Reformation began by selling vintage clothing out of a small Los Angeles storefront in 2009. We quickly expanded into making our own stuff, with a focus on sustainability. Today, we make effortless silhouettes that celebrate the feminine figure and pioneer sustainable practices, focusing on people and progress each step of the way.

I never leave reviews
I never leave reviews, but the quality of their dresses that I ordered were absolutely shocking. Left me totally speechless. The quality was worse than shein, cheap and just shocking, especially considering the prices. I sent it back immediately with no hesitation. If I want cheap, low quality dresses I will just order from shein for £10.
Avoid, so disappointing
Delivery took longer than stated so too late for occasion
Delivered crumpled up, creased and no care considering price of dress
Much longer than stated
Tried to return..oh what a nightmare
Tracked overnight via post office, delivered and signed for, company now can't trace it
Avoid, Avoid ..very disappointing and frustrated
Now tryng to get my money but they can't find my return
I cannot return my order
I cannot return my order! On portal it is registered as undelivered. No return can be started. Many emails unanswered. Chat told me they cannot help.
Social posts not responded to. No complaints procedure. No phone number.
300 pounds out of pocket. So furious.
Do not use!
Ordered the Zenni dress and the quality…
Ordered the Zenni dress and the quality is so poor - I would've guessed Shein. It doesn't fit (somehow loose on the chest but tight at the waist).
In addition the packaging was very underwhelming, a plain paper bag for a £300 dress... Not paper inside to prevent creases or protect it.
All they want is your money …
Have tried 3 ways to get in touch with customer service. Phone numbers for shops in UK don’t work. One says leave a message but then says mailbox full. Another says you can only contact by text, which I did over a week ago and have not received a response. Welcome code for 10% discount doesn’t work. I get the impression all they want is your money. So glad I read Trustpilot reviews and now won’t be buying from them.

i ordered a tote bag as my first purchase from reformation and i was shocked with the quality and finishing of the bag for such a premium price. avoid!
Beware poor quality deadstock fabric…
I’m a loyal Reformation customer and usually find the sizing and quality to be excellent. I appreciate the brand’s sustainability mission, especially their use of deadstock and vintage fabrics. But here’s the problem: that commitment can sometimes mean inconsistent quality.
For example, I recently bought the Paulette top. I cold hand washed it—and it shrank drastically. Not wearable. I now see many others reporting the same issue with this top. It’s incredibly frustrating to pay a premium for a garment only to realize it basically has to be dry cleaned every single time. Not so sustainable after all, is it?
If you’re buying from Reformation, be careful with items made from deadstock fabrics—what sounds sustainable can end up being delicate and high-maintenance and not sustainable.
Slow customer service
Slow customer service. Bad delivery, I have been waiting for weeks and they returned the item back. They aren’t answering for 5 days, I asked for send the item again and not to wait 10 business days for refund and order the same item.
Ordered a pre-order dress
Ordered a pre-order dress. Promises of 2 shipping dates to UK. Both surpassed without contact from company. Appalling Customer Service. Takes days to answer email. Had my money for 3 weeks and I do believe would have hung onto it longer if I had not requested an immediate refund. The event I ordered dress for has long since gone. Did not realise I was ordering abroad when placing order. Would not use company again.
Fast Fashion Quality & Overpriced!
Just another fast fashion company under the guise of being a "trendy, forward-thinking, sustainable" brand.
I purchased the Gigi Strappy Mid-Heel Sandal, and only after 4 wears, the heel completely broke off. Needless to say, it was not only frustrating but embarrassing.
I reached out to customer service to see if there could be an exception to the return policy given the price point. Nope!
All I got was "We’re so sorry if this policy let you down."
Now I know why they don't have customer reviews on their site. All the reviews elsewhere just say how poorly constructed everything is. And they're right!
If you're thinking about shopping here, I'd be very cautious.
If I wanted crap-quality shoes, I wouldn't have paid $300.
Appalling experience and customer…
Appalling experience and customer service. Please avoid. I purchased a top from Reformation a couple of weeks ago. Upon receiving the item, it was clear to me that the top was completely different to the top shown on the website. I returned the top indicating the issue. Thereafter, I received an email rom Reformation advising that they would not be refunding the cost of the top to me because it was considered to be fake merchandise and they were flagging my account and effectively blaming me! The top was sent to me direct from Reformation. As a lawyer myself, I find these allegations extremely concerning. When I asked to lodge a formal complaint, I was advised that this would not be possible. Despite the serious allegations levelled against me, Reformation issued me a vague apology and refunded me the money. I have previously spent a lot of money on items from their website and to be treated like this is absolutely shocking. There is absolutely no way I will purchase from this company again. For a company to make such accusations so easily and without looking into their own responsibility is very worrying indeed. I have been forced to report the situation to Trading Standards.
Bad delivery experience, uninterested customer service
I've ordered a few dresses from here, and while they were lovely and I was satisfied with the quality and tailoring the delivery process for my country was terrible. I got the notice that the package was going to be delivered on Friday, was at home the whole day but the courier didn't try to call or ring the bell they just falsely marked that I wasn't at home. There was no customer service phone number for help, and in the end I had to drive two towns over to pick up my order myself at their warehouse the next week. I tried contacting Reformation customer service and while they weren't rude, they weren't helpful either, as soon as I confirmed that I managed to pick it up myself they didn't care anymore. I would be happy to pay more for a proper delivery service, but I would never order again as it is now.
Good customer service
I had a problem with my delivery and it was initially a bit difficult to address, but the customer services team then managed to fix it. I really appreciated that they were able to help - it showed a good level of care for customers and I would order from the company again because of their help.
Can’t return item, non existent outdated returns process - avoid
Trying to return an item to Reformation is impossible. Need to log in, tried to reset password and it doesn’t send a reset password email to enable you to log in and start the returns process. Zero customer service, avoid like the plague.
Quality not good enough, too many items with holes.
Quality is too bad to justify purchasing here anymore. I think their pieces are so cute and try so hard to buy from sustainable brands, but I have tried buying from them three times in total over the years and every time I receive items with holes (always where the stitching is). Also in general often see-through fabrics. I will finally just unsubscribe from their newsletter and stop buying from them now.
Dye Transfer Rhodes denim jacket
I recently bought the Rhodes denim jacket from reformation for $360. I hoped that for that price, the jean jacket would be excellent quality. I take it home, try it on and loved the fit so I took off the tags and wore it out with a white tshirt and white jeans. The next day I see that the dye from the jean jacket has transferred onto my white clothes and stained them. I reached out to customer support to share my disappointment and they said “because of the natural materials in this jacket that’s why the transfer happened and they can’t process a return or exchange”. So frustrating and disappointed for such a high price at a company that claims they’re environmentally friendly and high quality. I will not be shopping there again and people should avoid the denim jackets unless you plan to where them with only dark items under.
Do not spend 300£ for these dresses
I have purchased a 300£ dress. The reason why I purchased on this website was to avoid fast fashion (my personal choice), thinking that such money would have guaranteed high quality materials. Also on their website they claim their commitment for environmental care and sustainable clothing. The dress was of very cheap material - part of it might have been my fault (viscose does not scream high quality) however, I could have bought a similar dress from Shein, certainly it was not worth 300£ and if I remember well was either made in China or India. The return service was however very efficient.

I've already done a few purchases from reformation and everything has always gone smoothly. Very nice silk dress, very nice linen co-ords. The delivery was also very quick.
Missing item
I just received a large order, and a $400 dress is missing. I have not heard back from customer service, but this is very upsetting since I have paid for the item. I will update here as things progress, but I have never had this experience with a company before.
Still not recieved my order over 2…
Still not recieved my order over 2 weeks after purchase - when they specified 2-5 days delivery. Now I have recieved a refund email - with no explanation or notice to say order had been cancelled. The amount they are trying to refund me is £10 less than I paid - total SCAM
