Absolutely awful service, if I could give less stars I would. They failed to complete the install on the agreed day as did not bring all the equipment with them. Then on returning to complete the work installed the remaining panels in the wrong location and had to be chased to fix this and then broke several roof tiles in the process. They promised to fix these within a week but had to be continuously chased and had several no shows from agreed fixing dates after having to take time off work waiting in for them. It took them over 4 months to come back and fix the roof in which time we had to deal with rain leaking in and causing further mess and damage. Their customer service is horrendous as they do not reply or seem to care once they have been paid.

The installation team were quick efficient and professional. It was raining hard but they remained cheerful and helpful throughout. The scaffolding team were great too, very careful with my property.

Very good team, worked very cleanly and gave lots of help in understanding the system.

Solar Panels
Excellent service from start to finish. Steve and Che were very polite, worked hard and explained things.
Hopefully I will start using my own electricity once the sun comes out!

We have just had solar panel fitted by Thermohome ltd. Very impressed with the helpful staff who answered all our questions and explained all we needed to know.

We have today had solar panels installed and all went to plan with an experienced team of fitters. They were happy to answer any questions, even the simple ones, and even installed the app on my phone and gave me instruction on its use. They were considerate, polite and respectful. The office team were very efficient and provided paperwork/certificates immediately on completion. I feel assured that I can contact them if I need any further assistance. Now only time will tell how it goes but certainly 5 stars so far.

Right from my initial enquiry the help and advice I was given regarding my solar panel installation was excellent. Morten was extremely helpful, making suggestions around specific products to help me get the best out of my planned project. The process was all very quick and efficient, and although there were a few snagging/post installation issues, he was always on top of them, ensuring nothing was signed off until it was working perfectly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Reliable, professional service from enquiry through to installation and post installation for our project to install solar panels, battery and inverter. The installation team did a very neat job and the system is working brilliantly even in cloudy conditions. Morten has been excellent in calculating both the number and capacity of solar panels, the battery size and why we should go with a particular make of battery and inverter. I'm so impressed with this company that I'm considering using them for Part 2 of increasing our green credentials and reducing our energy costs further by purchasing a Harnitek second generation air source heat pump, to stop burning oil.

We had a 1970s house with cavity walls that had never been insulated. The house would heat up quick, but cool down quicker. Thermohome we're the only company that helped us work out what insulation was best and explain why. They arranged a date, turned up when they said they would, we're done by lunch time and left no mess. Now our heating runs once a day during the winter and the horse stays warm all day.

A well considered assessment of work required with a competitive quote, which was carried out by a hard working and polite operative, who completed in the time predicted.

Pleased with the service provided: 6kW solar array, 6kWh batteries, SolarVenti heater, improved loft insulation, and lots of consultation.

## Flexible and comprehensive solutions

Morten and Jason definitely listened to our goals and made tailored suggestions for us. It was great to work with people who could picture all the pieces - generation, storage, heating, etc - and how they would fit together. We have installed / will install several pieces of technology we had not heard of before!

## Experience and time for hire 👍

Making a house sustainable involves a lot of 'moving parts' - selecting components, arranging tradespeople, correct installation, paperwork, many more... It would have taken all our free time, and patience, to arrange this ourselves, so having Thermohome to take care of everything was a dream come true.

## Fast

Thermohome got in touch quickly, and regularly. The turnaround from first contact was less than 3 months. We were advised which work was best to get done soon due to demand - solar panels - allowing other work to wait.

## Installation

Everyone involved clearly had a lot of pride in their work. Fixings are either well hidden, or carefully placed for a pleasing aesthetic. All feels solid and is working as advertised.

## Needed more guidance

Having no experience ourselves, here are some areas that were difficult because Thermohome either didn't have the information, or didn't communicate it:

- Maximising sustainability, rather than return-on-investment. TP did their best to adapt from their default suggestions but it felt like they had less experience coming from this angle. E.g. when to charge batteries, redirecting excess solar.
- Being at home. Challenging for us to arrange on short notice, causing difficulties with: deliveries on unspecified days, work of unknown duration, weather dependent work. We could have coped better with more warning.
- Storage ahead of installation. Our driveway was the only practical drop-off for the 500kg of expensive equipment, but was not a secure location, so we spent several unexpected hours clearing space indoors then transferring. As novices we did not know to plan for this.
- Checking for wildlife. A chance conversation with an ecologist revealed this is regularly forgotten in permitted roof developments like ours. It is unfortunate to think that we can never know whether our work may have disturbed something. Would have happily arranged for a cursory survey had we thought of it; would be great if the industry were more mindful of such things.

From our experience with with the team we have no doubt they will be able to use this feedback to make their service even better than it already is ☺️

Excellent company who has installed insulation and a PV solar with battery system for us. All staff, office to installation teams, have all treated us with the highest professionalism with ongoing support when ever we have needed it. The company take great pride in looking after their customers and I would recommend them to whoever would benefit from their services.

Contacted them about a solar installation. They initially contacted us to conduct a desk top survey to show the viability for us to have a solar system, providing us with plenty of facts and figures.
They then visited us and conducted a very thorough survey of our property, where the panels, wiring, inverter and battery would go.
The installation itself ran like clockwork with the scaffold and system installers arriving when they were scheduled. They worked quickly and efficiently and left leaving no trace.
We are delighted with the system, and regularly check how our electricity production is going versus our power usage and this in itself has made us much more careful switching appliances off, and not leaving them on standby, when they are no in use
