Worked for about 3 months then stopped syncing with phone and dangerously overheated in its cradle which would not turn off. Repeated contacts via their "Contact Us" link received no response. Going to report the company and product to consumer affairs on principle......a shonky product and a shonky business.

I ordered a thermprobe from their site on the 2nd February. i cant get in contact with them despite trying on numerous occasions. i have had no email, no communications nothing and the tracking on the site does not exist. i have been onto the bank and see if they can reverse the transaction.
i think I have been scammed!!!

As everyone has previously stated, company is a scam company. I normally review every purchase I make online. Don’t know why I didn’t this time. Same as every other review. No product and no reply to emails. Took the cash and then nothing. Better to go give your money to people that really need it rather than these thieves.

SCAM COMPANY! Do not purchase from them! They are fake and non existent. They only have an online feedback option and no phone number and I have tried to contact them a dozen times since 20 December 2024 and I never hear anything. Fake company!

I received a Thermprobe for my birthday and it didn't work - wasn't connecting via Bluetooth. I tried to call them to discuss the issue, but there is no phone number, just an online enquiry. So I sent them an enquiry and never heard back from them. My friend who bought me the present also tried to contact them and never heard back. So no way to get any money back and no replacement. The company says they are based in Australia but I really doubt they are. Do not buy a Thermprobe.

Product ordered on 13 December. Website states 6-9 days delivery to New Zealand. On 24 December (after 4 unanswered emails and a message to a Facebook account that is no longer available) I contacted my bank to start the dispute to get my money back as the product hadn’t been delivered.
The parcel tracking was updated on 30 December (I had to log back into the website to find it tho!) to “on its way”. The bank paused the dispute and I was advised to contact again in 15 days if it still hadn’t arrived. Today, 22 Jan 2025 the delivery status on the website still said “on its way”, but with an updated date of 8 Jan. I emailed the bank again to say it’s now been 14 days since the last update on the website and asked them to start the ball rolling again on the claim.
AN HOUR AND 20 MINUTES LATER…. I get an email notification saying it’s been delivered - AND IT HAS!
That’s 40 days! And wonder if wonders - it came from China. Not Australia.
Not acceptable service from Thermprobe.
Do not recommend this company at all.

Ordered in NZ on 2nd January for husbands birthday present. Got an email of confirmation and that was all. Then happened to look at reviews....eek.! Emailed as to where product was.... nothing. Rang bank and reported as possible scam just heard back from bank and they will reverse the charges. This product is not out of Australia...my money came out of the UK via China.... TOTALLY A SCAM. 🤬

Customer service is non existent. I ordered this product on the 21st of December and it’s now the 19th of Jan. I have tried 3 times to communicate with them to enquire about my item. The tracking is only saying preparing order. This item is only meant to take 4-8 business days and the item is meant to ship from only in Australia and I have been given a china post tracking number. This company is a sham. I will never be purchasing from them again.

If you want this exact product for a fraction of the price, look no further than Aliexpress, this is where these scammers are dropshipping from.
My partner bought me a pair for xmas and only one works, app is glitchy and product isn't well made. Can't get hold of the sellers via email, we form or their shopify email address.

Ordered 17/12/24 for Christmas. Have emailed multiple times and still nothing. Very disappointed. Would not recommend.

This is not a scam, but a Chinese based company with a well built website claiming to be 100% Australian.
I got my probes after 6 weeks with many attempts to reach out to the company for updates. When I placed the tracker into AustPost I noticed it was shipped from China not Australia as heavily advertised on the website.
Even once received, it does not read ambient temperature like the site advertises and the app is dreadful... My strong advise is spend the extra money and get a better quality product.

Absolutely dreadful service. Ordered a Thermprobe kit on 7 December 2024 for Christmas present and nothing received except an order confirmation. Started getting Chinese updates via the Shop app but these have now dropped off. Three emails to the support line and you guessed it, no response!! Just when I thought $129 was wasted, the product turns up at my door, a month delayed. Better communication from Thermprobe would have been appreciated, at least updated tracking would minimise fear the product purchased is still on its way. Sorry but because of the poor service I cannot recommend this company ☹️

Ordered on Dec 15th, never heard back on my requests and product didn't turn up, so I filed the dispute with my bank.
Reported the website to Google, the website is - still! - sponsored there. The advertiser is stated to be from Rhyl, UK, which matches the bank payment reference. So I highly doubt that the business was founded in Perth.
With this Christmas present ruined, I hope to at least get my money back. Do not order from this website, likely a scam.

Just the absolute worst. Took 6 weeks to arrive. Had emailed twice and had no reply. When ordering I was told online the range of the probes were said to be 170 in product description and 165 feet in an image for range. When it is actually only 3 meters when in a bbq (which you find out on the box) so if completely useless for my application. Have emailed them again now to start the return and refund process. Highly doubt I will hear back so will no doubt be reaching out to the ACCC later this week to begin that process. If anyone at termprobe does read this it would be greatly appreciated if you could reach out and aid me in getting this nightmare sorted.

As per all the reviews below. Ordered 12 Dec no communication since. No replies to emails or calls. Definitely a scam or at the very least a very dishonest operation.

This is a scam website. Item never received and despite multiple attempts to contact the company I never received a response. I’ve opened up an investigation with my bank.

Don't waste your time or money. No communication or reply to any email or refund requests.

Classic 'drop shipping' style scam! Product took a month to arrive and when it did it came straight from China. The product itself is an "AI Cooking meat probe" which has just been lazily wrapped in a 'Thermprobe' branded cardboard slip. You can find the original product on Amazon or Temu for $40 (which is still a rip off given that this product feels like it might as well be made of plastic). It is usually labelled something generic like "Smart Meat Thermometer" or "Wireless Meat Thermometer" but it is all the same product.

Do not cancel your fraud alerts, if you paid $130 for this product you have absolutely been scammed, just like me!
