Really disappointed with the quality of the gloves. Very thin and don’t stay up my lower arm - they fall down like school socks that have lost their elastic.
The year’s supply of sponge scourers was also an expensive mistake. They are stiff to handle, you have to really scrub at any stains on anything - no where near as efficient as the supermarket ones with the green bit on them. Until there is something on the market that is eco friendly and actually better than the thing it’s trying to replace, then don’t bother. I made an expensive mistake and I’m fuming.
The order also took ages to arrive even though the money had been taken.
I am extremely frustrated with my experience. I ordered a Smart Ortho King-size mattress (78x72x6) on 10th Jan 2025, but the wrong size was delivered on 20th Jan 2025. After officially reaching out via email on 28th Jan 2025 for an exchange to the correct size (78x70x6) and upgrading to the Smart Ortho Pro, I paid the excess amount requested. I was assured the correct mattress would be delivered promptly.
However, it’s been 45 days, and I still haven’t received my replacement mattress! 😡
I’ve followed up repeatedly, but there’s been no clear solution or timeline provided. This lack of communication and service is completely unacceptable, especially from a company that claims to prioritize customer satisfaction.
This should have been a simple fix, but it’s turned into a nightmare. The Sleep Company, it’s time to deliver on your promises! I expect my order to be resolved immediately!

I ordered over 3 weeks ago, payment was taken and the order status notes that the order is 'unfulfilled' - not sure if that means it is delayed or will never happen or what. I have emailed and await response but wish I had checked reviews before.

Two weeks after placing my order I am yet to receive anything. I have emailed twice asking for a status update with no response.

Bought their washing up gloves and am very disappointed. They are very thin and both pairs I have used so far have punctured within a few days. Will have to go back to some better quality gloves.
"Our best-selling eco sponge ... works just as well (if not better) as a plastic sponge.". I gave this sponge a go and I'm really disappointed. This part of the marketing sentence is a lie. 12 sponges should have lasted a year, in reality it was merely a 6 months supply. This might be a perfect product for people with dishwasher. If you only need to wash up the few things you can't stack into the dishwasher, you will still have a harder time than with a plastic sponge, but it might work. Be prepared though that you will need to scratch dirt with your fingers instead of with the sponge. This sponge is so soft, you could use it in your bathtub. For heavy duty, daily washing-up this sponge is simply inadequate. This fact should be made completely clear in its marketing material instead of the lies, like the one mentioned before. I love the idea and it was great to throw these into the compost but it just happened way more often than I had thought it would. I second the other reviews: the sponge is more rigid and you use more washing-up liquid with it than with a traditional sponge. Is it possible to really create a compostable sponge as good (if not better) than the plastic ones? This remained an unanswered question.
It's a great idea, and good luck, but I will stick with my made in uk scourers.
These are okay but I had a pretty disappointing experience given the claims.
They do not scrub as well as normal sponges or scourers. They began to fall apart after about a week (the two materials separating). And I was cleaning the handle of a spoon and it cut through the soft side.
I’ve gone through a full pack in the same time i would have gone through a single sponge. So as much as they do win points for their environmental friendliness, practically it’s not a cost effective alternative at all.
I love the products I've tried, and knowing I'm not contributing to plastic pollution. It's incredible how the sponges last for over a month each — and I can pop them in the washing machine! Their customer service is top level too, Ali was friendly and helpful.
Love the quality of these products! I have been looking for a sustainable alternative for a while now and these have been the best I've tried. Will be buying again :)
Sadly the composition of the item has clearly changed as the recent pack we received were nowhere near as good as the pack we bought last. These literally fell apart within a couple of weeks. I would not buy again. Shame! They used to be good but feel far cheaper and less quality now.
Here for the money - avoid!
I have placed an order, which by mistake had an old address.
Within 1 minute of placing the order, I contacted SEEP asking to please change the address.
I got no response for the whole day.
I contacted them again at the end of day - no response still.
The day after, I finally get a reply saying it's too late, and that my only option is to ask the person (that I don't know) living at the old address (which is 100s of kilometers away) to reject the parcel - thank you so much.
I wonder how much you are helping the environment shipping things that are not needed to a wrong address, and not putting any effort whatsoever in trying to be conscious.
Further to my previous review of Seep... after contacting the company, they quickly sent a replacement batch of sponges. These have fared much better. I've had 2 weeks use out of a washing-up sponge and still some life left in it!
I stupidly did not know you could order less than the 12 pack of sponge/scourer by going to Amazon. I debated a long time investing in a years supply.
After the first use it started to disintegrate, how could you put that in a washing machine!
After a few more uses the scourer side has stained so badly it is going black. At £25 this was an expensive mistake while I was just trying to do my bit for the planet.
I ordered a four pack of the sponge scourers via Amazon and after a week the first one started to disintegrate! I had bought them on the basis they would last a while and could go in the washing machine to be cleaned, as advertised on their Facebook and website. Too late to get a refund via Amazon (I didn’t open the pack for a few weeks) and the company are not being very responsive. They offered replacement but I said no as the product is not fit for purpose, and they said they can’t refund. Not impressed especially at the price charged.
I've bought seep sponges several times in the past and been really happy with them. In may I bought a pack of 12 that's supposed to last a year. The first sponge started to fall apart after about a week, but I thought it was just a glitch. However, I've been lucky to get two weeks out of subsequent ones. Don't know if I got a bad batch, or the quality has just gone downhill. Really disappointed.
So far loving my washing up sponge. Bendy enough to get in corners but strong and sturdy enough to do the job. Will see how long it lasts and report back but so far v happy and glad to be doing my bit.
I've been making my household more ecological for years as new products become available, so trying Seep was a no-brainer for me.
I ordered the Eco Sponges with scourers and Eco pop up Sponges and received a £5 off my order. I can't wait for my old products scourers and sponges to wear out before using these.
I ordered on the Wednesday and they were with me by the Friday so you can't ask for better so I'd highly recommend Seep for all those who are ecologically and environmentally minded.
Efficiently delivered sponges and gloves. Good quality sponges and great product.
Ordered sponges 7 days ago and they still haven't been shipped yet
