This company are illegally selling…
This company are illegally selling reconditioned iPads as new. Their targets are those who may not have had an Apple product before, or more vulnerable. The iPad I ordered took nearly 2 weeks to arrive, sent from a fashion shoe shop in Hong Kong (where they get all their stuff from as has the same UK plug ! ). It had a tell tale replacement screen, and fake packaging, poorly printed, marks on the charger. Clearly they are taking second hand damaged Hong Kong iPads, and fraudulently selling as new. Reported to action fraud and the other reviews, don’t buy from this company, your product is likely to be out of warantee and not be what you ordered !

SCAMMERS- FRAUDULENT-LAIRS-KEEP CLEAR!!!!
We bought a Samsung S9 £380.00. It was counterfeit, and the serial number was from a 2013 phone!!!!!! They make it impossible to get your money back. We did get ours back after months of help from citizens advise and a court action letter. They've been reported to action fraud and should not be trading. They have now charged me for the customs shipping VAT!!!!! BE WARNED STAY AWAY!!! If you have any problems getting your money back then citizens advise were great and helped me with this.
Liars and Scammers
Liars and Scammers
Sell second hand items as new, then lie and say they are open that they are refurbished items. They don't; they make a point of saying they are still factory sealed products. So, WHEN they go wrong, as my £329 iPhone 7 did after 2 months, you find out that the 'New' item is actually closer to 4 years old, has been registered before in America and so is not under Apple warranty, and then Tablet Hub just fob you off saying they'll let management know of the issue. There is no official complaint procedure, no refunds and no come-back, despite being out of pocket.
Don’t bother - you’ll be scammed
Take my warning! DO NOT buy anything from this company. They sell faulty goods, refurbished, and already registered outside the UK. My iphone 8 plus was advertised as a brand new, UK origin phone. I still have the packaging proving it came from Hong Kong.
It started glitching after a few weeks, so I asked for a refund, explaining the problem. I have an email trail from the past 5 weeks, and Post Office tracking, proving they received the phone back, and that they've "issued" my refund. No refund yet, and the bank has confirmed that no-one has sent a refund. On notifying The Tablet Hub, their response was "you've got the email stating we've issued your refund, take it up with your bank."
After I said I would complain to Action Fraud, they replied to say it’s the bank and evalon’s fault.
My next step is to report them to Action Fraud.
New phone is actually secondhand
Sold me a secondhand phone and described it as new. Apple have verified that the faulty phone I have is not new at all, it was opened and used many months before I received it. TabletHut won’t replace or fix it, Apple won’t because although”new” to me and sold to me as a “new” phone less than 5 months ago, it is actually more than 12 months old.
DO NOT SHOP HERE
Will keep this as short as possible, as I don’t want to give this company any more of my time. Ordered an iPad worth £350.
Their website states brand new UK stock - 1) if you dig deeper onto their website ie in the description of some items it says ‘like new condition’ aka second hand refurbished.. I think this is the case for all items 2) my item was coming from Hong Kong! So not UK at all.
I waited 10 working days for the item as stated by the company (due to coronavirus). Contacted them again and they said wait 20 working days as it was with DHL in Hong Kong. They then tell me to wait over a month from the date of order to see if it arrives (no good as was a present for a specific date). I contacted DHL who said they had not been given the physical parcel just the shipping information from the supplier. Thetablethub keep telling me they have given it to DHL. They tell me I can’t have a refund as it’s too late. So now I am minus £350 for 3+ weeks and a parcel that is still in Hong Kong and hasn’t even been given to the shipping company! Never mind that... I’m also clearly getting a second hand item from Hong Kong that was advertised as a brand new item from the UK!!!
Also beware of this stament on their website:
“ We only return the product is the product is defective. You can return a product for up to 14 days from the date you purchased it.”
^ This is illegal. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you are allowed to return an item if you simply change your mind with anything bought ONLINE. You have the right to cancel at any time from the moment you place your online order, and up to 14 days from the day you receive your goods. This is sometimes referred to as a ‘cooling-off period’.
After days of hassle and badgering the company they have agreed to cancel and refund the order. I’m yet to receive the funds and I’m still very skeptical. If I receive the funds I will take back all parts of this review apart from the fact that the items are fraudulently sold as UK and new.
Lies and fake products
Ordered 2 phones. Took 18 days to come, instead of the 5-7 promised. When the phones came I was also given a duty bill from DHL as the phones were from Hong Kong. Not told about this when purchased, I had expected products from the UK.
The Samsung S10 I ordered was defective, as a splash of water made it stop working, when it is meant to be water resistant.
When communicated to the guys in charge, Raj, he basically said that there's nothing we can do as the phone was fine when we sent it.
Stay well away from this place. Lure you in with cheap prices, but you pay for it much more later.
Goods not received.
Placed my order on 1st December, the website stated 5-7 days delivery. I have still not received my order and there has been no explanation of the delay.

Unfortunately the Samsung phone ordered arrived in the wrong colour - this couldn't be rectified. However, a full refund was made, as promised, but took a little while to get this fully sorted.
