Total Scam

Total Scam - Beware - To get a free retest you have to pass the hazard perception part of the test together with other requirements which they do not make clear when you book (even if they are in their terms and conditions) they are NOT transparent. Instead go to the government website and book a test for £23!

Just been scammed

Just been scammed! I tried to book a theory test for my cousin, over the weekend and received a email that he did not qualify. The email specifically told me to contact DVSA before they would proceed with my order.
We decided not to proceed with this order.

Imagine my shock when I just checked my banking to find out that they still withdrew 43.00 pounds from my account yesterday without my consent and notification!!
I wanted to call their office straightaway and very concerned they don't even have a customer call number.! Very angry, upset and would like an immediate refund of my money.

SCAM!!

SCAM!!! I paid for unlimited tests for my son. He failed first time so I went to re-book. I was not allowed as I did not do the online tests provided by them even though I knew nothing about the online tests until after my son failed!! He was doing his practice tests on official dvla apps, websites and dvds!
Do not purchase from this site. They take your money and do not honour their agreements! This site should be shut down immediately! Taking money off innocent people is disgusting

Scam, scam, scam

Scam, scam, scam.
Shameful company. Charge double for 1 test. Total lie about unlimited tests.
Look in the T's & C's and the contact details are hidden there - along with the truth that there's no way to get a free re-sit

PLEASE BE AWARE

PLEASE BE AWARE. SCAM

On visiting the site, you will See in big headlines,
"FREE UNLIMITED RETESTS *
What this means is that if you fail the hazard perception test, you HAVE to pay for the retest,
here is 4.4 of the terms and conditions

4.4 You will not be entitled to the free retest if you failed the hazard perception part of the theory test and all retests must be paid for in full.

This is the part of the test that everyone has trouble with. And they KNOW IT.
Another part of this scam is the cancellation fee, a whopping £20.
Who the hell in this day and age charges £20 just to cancel an appointment?
Please avoid this shameless company, I honestly feel ripped off.
thetheorytest.co.uk come at me, COME AT ME with an explanation.
I am going to make it my mission to carry this on further, and let other people know, the ratings on trustpilot should set alarms bells ringing.

Just returned from the test centre to…

Just returned from the test centre to find out that despite taking £45 from my daughters account her test inst booked. There is no one to contact directly with any ease and when you do they just pass you to the gov.uk team. I can see here they don't even bother to defend themselves and their actions that are leaving 17 year olds out of pocket. Complete scammers and need closing down.

Apsolutely awful expierence! Scammers!!

Apsolutely awful expierence! I booked my test through this website, of which looked legitimate, costing me a rather large sum of £45, almost double what the Government website are charging. I thought this was just due to the fact there’s unlimited resits right? Wrong. Much to my surprise, these scammers had cancelled my test, but still taken my money, sending me no confirmation email or a refund of which they are legally obligated to do. The worst part was my test was tomorrow! Luckily I didn’t not know where the place was so I checked on the website, otherwise I would be standing there, missing a vital mock exam at college. They don’t have a contact number either so have emailed with no reply. No doubt I called the DVSA asking what they could do, and obviously they couldn’t do anything. So thanks to these apsolutely atrocious people, I’ve lost a weeks wages. Not fair. Avoid at all costs. I will be reporting these people, as we can easily track their address!

AVOID!!!

AVOID!!!
I regret I read all the reviews after booking. Cancelation fee is £20 which is just RIDICULESS! Also, no phone number or even an e-mail address!!!
Ensure you check your dates as the e-mail with confirmation had different dates than I booked for.
This was the 1st website that pop out on Google when I tried to book the theory test for my husband and the only reason I used it.
After reading all the reviews I'm already afraid there will be problems with rebooking the test if he fails the first one...

What a rip off

What a rip off. It's a huge scam, don't go near it. The terms and conditions make it next to impossible to get a retest, or for you to get your money back.
