarette buds/screws. Pipe they connected was leaking; big hole in our house wall now. Finish on pod isn’t great. Extractor fan doesn’t work. Chip in bathroom tile, which are atrocious; uneven and grout is already filthy. Front panels are rough, dents in walls, toilet seat moving around, door handle feels flimsy, scuffs/paint everywhere. Worker pissed in the pod toilet they should have known wasn’t hooked up (several bathrooms available in main house) with a piece of plastic trash inside, so we had to fish that out ourselves before flushing.
• We sent TPF a list of the worst issues to fix, were initially ignored but eventually told someone would be there by March 11. No one showed up (again, not informed).

TLDR: Given 12 week TL to receive pod after paying deposit (~54k for small pod w/bathroom) & signing off on finished design. Done Aug 14 (after TPF delayed by taking weeks to respond to our emails). Delivery date should’ve been Nov 6. Instead, got pod March 3 while TPF never proactively informed us of delays & had us chasing them for months for any update at all. Finished pod is bad quality, several things broken, still not fixed. Garden was destroyed. TPF lied to us repeatedly (in writing, we have the screenshots) about multiple things, including state of the pod, reason for the delays with the crane… Didn’t ever show up when they said they would, still haven’t received “welcome package”, no info when the issues will be looked at/fixed…

Go with literally anyone else, TPF has been a nightmare. Not a single good thing to say about them. Avoid.
