£53 GBP over 3 years and I still don't have a functioning vacuum bottle.

Over the last 3 years i have had 3 new thermos flasks. A Red metal soup thermos, large black plastic thermos and a replacment upgraded red metaI thermos.

The soup flasks worked, but the vacuum failed before 2 years. £24 GBP.

The black plastic ones internal glass blew up once filled below the neck with water from a electric kettle. Sainsburys replaced it and let me upgrade to the metal version 13 months ago. Plastic £18 GBP, upgrade £11 GBP.

The new red metal worked great for 5 months last autumn.

My backup thermos is metal from the 1970s, it works flawlessly, but a little small.

Both clean and placed in a cupboard 8 months ago. Always stored open to the air.

Within the last hour I have cleaned and filled both bottles. After 1 hour i went and checked the bottles. The 70's bottle is cold outside and steam coming out once opened. The 15 month old bottle is hot on the outside and a lot cooler inside. So much cooler I can placed my finger in the red thermos but the 70's thermos is far too hot to touch.

Obviously the new one used for 5 months and stored for 8 has lost its vacuum. Also out of date with the manufacturer 12 months warranty.

I won't be buying another product branded by thermos ever again and I would advise to stay away from any thermos product.

£53 GBP over 3 years and I still don't have a functioning vacuum bottle.

Small Thermos Failure

I purchased a small thermos flask from Sainburys which was quite expensive £27 from memory. Anyway the catch that holds down the lid has failed. I contacted customer services who were difficult and dogmatic about requiring the receipt. Having explained it was on a shopping receipt that I no longer had they finally agreed to replace it. I've now received the replacement which is totally different and much larger so it useless for the purposes the original was bought for. Every stage of this process has been difficult and disappointing.

Exploded whilst filling

Exploded whilst filling . Thought I’d give this flask a try as I thought thermos had a good reputation. Lasted not even 6 weeks and was only using on weekends. I won’t buy thermos again

Thermocafe expensive rubbish to match their customer services

Purchased this and when being washed the cup between the plastic and stainless steel allows water ingress, so this cannot be dried out. Phoned customer services and because couldn't find the receipt they asked me to send it back but would send me a cheaper one back in return..! I asked why not the same type and I was told because I have no receipt.
Because I said no, the said that they would send a replacement cup, but couldn't guarantee if it would fit or look like or what condition it could be damaged.
This made me look further forward the receipt which was found and I returned it to Asda who were great and I bought there own brand as I had previously.

Thermocafe not fit for purpose

I bought a small thermocafe flask for my wife to take home made soup to work.
Despite filling with boiling water to warm up first. Then filling with hot soup.
4 hours later she started lunch to find the soup was only slightly warm.
Do they not test this junk before making claims about how long food will stay hot for. Thermos used to have a good name but this is just more imported rubbish from China! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!

Water bottle seal has been notoriously problematic

Went through about 15 water bottles in the past two years and the silicone on top of the cap (protecting the outlet) moulds awfully quickly and there is nothing that can possibly remove it. The seals/plugs are not available as spare parts.
Will be sending back to the address advised by the customer service for 'an investigation'.

Terrible sustainability, just out to profit

Bought a Thermoscafe 1L recently and wanted to buy some spare seals as I use coffee in my flask which discolours it.

Disgusted to find this company refuses to sell 30 pence replacement seals and instead eye-gouges it’s customers into buying a complete replacement stopper for £5 just to get a new seal.

A company like this should realise they have a responsibility towards sustainability in this day and age, What a waste of money and plastic, just so they can make more profits. I’ll buy from a more modern company in future which has better morals and social responsibility.

We bought a Thermos Primo Desk cup for a Christmas present and it arrived with a broken lid. We have tried to contact the customer services on several occasions by email / phone and no one has responded. We have been waiting for almost a month now. Not acceptable to provide a broken item and then not respond at all. Very digusted - shame on you Thermos Online!

LEAKS and it is only 1 month old!

I have had the bottle for literally one month and it is already leaking. I treat it super well and wash it every time. Always carry it in my bag amongst soft sports clothes and since this morning I can't even drink from it because it leaks all over my top! VERY unhappy with it. The top doesn't even open properly when the button is pressed (Thermos Double Walled Insulated Hydration Bottle 530ml Blue). I DO NOT recommend this product. Camelbaks are a way better buy. Go on THERMOS, I expected better than this for what you charge for one of these!

Brillant and stylish product

I tested the tumble and filled with hot water at 14:00, when I checked at 23:00 the water was still hot. In the morning the water was luck warm. I have not tested outside with cold temperature yet but compare to other brand thermos is the best and worth the extra cost. I am pleased. I will be able to use it for work.

thermocafe pot

Love the thermocafe pot. Great size. Second one we've bought for leftovers lunches.

Spoon that comes with it is pointless though as not long enough to get to the bottom. Unless you tip contents on to a plate which defeats object of the pot. We lost the first spoon almost immediately. Would be good for walks though as integrated despite being short. We use ours for lunches so always throw a fork or spoon in.

The label stuck to the pot is really sticky. Still not got all the glue off despite hot water, soap and then trying with nail varnish remover. Don't remember that last time.

Great pot. Just change the label glue! Can't believe I've actually written all this about a container. Must do some work!
