I am really impressed with The Slate Mill. It was so easy to use the website and order exactly what we wanted. The proof came through just hours afterwards along with a personal email. After giving the OK, it went into production the same day and was shipped and received I think within a week of placing the order.
The product is lovely quality slate with just 3 numbers with white paint highlight. Haven’t installed it yet, but it will look very smart when we do. I definitely recommend for quality of product, efficiency and communication. 👍👍👍

They were extremely helpful throught-out the order process, with excellent and friendly communication. It was helpful to review different style drafts before signing off the final design. We are really happy with the final product that looks lovely and arrived quickly. I would highly recommend them.

Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for Dave - we went round several iterations of design and proofs by e-mail to accommodate an awkward street name and are delighted with the result, which has arrived very securely packaged.

Very professional service. Shows you a copy of the finished version and makes recommendations based on their knowledge before the product is made. The door sign was finished to a high quality, really impressed with it.

What an outstanding product! Beautiful material and simply stunning finish; this is the nicest sign we could have wished for and we are absolutely delighted in every respect. Customer service was also a strong point. Worth every pound for the quality overall.

When I first received my sign, I was a little disappointed that some of the letter spacing was a little “off” and initially posted a 4 star review. When Shaun of The Slate Mill saw that I wasn’t 100% happy with my sign, he contacted me to offer to replace it. I didn’t complain to the company but they contacted me. They didn’t have to do this as they send you a proof of the artwork before they engrave it and I approved that proof. I assumed that nothing could be done about the letter spacing. It was my mistake. I was wrong. Another Slate Mill member - Dave - then contacted me to determine exactly what it was I wanted and patiently (very patiently) and good-naturedly tweaked the font design repeatedly until I was 100% happy.

How many companies do you know that will go to those lengths for customer satisfaction? And this was done in repeated, patient e-mails that extended late into a Saturday evening. Nothing was too much trouble and was immediately responded to.

I cannot stress how impressed I am with this company - with their product and with their commitment to customer satisfaction. Outstanding!
