We had a phone call February
Saying that they had a dachshund in need of a new home. (Otto now called Oliver)
They were brilliant in helping a smooth transition . Paid everything at our vets for him and quickly also . We paid an adoption fee and now pay a monthly payment (a little bit and often which everyone should consider) The Red Society are brilliant in everything they do

Absolutely amazing support and communication through the process.

Had my dream dogs from here many years ago and still to this day the Red Foundation are at the end of the phone or e-mail if I have any queries/problems. Highly recommend TRF for doggie adoptions.

We adopted a second daschund through red foundation.
They are so supportive and helpful.
They did checks on us to make sure we were the right people for him.
They offered support and advice when needed.
I 100% recommend them if you are looking to give a lil baby a home .

I registered to rehome a dachshund shortly after the organisation we founded in 2017, to my surprise I was matched with a 6month old only a few weeks later. The 9 hour round trip was worth it! The process was really easy and the charity have been great. 7 years later and lots of fundraising later, I have found a great community of people through them too. Regardless of if you are the surrender or the adopter I think you will have a great experience with TRF.

I adopted my miniature dachshund Woody in August 2022. As a first time dog owner, the Red Foundation team (all volunteers) were so supportive. Very caring and knowledgeable. Would recommend.

An amazing charity who go out of their way to help dogs, owners and adopters.

We adopted our sausage from the red foundation. We got a huge amount of support and assistance. They gave us so much information and guidance - which we were ever so grateful for, since we were new dog owners. The people are amazing!!!

Excellent support provided in the lead up to, during and after our adoption. He had some anxieties that needed work on and we had a number of calls with the behaviourist. We have loved every minute of adopting, it’s not always easy and takes time and patience but we would definitely do it again through the Red Foundation.

Cannot recommend TRF enough if you are looking to adopt a dachshund. So important to do your homework about the breed but the volunteers are amazing providing advice and support throughout the whole process. They matched us perfectly with our boy and it’s the best decision we ever made. He is the BEST and we can never thank TRF enough for everything.

I adopted a bonded pair Huxley and Marv and I have to say they have both changed my life. The energy and heart they bring to my home is beautiful. The Red Foundation held my hand throughout the whole adoption process always on hand with advice and care. I'm extremely happy and grateful for all their hardwork and help. Keep up the good work.

A fabulous charity with people running it that genuinely care about every dog under their care!
I have had the please of being the new home for 3 dogs from the red foundation over the years, all with their own back story and have been supported throughout the adoption processes each time.
I also work in a vets and have contacted them to assist with surrender cases to which they have sorted immediately each time to achieve the best outcomes for the dogs

What a lovely organization, always do what's best for the doggies, we adopted the lovely Bertie as an old boy, after his owners sadly passed away. We were helped at every level.. even when, sadly after only 4 months with us, Bertie crossed to be with his original family.

We have 3 sausage did that we have adopted through TRF.

They are amazing and the fact that 3 years in we can still contact them for help and support is amazing.

I cannot recommend The Red Foundation highly enough! After being approved as an emergency fosterer, I had the pleasure of fostering a medical dog with IVDD. The support I received from the team was absolutely brilliant - volunteers were always available, offering guidance and help with any issues. Thanks to their dedication and expertise, my foster turned into a ‘foster fail’ and is now a permanent member of the family. I also adopted another dachshund this year from The Red Foundation, and have continued to receive great support.

The Red Foundation really puts the dogs’ best interests at the heart of everything they do. They even funded my foster fails rehab, giving her a chance at life she never would have had otherwise. Their adopters’ group on Facebook is fantastic, and they run fun photo contests and events to raise funds. This charity truly goes above and beyond for every dachshund in their care, and I’m incredibly grateful for all they’ve done. They’re easily my favourite charity, with wonderful volunteers who are always there when you need them.

We have adopted and also fostered with TRF, and both times I couldn't speak more highly of this Charity. Run by volunteers who deeply care about the dogs, who will (quite rightly so) always come first. The support leading up to and following adoption was fab, and just what we and our dog needed. The support doesn't go away once you have adopted, as there are a network of highly experienced and skilled volunteers who are always willing to help you! Highly recommended organisation!

Caring people doing a difficult job. They have saved and continue to save these adorable little dogs. Long may they continue. They have given me the greatest little love of my life.
