Way before we decided to try and conceive our second baby, I did extensive research on finding a doula, I knew having the support of one would be a huge deciding factor on whether or not I could go ahead with a second pregnancy which I so badly wanted - which is where I found Lauren!

I reached out way before we had conceived and explained my anxiety surrounding pregnancy, labour and birth because of my previous experience. I was greeted by the most incredible and understanding person and from the very first message I knew I just had to hire Lauren to be by our sides throughout.

She continued to work with me well before conception and filled me with confidence, knowledge and the belief that I was capable and this next birth would be my own. Lauren introduced me to the world of home births and hypnobirthing and taught me how there are so many different options for how you bring your child into this world - helping me claim this pregnancy and birth as my own.

She’s a huge reason we decided it was time to go ahead and grow our family and gave me the biggest amount of confidence in myself and for that I will be forever grateful.

Lauren has been literally ‘on call’ throughout my pregnancy, even when I’ve text her at silly hours or rang her crying over something irrational and even while experiencing her own pregnancy journey and beautiful new baby bubble - she’s been there!

She’s kept me grounded when doubt crept in and prepared me for all potential scenarios and how to deal with certain things that may arise. She’s totally changed my outlook on labour and birth - to the point I’m actually excited to experience it - with her supporting me all the way in just a few days/weeks time.

Lauren is so knowledgeable, friendly and calm. She’s filled me in with real statistics and information to help me make informed decisions that suit me throughout the past 9 months. I really cannot rave about her enough and no amount of ‘thank yous’ will ever justify how much she’s helped my outlook and encouraged us to go ahead to grow our family! Everyone needs a Lauren x

I booked in for a one to one session with Lauren around body autonomy and my legal rights at the start of my pregnancy and it was so valuable in helping me navigate the maternity system and in being aware of the coercion.

Lauren is so friendly and approachable it was like talking to a friend. I feel completely comfortable in asking any question's I had. Since then I have booked in for two phone appointments with her too and both have been very helpful. She also always replies quickly when I have a quick question to ask. Highly reccomend her services.

Lauren is lovely and easy to talk to. She has done PA work for me and completely revamped my website.

She has a great insight into birth as she is also a doula, hypnobirthing instructor and breastfeeding supporter.

Lauren really relaxed me when I was left feeling so stressed by the NHS, as they were not supportive of my want for a home birth. We got in touch with her when I was 35 weeks pregnant. Sadly, I didn't get my home birth as Grace came at exactly 37 weeks, but Lauren arrived quickly at the hospital and stayed with us until late. The nursing staff were difficult at times, but her knowledge really helped us at the time to stand against their bullying tactics.

Whatever our queries, Lauren was only a phone call away. When I asked her to visit us in hospital, she visited us. This gave me peace of mind at a difficult time when I was struggling to nurse and under pressure to formula feed.

She has a vast knowledge on all areas of childbirth, nursing, etc and will send you links really quickly. She has helpful Facebook groups that you can join.

So helpful and lovely to talk to, nothing was too much to ask for, would definitely recommend
