Product has just arrived so can’t comment on durability yet but our sun shelter is brilliant and actually looks much better in real life than the photos. Not sure we will have the opportunity to test it out this year but looking forward to!

Bought some replacement canvas for my old dad’s garden chair after the original finally gave up the ghost after 60 yrs wear. Better than new now.

I bought a beautiful headrest from The Stripes Company. I'm absolutely thrilled with it. The fabric is such good quality and the colours are stunning. Great workmanship too. The shape and size is perfect for my Adirondack garden chair and it has totally transformed it. I would definitely buy from them again.

Great quality product. Arrived within days in strong packaging. Couldn’t wait to get them on the wall. Waiting for more new ideas & would definitely order more!

I am very impressed indeed with The Stripes Company. I posted my templates to them on a Tuesday afternoon, received confirmation that they had been received on the Wednesday morning and on the Friday received notification that my new seat covers had been dispatched. They fitted perfectly when they arrived and I am delighted with them. I highly recommend this company.

I sent a template for replacement director chair seat covers on Monday and received the new covers on Saturday of the same week. They fit perfectly and look great.

Cannot recommend this company and their deck chairs enough. I bought some Business & Pleasure deckchairs and when they arrived I was horrified by the poor build quality so sent those back and bought two from The Stripes Company instead. Absolutely different class, really sturdy and well made, wonderful fabric choice, headrests are fab, fantastic customer service and super fast delivery. I will certainly be buying from this company again, so glad I found them.

ordered 2 deck chair cushions costing £50 for the pair. When I received them I wasn't happy with the quality of the cushions. The stripes didn't match up and there was no zip. So, mismatched material and a short amount of time to produce these small cushions. Company only able to give me a credit note (if I returned them at my expense.) credit note only because the material was " personalised" ie. That I had asked for a particular fabric. So disappointed that their quality control deemed this to be of a good standard. I could have done better myself.
Updated. I had a call from the company owner who was so sorry and genuinely devastated by the treatment I received. She explained that their policy hadn't been adhered to and that a no quibble guarantee should have been offered. I was refunded in full and then sent 2 beautifully made cushions at no cost to myself. Very impressed and I will now be a repeat customer. Well done Stripes Company ! 💐😍😀

The deckchair I bought is holding up well after 3 years. What's much less impressive was their complete lack of response when I told them of a serious security breach of their customer database back in 2021. I've continued to receive threatening emails from the hackers over the last two years in which they quote the unique log-in and password I created when I registered with The Stripes Company back in 2020. The total lack of response or apology from the company is appalling.

Director's chair Fabric fades to almost nothing. Stretch to a ludicrous extent. At this price they should last more than 1 year - in the FAQ's they suggest replacing them every year due to the extent of fading.

Two folding stools looked great but, with just three years' occasional summertime footstool use, one gave way when sat on by a regular-sized adult.

The glue in the joints had failed and the whole thing just fell apart. Luckily, the person wasn't elderly as they had quite a nasty fall.

Messaged the company via their online form, offering to send photos. Heard nothing.

I needed 150cm fabric for a roman blind. I was pleased to find the Bolero clearly stated as 150cm wide in the perfect colours on the Stripes company website. I ordered and was sent 2m very promptly. However on unpacking I found the fabric to be perfect apart from being only 130cm wide which was no good for my project.
On calling I found they do not answer the phone you can only leave a message. I contacted them via the website and they emailed back saying I should return the fabric and they would refund the price and postage which they did. They said that new stock had come in that due to an error was only 130cm wide. I think they should be experienced enough to notice. I noticed as soon as I unpacked.
It was all disappointing as I could not use the lovely fabric and I had all the bother of contacting them, repackaging and posting.

Won’t deliver to Ireland, North or South . They use the excuse of the price of postage , Brexit etc but other, even smaller businesses have no difficulty fulfilling orders . The Stripes Company even had the cheek to offer a St Patrick’s Day discount - using the Irish card when it suits them !
Negative reviews on FB & Instagram are deleted . Sad but true.
A business that doesn’t want business….others do so support them instead .

On paper the product looks very nice but we never found out. Ordered in early March, lengthy delays due to Covid/shipping etc, which we understood, it is common.

When eventually they were ready to deliver we asked for delivery to a second home as we were to be there at the advised time. Further delay (it happens) mean that nothing came while we were there so we reverted delivery to the home address which they assured us they had done.

The courier continued to advise they were delivering to the second home so I made a further ten hour round trip to be there for them. No delivery to either address. At no time has it been possible to SPEAK to this company - they do not answer the phone, the recorded message blaming COVID (get used to it guys, it is not going away!) and latterly they did not respond to emails without repeated messages.

Despite being told they could deliver at any time to the home address they preferred to cancel the order. They were advised that the card account used to pay in March had been closed but still processed the repayment as a reversal of the original payment which meant almost £300 has been sent to an account that doen't exist and I will now spend weeks trying to get it back.

I ordered a 1.5m length of deckchair material. The piece received was slightly, about 2.5cm, longer and very good quality. Postage was inclusive and the service used was Royal Mail 48 and I received my order within a week. A 10% discount voucher against similar future orders was included.

Had to pay to receive our own original chair covers back from them! Tantamount to theft when they withold your own property. It would have been so easy for them to include them when they send the new ones, but no, they have to hide this in very small-print small print. If anyone can think of a good reason why they don't just send them back to you I'd like to know what it is.
Having said that, the new covers are fine.

I received my fabric yesterday. It was unfortunately short of 2m that was required to complete my project. I had only received 1.98m.

I wrote explaining please could they supply 2m as ordered.

This is what they replied even though I had bought more fabric for 1 chair.

“We recommend 1.5 metres of canvas for each deckchair and the drop down box is set at that amount with clear instructions on the page/product information - unless it is altered manually at the point of ordering which is probably what happened.

You have only paid for two metres and may need to order a further 1.5 meters of canvas to complete your project if recovering a deckchair.”

There were no apologies for the shortfall and rubbish customer service. I was asked to send back 2nd class. I would not recommend them.

Stumbled across this company by accident. New customer. It took a week or so longer than promised but we live in Covid times and they were at peak season for business (early spring). It didn't feel like an excessive wait. I ordered a premium deckchair in 'scuba'. The colours are lovely, the frame is high grade teak and very sturdy. I tried it out, the one day in April it was warm and found it very comfortable. Struggle to see how it could be bettered, other than perhaps being machine washable. Very pleased indeed. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Reading others comments, perhaps they need to work on customer service if they want to grow. I did note they state on the delivery page of their website, to 'Keep enquiries to a minimum'. Seems a bit odd. Perhaps they have 'bitten off more than they can chew'. Something to work on. Anyway, it worked out well for me. Overall, based on my experience, I would trust them with your purchase.

Ordered replacement fabric seat and back for a directors chair. Very quick service, attractive colours and good quality

I bought some lovely stripy canvas for my deck chair that I had had for 10 years then the fabric finally gave way. I found The Stripes Company with their lovely stripey canvases and bought a length to redo my chairs a few months ago. They were quick to respond and the width and length were correct to do the back and seat of my deck chair.
