Been going regularly with my girlfriend when we can, the sessions are always good fun we would both highly recommend!

I had such an amazing first (of many hopefully) SurfSkate lesson! Having never been on a skateboard/ SurfSkate ever (and I'm almost 40) I assumed it was something completely inaccessible to me. But Seb was incredible. He broke everything down in to manageable chunks and I could not believe how much progress I made in the lesson. Seb is clearly an expert at what he does and has passion shine through. I can't wait for my next session! I cannot recommend SurfSkate Academy enough!

Sebastián was a great coach and really helped me progress a lot in my first session! I hadn’t surf skated before this and now I’m feeling much more confident and excited to skate more in the future! He took videos which helped a lot and gave really good tips. 10/10 recommend

Had such an enjoyable session refining and learning new techniques with Seb! He was so clear, thorough and knowledgeable about everything. He’s also very friendly and personable, whilst keeping professional when coaching. He makes sure that you’re getting every bit correctly before moving on to the next thing. I feel I’m starting to have a breakthrough with my skating finally, and I look forward to more sessions and guidance from Seb!

I had an amazing experience taking a surfskate class with Seb! As a complete beginner, I was extremely nervous about falling, but Seb's friendly demeanor and excellent teaching skills quickly put me at ease. I made significant progress during the first class without a single fall, and best of all, I had lots of fun! I was so thrilled with the session that I rushed to book my next class right after. Highly recommend!

Seb is such a good teacher. He’s not only professional in surfing and Surfskate but also teaches in an understandable way. I enjoyed the sessions with him, and would love to continue when I get chance!

I've been taking surfskating lessons with Seb a few months now and honestly, I cannot recommend him enough! He's a great instructor, welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Each session is exciting and challenging at just the right level. Learning a new skill, especially at an older age, can often feel quite frustrating. However, with Seb's help and insights I always end up feeling accomplished and motivated to do more.

I've just started learning with Surf Skate Academy, and only wish I had done so sooner! Seb is an excellent teacher and coach, and I can't wait for my next session. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to get into skating, surf skate and improve their surfing - brilliant!

North Berwick Youth Project had a fantastic experience with Seb when he delivered a block of 5 sessions to young people of all backgrounds and abilities. Young people felt welcome, safe, confident and happy throughout the sessions and Seb has a real lovely way with them, being very creative with his sessions whilst keeping it fun and relaxed.

This was my second surf skate lesson with Seb. Seb knew exactly where to pitch the lesson to build on my progress, and made sure we got the most of the time we had. Seb is great at explaining the technique and I was delighted with where I have come with my skating journey. I can’t wait to go home and practice, and I will definitely be booking another lesson.

Had my last session in a skatepark today. Really enjoyed the session! It was my first time in a skatepark, yet i found it quite easy to adapt with its condition.

I found that Seb's methodology works really well! The flat sessions really build up the techniques and muscle memory, and it helps to make you ready for skatepark!

Seb was fantastic from start to finish. He volunteered his time for our Summer Reading Challenge events at the library completely free and it was great to see that he shares our enthusiasm for reading. Communication was great from start to finish and on the day the kids all had a fantastic time. He was great with them making sure they were reassured and felt confident after only 45 minutes. He also let them continue to use the boards long after the lesssons had finished making sure they were all learning and having fun. Can't thank him enough!

I am relatively new to surfskating, and decided to start lessons with Sebastian before I picked up any bad habits on my own. I’m so glad that I did! He made sure to explain the reasons behind why he was teaching me certain drills, and he was patient and cheerful in his instruction. I felt like I progressed at a really manageable pace throughout the lesson too - he gave me just the right amount of things to work on at each point during the lesson, as he gradually built up complexity without me reaching information overload. Sebastian is clearly incredibly passionate about what he does, and the lesson was super fun and enjoyable!

We collaborated with Seb in running a free introductory workshop for our charity The Spit it Out Project, and had an incredible morning learning to Surfskate in the sun!

The Surfskate Academy are absolutely brilliant and I would highly recommend them. Seb was really communicative during planning so as a festival we knew exactly what was happening. The lessons ran brilliantly, there was a lot of interest and uptake and Seb has a really relaxed, informative teaching style with the younger kids and got along really well with the teens and adults, bringing out the best in them and encouraging new skills. Everyone loved the event and got so much from the experience. They also made an excellent quality film of the event which we're incredibly proud to have associated with Haddstock. This was a great addition to our community festival and we'd love to invite The Surfskate Academy back.

Great group fun in a relaxed environment with a friendly instructor. Can’t wait to go back!

Surfskate in the sun- what’s not to like! Sebastian was a great instructor, super knowledgeable and supportive. Although the session was for a group he gave plenty of 1-1 support for all of us. All in all a great experience and will be back! 🤙

Phenomenally helpful training - fun session where I learnt a lot! Seb was great at applying the concepts alongside the practical exercises, and showing how the theory applies to the surfskate and then how that applies to your surfing. Very highly recommended for any ability level.
