I am new to The Teacher Project and I have had an amazing experience. It came at the right time! I want to have a bigger impact on more students- utilizing less time. Zach was the mastermind that launched me on the path to freedom. He helped me to fulfill an instruction my mentor, Bishop Womack- EL gave me five years ago. Elliot planted this seed in my mind years ago too. To these amazing men on my path to freedom: THANK YOU! To Melle - you are the best and thank you for believing in me!

I was able to create a profitable tutoring business with the help of The Teacher Project. I leaned how to set up every aspect of my business as well as how to get quality clients. The whole team was so supportive and knowledgeable, especially my coach, Nigel. I highly recommend The Teacher Project to anyone looking to utilize their passion for teaching to create their own business.

Over a month ago, I joined The Teacher Project’s program, and so far, it has been a fantastic experience.
I was initially hesitant because of the financial commitment, but after reading so many positive reviews, I decided to take the leap—and I’m glad I did.
The support has been top-notch, especially from my dedicated coach, who has been guiding me every step of the way.
The program itself is structured in a way that makes everything feel manageable. It walks you through the entire process of building a business—from developing an offer to marketing it effectively and making sales. Everything is broken down into clear, actionable steps, which makes it easy to follow.
This was exactly the kind of structured approach I needed. I recently launched my first ads, now just waiting on the results 🤞. Hoping to see leads and sales generate - and I’m excited to keep building from here

I cannot say enough positive things about this program, the individuals, and the way it has helped me get started on this brand new adventure! Jessica (my personal coach) is AMAZING! She has helped through so many different types of scenarios; bookings, wording, ads, and tech!! Plus! I have had assistance from so many members of the team with ads, web confusion, advice, and feedback to get the best opportunity for successful growth!!!! Having the opportunity to schedule appointments, watch live feedback, take the courses and as questions, as well as all of the course assistance.. has been GAME CHANGING for my launch!!!!

This is a big life changer. I can see the day that I will quit my teaching job to go on my own. It is not without work but there is such a big team that are helping us. We are never left alone so we can surf the harder part. My coach Jessie helped me have the confidence to scale and raise my price. On my way to my first 10K a month!
My only thing I would say is the small delay. I wish it would be longer to make sure we can learn from all the content available. But, I can understand because of the BIG team helping us to find the short cut to our goal.
I speak french and they have always been comprehensive with my big accent!!!
You will be always thankful if you trust yourself and go for it.

I’m 22 and make 20k/month!!
It’s step by step. You literally copy and paste the things they tell you into your business and you make money.
I made my first 20k month within 6 months of the program.
The people who rated 1 star are either lazy or have never used a computer... As I don’t see how you can get through the program and not get a result.

Having been self reliant for the past 50 years, my expectations might be considered unreasonable too most. Everyone I’ve encountered in TheTeacherProject has exceeded my needs and the experience has been supplemented with many unexpected acts of encouragement. In particular, coach Hanford has not only supported every challenge I’ve brought to him, he has anticipated future challenges and set up systems for me to succeed. His presence, patience and enthusiasm has me feeling very taken care of.

The sales pitch did not convince and the person who called seemed upset i didn’t watch the entire 30 minutes sales pitch. Bad vibes , just your critical thinking skills. We can all tell your reading a script and that is not authentic.

Do not waste your time, money or effort. They are scammers. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. The call was a bunch of baloney. It went around in circles, felt scripted, and was completely useless. I spoke to 2 different people and they both said the same thing and then when I asked to explain the numbers and cost breakdown, they got very defensive.
I did not understand how asking me which country I want to travel to, what month and how long, is part of a “sales call.”
I will NOT reevaluate my decision with this company and there was absolutely no transparency in any of my “tough questions.”
How does a tutor even make 100,000/month?! A top heart surgeon doctor doesn’t even make that and has 10+ years of schooling.

I've been an upper elementary school teacher for 8 years. I love education and had been thinking of other ways I could transition out of the classroom while still being in the education sector. I came across this program about a year ago and decided to jump in this year. I'm so glad I get to work with my coach, Kent, who has first hand experience on what it takes to be a successful tutoring business owner.
The modules in the program really walked us through every aspect of setting up this business. I'm 5 weeks in and have learned so much along with my husband and I know that this program will keep pushing me in areas I need to grow in. It hasn't been easy, but coach Kent along with all the community support have helped us so much. He has held us accountable and given us practical advice & encouragement every step of the way.
I made my first sale last Friday and I'm looking forward to putting in even more work in the upcoming months to make far more wins. I'm excited to keep growing and learning alongside the rest of the teachers in this program. I'm hopeful that all the hard work will pay off.

The Austin Impact Experience was just that-Impactful. To be in the same room with so much success, people who are where you want to be, and to be able to ask them questions, hear their stories, and and experience such growth was exponentially beneficially. It seemed like every minute their was gold business and mindset nugget to be taken from. But more than the tactical strategies, the energy and momentum, connection and networking was amazing. Everyone wants everyone to be successful, the genuine kindness and willingness to share was inspiring. What was more impressive is that they are great people, and are modeling a growth mindset and always willing to learn. Although most of the leaders are decades younger than me. "I want to be like them when I grow up". This experience was a game changer for me.

The Teacher Project has been an absolute game changer for me. I kid you not... I'm from the UK and was sooo fed up of classroom teaching; it was literally draining me and I was waking up every morning with no motivation and wanting to quit and so eventually I did.
I've been a part TTP since July of 2023 and honestly I can't ever see my self leaving lol. (Sorry Elliot, you're stuck with me lol).
There is so much nurturing and support available to grow and develop your business and business acumen. You can also develop your mindset which is key. They have every angle covered so there's no way you can fail.
Not too long ago I was on the rat race and not earning enough to make ends meet and today I work on my own terms and have tripled my teachers salary and we're still growing and expanding. I'm a single mother of 2 and whereas before it was a blow to budget when my son needed new football boots, today I can afford to send him on the school trips abroad - He's off to China in October!
A special shout out to my coach Rob who is absolutely amazing and has given me the pep talks when needed as well as specialist knowledge in order to continue to develop my business. Everyone is great and I couldn't ask for a better group of people to surround myself with.
Very grateful to everyone at the TTP. Thank you for helping me build my dream life!!!!

I've been in the Teacher Project since December and thought this event might be a little advanced for me. But it was fantastic! Up to now, all my communication had been online, which is totally fine (the whole project is about running an online tutoring business). But being able to meet the coaches and interact with them in-person was totally worthwhile. There were really good workshops throughout, but being able to take what you've just learned and dig in to your own business with the coaches is another level. You can't not work on your business, because the coaches would just come up to you and say, "Tell me what your biggest constraints are." And then you just start mapping it out.
Anyone who is on the fence about these live in-person events should definitely go at least once. There is a cost to attend, but it's an investment in the company you're trying to build. There's also a cool social aspect in meeting others like you that motivated and encouraged me to "get back to work" as soon as it was over.

I recently attended the Teacher Project Austin 2025 Meeting and it was excellent. The meeting involved about 25-30 members of the "Impact" Group, which is the more advanced group within the Teacher Project. This meeting was both social and business oriented, and delved into the details of forming a business where you hire other tutors. Overall, a very good experience.

I am happy to give my feedback and testimonial for The Teacher Project (TTP). First, I would like to frame it around WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. Hopefully, you'll understand why I say what I say:
I desperately wanted to amplify my current business. My current business already does about 800K in sales, but I wanted to go further. I came across Elliott Phillips stating that he could help with creation of a $$$$ Tutor business. Well, as an educator by training, it felt natural: THE PERFECT BUSINESS. I reached out to a previous participant in the Students On Demand (which is one of TTP programs), his name is Zach. Zach runs a successful Math Tutoring Business now. I wanted to get first-hand feedback from someone who had done the program. I needed the REAL deal feedback. The way that Zach talked about the program and the success he had was refreshing and motivating all at the same time. Zach, a brilliant business man--and a genius tutor (and like just all around amazing guy...I think he is finishing up his Ph.D). However, Zach's comments and information was so insightful I was SOLD. What Zach said that was impactful is that the guidance and support within the program is really a bolstering feature. He mentioned how the program is a guide and a blueprint. The blueprint though is so thorough that it saves you thousands upon thousands in terms of money, but more importantly, if followed: it saves you time! Now, that is an invaluable value added. Nevertheless, folks still need to do the work. The program, he expressed, is the roadmap. BOOM! I enrolled.
Once I started in the program, I was paired up with Coach Nigel. Another BOOM! I couldn't have gotten a more knowledgable and helpful personal mentor. It's so funny because, at first, I thought I would be working only with Elliott Phillips--the founder. However, duh..he can't take on thousands of clients and work 1 on 1 with them. That is literally impossible, furthermore, it wouldn't make sense. We get into this so that we can have some FREEDOM not so that we spend every waking day talking to customers who need hand-holding (like me :-), because oh boy did I need lots of help). Here is the thing though, I have gotten just that with my personal coach Nigel. To be honest, I think my coach is even better than if I would have been paired up with TTP's founder himself (just joking here). On a serious note, I am just grateful that I have such an experienced coach like Nigel because he has not only done the program himself, but he understands every single thing that I am experiencing--in terms of real life application. He is a business owner himself. So his feedback and guidance is not just theory...it is successful application and tried and true consulting. Just for illustration, I was debating working with a potential client and how to make it work. Nigel said, "Hey Shawn don't forget this is your business. The goal here is to provide your clients with the right experience. Sometimes that might mean making certain adjustments to accommodate them, especially if that means you gain a client." You see, I had gotten so bogged down into trying to work the program as directed that I got inflexible (we're talking about my price point and pay terms here). He freed me up in that one moment and it actually led me to my first client. More than that, it taught me an important business principle: make the deal that makes cents (lol). I mean that might seem small to some folks who already do that consistently. My point is that these are real folks helping real people and THAT's what I love about it. The other refreshing thing is I appreciate how well Nigel knows this stuff. LOL at times he just remotes in and helps me push the buttons I need to push or sets things in the right places--and not being super tech savvy I actually appreciate that. I could go on and on....like I could mention how much I love the teamwork in TTP too. For example, I had a question once and while I was waiting for my coach to hop on our personal call, Jessica (another coach) addressed my answer. WOW! Shhh! It's almost like I get 3 for 1. I mean all these folks jumping in and helping little ole me. And let me tell you, even Jessica is a BRILLIANT mastermind. She too has her own business and the feedback she gave me at the drop of dime was worth $$$. Another BOOM!
So, in closing, I am just grateful and happy I did this program. It's only been like a month or so and I already have 4 new customers that have registered for my program, i have SOO many leads that I need to follow up with RIGHT now (so I need to end this testimonial at some point LOL) and I also have a functioning addition to my business.
Negative feedback: I need more time in the program! MAKE IT LONGER. LOL :)
Well, that's all for now. If anyone has questions just call me: 202-486-4237. Happy to give you my honest thoughts.

I was a little nervous about the entire Teacher Project in the beginning. Speaking with Melle and Zach as well as the entire community through the community, my nervousness has been wiped away. I am already feeling confident in this new craft and seeing that the fears I have had were nothing in comparison to this journey. I can't thank them enough for the hard work and assistance that they have helped with to get this business off the ground.

Be very careful before investing any money into these programs, and make sure to read the dozens of real 1-star reviews (not the paid/fake 5-star reviews). The responses, (or lack of) to lots of these 1-star reviews should tell you all you need to know about investing. In short - Do not do it!
Why would so many people have an axe to grind in so many different areas if these guys truly did what they said? As they get more desperate, they continue to double down on their 'claims' and so-called 'achievements', which are sadly conflated at best, and downright dishonest at worst.
It's such a shame that lots of amazing teachers are targeted for at least 5k USD+, with no real support or expertise, especially as most of the team have virtually no expertise in education/teaching. All of this 'flexing' equates to flashy gimmicks, designed to rope in more teachers to 'invest' in the hype.
As many others have already seen through with the "best-selling" 'book' (glorified sales pitch), a little money spent on Fiverr or Upwork can easily get you a paid 'best-selling book'. As you can see from the reviews, the content is poor, quality is poor, and seems in parts to be AI-generated. With a simple Google search, you too can see how easy it is to have a 'best seller'.
Also regarding their features in 'many news outlets', it's laughable to claim that "...Who of course would not be publishing articles about companies that weren’t legit". The London Daily Post and Yahoo Finance are simply put - Fake Media, a place for Business owners to pay for articles about themselves to make themselves appear 'legit', all for about $500 - chump change to a company that regularly charges $5k + USD to its suckers.
Also, would you like to be featured on a billboard in Times Square? It's easy. Just pay $150 to be featured!
I am confused by the quote: "Regarding the Nasdaq feature, while promotional opportunities exist, being featured in such a high-visibility location is still an accomplishment we’re proud of." What are you saying here? - You are proud to have paid for a billboard at Times Square to look good and promote yourselves?
So, why would anyone want to invest in a company that acts in such a deceitful and unethical way? These marketing tricks are simply smoke and mirrors, masking the lack of real knowledge, expertise, background, or success in teaching or education.
These areas of deficiency could be addressed with the right investment or the right people, but the priorities of the company seemingly lie in paid book sales/reviews on Amazon, paid Trustpilot reviews, paid news articles on Yahoo and London Daily Post, paid billboard features, and in-person events.
They also claim they have helped thousands of teachers, with 'many' making 10k+ per month. Many have asked many times for an exact percentage of teachers who invested in the program achieving this, with verifiable accounts/data to support. However, when asked for this - There was no response, teachers were kicked out of groups, they were blamed and received nasty replies like the one here.
This is only a snippet of the misinformation, deceit, lies, and poor experience many teachers have faced, and debunking these many apparent impressive claims and achievements should tell you everything you need to know. Avoid it at all costs!

Response to the Reply:
"It’s clear that this review was written by someone who has never been a client..." Wrong! I was a client, and no one (including the dozens of others who wrote 1-star reviews) in their right mind would spend time writing a bogus negative review for no reason at all.
"We’ve seen you repeatedly create new accounts to post similar reviews...". - Wrong again. Please provide proof if this is the case.
"For anyone reading this, let’s be real: why would anyone trust an anonymous 1-star review from someone who has never been through our program..." - Wrong yet again. It's not just 1 review, it's dozens. I have been through your program, and your marketing is proof that you are far from legitimate.
"The Teacher Project holds Trustpilot’s Excellent Rating" - Largely through staff and paid reviews, many even follow a very similar script, style, timing, and format.
"Teachers show their success publicly," - So, what percentage of the 'thousands' of teachers you have worked with have done this? State it publicly.
"As for the ridiculous claims in this review—about books, billboards, and media features." - So state publicly that you 100% never paid for any of these features, reviews, or articles. You can't.
"We actually do what we teach" - So why are there so many unhappy clients? And why are there so many who feel duped, cheated, and conned?
"We don’t waste time responding to baseless, jealous rants like this" - So why are you responding? and providing no answers?

I can’t thank The Teacher Project enough for helping me build my tutoring company from the ground up and land my very first student! Their guidance has been truly game-changing.
A special shoutout to my mentor, Zach Boykin, who introduced me to his "organic marketing" strategy. By joining relevant social media groups and consistently posting free, high-quality content in my own group, I’ve been able to showcase my expertise. This has led to parents reaching out and asking for my tutoring services—and it’s been working amazingly well!
If you’re an educator looking to grow your tutoring business in a sustainable, effective way, I highly recommend working with The Teacher Project. Their insights and support are invaluable!

I am having an amazing experience at The Teacher Project. A wonderful aspect of the program is the training website. It has training that guides us step-by-step on tech and ad creation. There is also a community page to share where we are in our journey. By far the best aspect of the program is having a personal coach that pushes us to be successful. My coach Hanford has helped me understand and apply the training immediately. The tech support team also helps us review our work and provide even more feedback. The many opportunities provided to us make The Teacher Project the ideal program if you are looking for guidance on all things online teaching business.

Without The Teacher Project I would not have known where to start with all of this! I would not have made nearly as much progress, had nearly as much confidence, or as much support as I have with them. I love having the guided walkthrough videos bringing me through each step of what I should be doing, and having calls with my coach are super helpful! I haven't joined a coworking session yet, but I'm looking forward to doing that soon! I have already figured out what I'm offering, my pricing structure, my business name, program title, and more. I have also already set up my business Facebook Page and Instagram Account, and it has only been about a week of starting this full time. I'm so excited to start launching ads and getting students enrolled!
