Well priced items, fast shipping, look good quality, good company to deal with.

Easy ordering process and helpful staff. Was informed some of my switches was coming from the manufacturer and would take a little longer for delivery. They sent me what they had and informed me when I would get the rest. Got them a few days earlier than they estimated. Happy customer will order again in the future

Worst customer service from Mark I have ever recieved . Ordered on line , items showing in stock , the next day received an e mail to say the items had been ordered from their supplier and would take about a week for them to get them ! When I replied saying I had ordered from Switch Lighting because they showed as in stock , Mark replied , they are in stock , they are in stock with the supplier , if they were out of stock the delivery would be 6 weeks , I am unclear from your e mail if you can still wait for the delivery though ! Absolutely obnoxious reply , Im not sure I have ever received such unimpressive customer service . Cancelled order and reordered from Sparks Warehouse , they showed as in stock and actually were in stock !

I was looking for a hard to find telephone socket, Switch Store had what I wanted & shipped it quickly & without any fuss.

I cannot rate this company highly enough. Their products are high quality & very competitively priced. The customer service is exceptional & you can buy with absolute confidence 🤩

It's my own fault really, I should have checked TrustPilot before ordering from these people. What an absolute shower! I am unable to tell if they are just conmen or just incompetent. I ordered some items from them 12 days ago, still no sign of the goods appearing and no word from The Switch Store despite emails to find out what is happening. I'll have to raise the issue with Paypal as I suspect they are scammers.

THEY WANTED PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE IF DANAGE TO A £3.50 WHITE LIGHT SWITCH!!

I HAVE BEEN AN ELECTRICIAN FOR OVER 20 YEARS AND DEAL WITH CEF, EDDYS ETC AND ALL OF THEM WIULD JUST APOLOGISE AND SEND A NEW ITEM OUT NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I MEAN ITS A £.3.50 SWITCH!!! A COMPLETE JOKE OF A COMPANY WOULD NEVER USE AGAIN!!

Almost a month now and no sign of my purchase, You can't contact them by phone, but they will respond by email, "we'll look in to the missing item" but nothing happens, will now have to contact PayPal and start the process of recovering the money.

CHEAP BUT UNRELIABLE
I ordered about £400 of switches and sockets. Had no updates about shipment. Could not get through on phone, left voicemails and emails to no avail. Building project had to be put on hold as could not book electrician until I knew when the order would arrive.

I did eventually receive all items. I guess they are ok if you are not in a rush and can wait weeks for the product to arrive. They are cheap though. I also got an email apologising for the delay so I guess they are very understaffed.

One star is far more than this business deserves. We purchased a light switch via The Switch Store online, which turned out to be unsuitable for our walls. The Switch Store is one of the names used by Birco Distribution so check out their Trustpilot reviews. We emailed twice, left a message on their answerphone three times (there is no way to speak with a human being). We followed their return instructions which are illegal, by the way, as Birco demands return within 7 days, which breaks the Consumer Contract Regulations. We returned the switch via Signed For and it was received by someone called Thompson. That was two weeks ago. We requested a swap rather than a refund initially, but have heard nothing. So emailed and telephoned again requesting a refund as we’ve had to buy the switch elsewhere now. Today, we lodged a formal complaint about Birco Distribution with PayPal. If you pay by debit or credit card, contact your bank and request a chargeback, if there are enough complaints, eventually their merchant services will be removed. Birco seems to trade online under a host of different names so check the refund page before proceeding with any purchases. I’d highly recommend Electrical Sockets UK as a great alternative, I have no affiliation, just out of all the electrical suppliers we’ve used recently, they have been superb on price, accuracy of order and speed of delivery.

Great quality switches at good prices. Placed order, it said in stock. Couple of days later they emailed saying one switch was out of stock would I take a similar one. I agreed thinking they would send order straight away. Two weeks later order turns up. Pretty poor service...But great quality product.. Shame...
