I bought one and it worked for a while…

I bought one and it worked for a while maybe a year and then went dead. My grandfather bought another this one only lasted 6 months. $300 some BS. Get a $30 one just as good. They have terrible customer service. Do NOT BUY.

I would never recommend this product


I would never recommend this product. I purchased the Theraface mask in December 2024. The face mask has always had issues with charging and I noticed almost immediately it would start to vibrate at random times. I initially assumed this was a charging issue and it would work after being charged. Now, 14 months after purchase, the face mask does not work at all. It will not turn on despite being on the charger for many hours. Sometimes when I unplug it, it continues to vibrate until it is plugged back in. There is no response to either buttons. I have seen similar reviews online. When I reached out to customer service about this issue, they refused any assistance because the warranty was expired. It lasted two months beyond the warranty period. I would never recommend this product based on the cost and lack of assistance from the support team.

Don’t buy. Premium price for a disposable product

The Theragun Elite worked well while it lasted, but ultimately this is an expensive, disposable product that I would not recommend.

Despite careful use and proper storage, the battery failed just after the warranty period and the device stopped charging entirely. This appears to be a known and inevitable issue, yet there is no option to replace the battery, no paid repair service, and no way to fix what is a minor component failure.

For a premium-priced product, this is unacceptable. Once the battery goes, the entire device becomes landfill. There is no sustainability consideration built into the product design or the company’s support model.

Customer service was quick and polite, but that’s where it ends. After escalation, the outcome was simply that nothing could be done. No goodwill gesture, no meaningful discount, no trade-in, no refurbishment option. The only solution offered was to buy a brand new device at full price.

I wasn’t asking for a free replacement. I was asking for any incentive to remain a customer. There was none.

At this price point, you expect durability, repairability, or at least reasonable post-warranty support. Therabody offers none of these. The product will deteriorate and fail over time, and when it does, you are completely on your own.

My advice: don’t buy. Get a much cheaper alternative. Paying extra for this brand is not worth it long term, as the product is effectively disposable once the battery fails.

9 Years, Zero Regrets 🌟

I’ve been using Therabody for 9 years — the guns, the Theraface — and I’ve never had a single issue.

Their customer service is consistently kind, helpful, and human every time I call. Honestly, I don’t understand how they get bad reviews — my experience has always been amazing.

I’m even more excited now to get the Sleep Mask, and I see others around me just as happy with their Therabody tools. This is a brand I truly trust.

No delivery, no refund, no response

I ordered the item a month ago and received a tracking number.
Apparently delivery failed twice. The address is correct and is to my workplace so there is always someone here to sign for it.

Tried contacting customer service. They did respond to me initially, but failed to actually provide any answers to the questions I had. Subsequent emails have gone unanswered.

In this day and age, this level of customer service is abysmal.

I need the item as an xmas gift, and as it has not arrived, I have asked for a refund.

2 days have gone by and no reply to my refund request.

Abysmal service

After using it for 20 minutes it fails…

After using it for 20 minutes it fails to turn back on again so my mom can use it. It doesn’t turn on until the next day , every single time we have used it once it won’t turn on again for another cycle. The system is horrible and not worth the money.

Bought a Theragun Mini as a holiday gift. It stayed boxed, was barely handled, and still failed immediately. Fully charged, wouldn’t power on.

Therabody rejected the warranty because it was past one year and offered nothing beyond a link to their outlet store. No replacement, no credit, no real support.

For the price and the brand reputation, this was a letdown. The device felt like old stock that died in storage, and the customer service response sealed it. I won’t be buying from Therabody again.

Bad customer service on return

Support is a mess. It took me a month just to start the return process, even though I was still within the warranty period—and I bought directly from them.

When I finally shipped the item through FedEx, I was charged $15 because Therabody only covered shipping, not handling. It caught me off guard; I’ve never experienced this with an American company.

Theragun mini stopped working and they would not honour the 2 year warranty.. said it was because I bought it from an unauthorised seller… nonsense, I spoke with the seller who confirmed and proved that they bought their stock directly from Therabody.

Disappointing Support for Lightly Used Theragun — Do Better, Therabody

I purchased a Theragun a few years ago and have used it fewer than 20 times. It was very lightly and carefully used, yet it recently stopped working completely. I reached out to customer service and provided the serial number, a video of the issue, and all requested details.

Unfortunately, Therabody’s response was dismissive and repetitive. Because I no longer have access to the email account that was used to make the purchase, I can’t retrieve the original receipt — something I’ve explained multiple times. Still, they continue to say there’s “nothing they can do.”

There was no effort to help — no troubleshooting, no discount, no repair option — just a flat refusal. I wasn’t demanding a full replacement. I was hoping for a reasonable solution for a premium-priced device that was barely used.

After reading dozens of similar reviews here and on other trusted websites, it’s clear this is a pattern. Therabody appears to offer no support once the warranty period ends, regardless of how little the product was used or what information the customer can provide. For a brand that positions itself as high-end wellness, the service experience is deeply disappointing.

I’ve submitted a BBB complaint and reached out to the executive team directly. I hope this review helps other customers know what to expect before spending hundreds of dollars. We deserve better.

Defective on arrival. Terrible customer service!

I ordered a Theragun which was defective when it arrived. I was asked to go to lengths to return it - even make a video of the issue . It wouldn't hold a charge so how does a video help? Once I finally got the OK to send it back I got an email saying it would take up to 3 weeks for them to decide the status of my warranty! Many emails back and forth which all sound AI generated and no phone number for customer service. I would not do business with this company! Plenty of competitors on the market!!

Woefully poor customer service

Woefully poor customer service. Product has failed and company won't stand by their warranty. A representative says they would replace the item but that they are out of stock, and that I can be notified of new stock via the website. A quick glance at their website shows that the product is readily available! All I get back are copy / paste responses saying the product is out of stock and the conversation goes round in circles. Painful.

Company will not stand by its warranty

A new Theragun Pro 5 ordered from the Theragun storefront on the Amazon UK website. Battery charging problems on arrival. Therabody customer support (apparently based solely in the US) disclaimed all knowledge of the seller (Theragun Europe LLC) in spite of the fact that Therabody is listed as the parent company and the Amazon supplied invoice shows Theragun as based in Therabody's Europe HQ in Dublin. Therabody's own website also says Theragun on Amazon is an authorised seller. Therabody customer service claimed there was no way to buy a Therabody product from an authorised seller on Amazon UK: they simply don't have them. After battling an obstinate and unhelpful customer service for several days, I returned the item under Amazon's 30-day returns policy. There is a serious problem somewhere between the company and the representation of authorised sellers on the Amazon UK website but I have lost interest in trying to work out where it is. I had a lucky escape. UK buyers should avoid buying any Therabody product from Amazon UK as Therabody will refuse to recognise any warranty on it whatsoever.
