My 84 Yr old mother gave no Bank details or asked for a subscription But they still proceeded to take £18.50 a fortnight from her account How do they get her details? Rang Easylife to be told Mum had Subscribed with Perx my Mum is totally deaf how anyone can make my Mum understand any sales talk is a surprise I would warn anyone with a elderly parent to be beware They seem to target the Elderly Totally Disgusting

My bank contacted me to say they had stopped a payment going from my account to The Rewards club as it was identified as scam for which I was very grateful. It would appear they are associated with a company called the Easy Life so beware.

This company is a fraud. Do not under any circumstances have anything to do with them. They randomly take money out of your account, which gets more frequent. Instead of £69 per year. They were taking £74 every 2 weeks out of my mom's account for nothing. She is 81 with no access to Internet so could not even access their services.

This was flagged up by my credit card company (CapitalOne) as a potential fraud, and I'd absolutely no idea what it was, so I went to tustpilot, to check out the reviews.

Avoid. Some sort of ruse to do with a free one month trial for a magazine, with a promise of Tesco vouchers, which was cancelled but they still took £81.99 even though no bank details were given. Looking at previous reviews now seems like the bank details were passed on from an associated company.

Tried to take £75 from my Barclaycard. Fortunately BC fraud spotted it and have dealt with it.

Fraud more than spam or scam.

This is a total con ( I could have used a lot stronger description ). I received a phone call from a lady with a South Africa accent, as did another reviewer, offering free vouchers as I had previously shopped with one of their partners. When Three letters came I thought something was wrong and sent the three tear off strips back saying I didn't want any subscriptions. Today I noticed a pending transaction on my bank statement for £5.77. I immediately contacted my bank and reported it as fraud and they have blocked the Company. It seems from other reviews I have gotten off quite lightly. Also I have emailed the company but won't hold my breath for a reply. Be careful when answering phones everybody.

Firstly this company could reply to emails and secondly this company could stop taking money out of my mother's bank account! I have been refunded 2 amounts that were taken and now 2 more have gone out of her bank account. No reply to my emails just gets me angry and when I call they can't talk to me about her acount even though they have had my Lasting Power of Atourney!!

My wife received a letter from the Rewards Club saying that her free trial of the motor cub was about to expire and £65 would be debited from her account on 22 July. As she hadn't signed up for this. I did some research and saw from Trust Pilot that the connections were EasyLife and old age. She had purchased something from Easy life years ago (and is elderly). I did some research and found that The Rewards Club is owned by Easylife and the director for both was the same person. The registered address is a private house. This is probably why he gets away with data protection. Easylife itself has a big warehouse in Sheerness (Google Maps). However further research shows that the holding company is the Louvre Trustees who are based in the Channel Islands. No names can be found. My wife contacted her card company and hopefully any payment will be stopped. This explains how the Rewards Club have a person's details so the lesson is if you don't want unsolicited rewards don't buy from Easylife.

In my opinion these people are taking advantage of vulnerable people. Trustpilot shows 98% one star! You cannot put less than one star! Take a look at their online account submissions. 26.11.2022 they were listed as a 'Dormant Company'. Hey presto - 30.11.2022 They have assets of £10k, and creditors who are owed £9.9k. With one director and NIL employess.

I too have just been scammed by 'The Rewards Club', aka,'The Motor Club', aka,'Easylife', for the sum of £162. how they acquired my bank details is a mystery. I never entered into, or signed for a contract, or passed on my card details. As a result, I have shredded my card, and reported the company to the fraud dept. I read that Easylife are owned by Easyjet.... Careful who you deal with!

They have taken £79 from my credit card. I have never given them credit card details or authorised any payments, I don’t even know who they are, clearly they have obtained my details and completed a fraudulent transaction. My credit card company are investigating

FRAUD . THIEVES. CROOKS .This company are crooks they have stolen from my 80yr old aunty with dementia , the website is a fake and the links to facebook etc arent real. Do not answer their calls emails or texts! SCAM SCAM .

Message from mother (80 yrs, recent victim of scammers) "I need to talk to you about fraud on my Barclaycard. On my latest two statements 'Rewards Club' has been charging £18.50 quite a few times and I have no idea who they are."
Seems they specialise in preying on the vulnerable, wonder how they sleep at night knowing they are bringing such fear and worry to innocent elderly people - do they have no relatives of their own?

Update - 09/07/2024 - Barclaycard have refunded 6 transactions and sent a new card; the very same afternoon mother received a cold call on landline from an operative promising lots of free gifts and concluding conversation with, "so we have your agreement Mrs ..." - but mother had heard word "Rewards club" so said no and put phone down; will see if that has deterred them - shocking that they retaliate by heavy sales tactics deployed the very same day the bank has taken action against them, they will clearly stop at nothing to exploit elderly vulnerable customers...

A very bad experience as Rewardsclub attempted to take money from my bank account without my knowledge and without me being a "so called" member. I ordered items from easyLife and the nightmare began. When the goods arrived there a number of leaflets enclosed which I immediately threw into the recycling bin as I was not interested in what they were offering. Next thing they attempted to take £89 from my bank account which was thankfully stopped by my bank who informed me immediately of what I would describe as a scam. It seems that easyLife and Rewardsclub are connected and running this scam together as the only way Rewardsclub could have got my bank details is from easyLife. Avoid easyLife at all costs, do not buy anything from them as they appear to pass you banking information onto Rewardsclub who then take money from your bank account. I have spoken to both companies on the phone, sent emails and yet I am still unsure that my membership, which I never agreed to, had been cancelled because they refuse to email confirmation that this has happened. All I can do now is keep looking at my bank statement to make sure they have not plundered my account. easyLife and Rewardsclub are rogue companies and should be closed down by the authorities.

This company (if they are a company) will try to scam you. If you see a payment to podclubs 0345 174 0592 or similar, contact your bank's fraud dept

I received a phone call a few days ago from a lady with a broad South African accent and was unable to understand a lot of what she said. I agreed to read the magazine but decided it was not for me. I sent an email with my so-called membership number saying I was not interested. They replied asking for my full home address. The next thing my card provider stopped a fraudulent attempt to charge my card with £81.99. I Perx and the operator didn't have a clue and allegedly knew nothing about it. She said I had 3 accounts with them but would not give me details. I have at her suggestion requested an email confirming all my so-called accounts are cancelled. I suggest they are acting illegally and suggest you avoid them like the plague.

Not even a 1 star company. They scam elderly customers. My mother was scammed out of £65. Thankfully her bank sorted the issue.

Avoid at all costs.

Six years ago I bought one item from Easylife and then was conned into joining their book club. Luckily I was refunded £49 but they did not want the books back.
Last week I had a letter from RewardsClub welcoming me to the book club again and I noticed £184 had been taken from my bank by Premieroffers which thankfully the bank refunded me and I cancelled my bank card. Later that day I noticed the payment had been taken from an old card that was cancelled ages ago - so no point in cancelling cards if they can still be used. Yesterday I received another letter welcoming me to the premier travel club and if I did not cancel in 4 days 30th June I would be charged £99. I immediately sent to them cancelling this with a signed for stamp. Both of these offers were done without my knowledge, surely this is unlawful, surely fraud!
