The Final Boss of Mental Health

The way the company is coordinated is entirely incompetent. They try to meet up with their flaws by using things that are undeniably worse and try to sugarcoat it with using fake money as an incentive for kids to learn. Not only is a company attempting to be ran with English as the central language by people who only know how to speak Chinese a bad idea, it also really downgrades the QOL and the quality of the learning being displayed. Not only that, instead of being simple (which is arguably better) and using more common apps to run their classes such as Zoom, they had the idea to make their own complex incomprehensible app and advertise it across chinese platforms by using Chat-GPT-generated paragraphs that undermine the image they're trying to support. On top of all of that, they're really a bit too nosy; not in a doxxing way, but more in the way that they expect you to be working every single day for unrealistic amount of times (mainly for students). Their classes are also exponentially boring; only 1% of the people they hire make it interesting and overall they try to make it interesting by installing their own "games" into the system and let kids play them for 5 seconds out of a few hours which overall makes them seem like tryhards. And can we talk about the quality of the education they're providing? Not only are they every day coming up with an extensive assignment for you to do to make their workers feel "needed", considering how most of their workers are clearly unfluent when it comes to English, instead of even trying to use google translate, they attempt to write all the math questions IN english, which ends up being grammatically incorrect 99% of the time and is an absolute eyesore to even view. Now "on paper" these things individually may not sound so bad, but overall, in the greater perspective, if you put all of these together, it ends up being the most mentally crushing, infuriating, and incompetent thing you may ever lay your eyes on.

My son

My son, Jake, used to struggle with math, especially with basic addition and subtraction. Since starting Think Academy, I’ve seen a remarkable change. For example, during a family game night, we played a math-based board game, and he was able to quickly add up scores without any help! The engaging lessons on the platform have really helped him build a solid foundation, and I love that he’s applying those skills in a fun environment.

I was worried about my daughter Mia’s struggle with math, especially after she had a difficult semester. Think Academy turned out to be exactly what we needed. The personalized approach meant Mia could work at her own pace and revisit difficult topics without pressure. I vividly remember a session where her teacher used a fun game to teach fractions, and Mia was so engaged she didn’t want the class to end. The improvement in her grades and her positive attitude towards math have been incredible. It’s such a relief to see her so motivated.

DO NOT TRUST THEIR SOFTWARE

DO NOT TRUST THEIR SOFTWARE
their software is very sketchy. it spies on your computer. the teachers can see the contents on your computer, and they will message you scarily when you are on another app, such as spotify to listen to music. they will tell you they know you are on another app, and i dont feel much privacy. it also spies on your webcam! what a surprise! when you turn the camera off in the app, your camera will remain on and will still have power. they are spying on you, and they keep track of everything. your mic is also always on, unless you have a mic switch on your computer. you can get cold called on at any time, even if you dont raise your hand. the instant you get called, your mic activates and everyone in the class can hear you. this is a huge privacy concern, especially if you dont feel safe about letting people hear your home. did i mention theres no way to turn off this feature? speaking of the software, it is very low quality and seems very rushed, just like the textbooks. the software has built in emojis to use in the chatbox, but they are very limited, and use ios emojis no matter which operating system you're using. the chat also has a moderation filter, which sounds good right? wrong. it never actually blocks any dirty content. ive seen people make racist jokes in the chat before, unfiltered. when you type the word "trapezoid", it gets blocked. this is because it contains the word "r3pe". however, "trapezoid" is an important word in the classes, but you cant say it in the chat! you cant say "it sbetter" for some reason, and so much more. now, with that out of the way, here are some easter eggs in the software:
1. the entire app is just an html document (local website) complied with vue.js. the app is stored in an asar file, which is very low quality. this also causes the app to run extremely slow.
2. you can use developer tools anytime in the app, using the keyboard shortcut ctrl + shift + i
3. you can exit fullscreen while in a classroom using the f11 key
4. you have the option to switch devices for audio and video while in class, so go wild with it; you can use virtual cameras and microphones or just switch your mic to a dead device to prevent getting spied on
5. at the beginning of class, the teacher will play a really loud and annoying sound to signal that the class is starting; its a great idea, but its an extremely loud sound, kills your eardrums, and it sounds very childish

the textbooks also have a ton of typos. some information is very inaccurate. it is written by foreign people, so the grammar in the books are poor. the text formatting and fonts are inconsistent and hard to look at. explanations are very unclear. teachers have heavy accents and are not very helpful.

thats about it! enjoy your experience!

My 9-year-old and I recently enrolled in a trial math program at Think Academy, and I'm really happy with the outcome. The teacher was kind and considerate from the start, making sure to meet my child's individual requirements. His comprehension of arithmetic topics and confidence have both significantly improved as of late. All things considered, Think Academy has helped my youngster enjoy learning math instead of detesting it as a subject.

I am really pleased with Think Academy…

I am really pleased with Think Academy for my daughter. She used to have trouble with her arithmetic homework and would frequently give up in frustration. That has completely altered since I started at Think Academy. She would never have tried to solve a difficult problem on her own, but one evening she came home thrilled about having done it. The teachers excel at simplifying difficult ideas into manageable stages for her to follow. Her academic performance has also improved as a result of her increased confidence. These days, arithmetic is something she looks forward to rather than a cause of stress. It's incredible to witness her enthusiasm for education.

The only arithmetic curriculum that has…

The only arithmetic curriculum that has proven effective for all four of my children—from advanced learners to struggling—learners is Think Academy. The curriculum is ideal for our children because it is both demanding and approachable. The lessons are perfect for laying a solid mathematical foundation. The lectures are through but succinct, simplifying difficult idea so that young minds can understand them. Instant tutoring is offered for struggling students, and it has been a lifesaver. Because of Think Academy's solid foundation, both of my children have now succeeded in their elementary and middle school math studies. Strongly advised for any parent wishing to improve their child's mathematical abilities.

Before we tried Think Academy for my 8-year-old daughter,I had some doubts about online math courses. She approached math problems with excitement during the trial lesson , rather than the typical irritation, and I noticed her eyes light up. The instructor was excellent _kind, interesting, and able to make difficult subjects enjoyable. Unlike how we usually struggle with homework,my daughter really looks forward to her math lessons these days. One evening, when we were baking cookies, she even confidently converted measurements to demonstrate her newfound arithmetic prowess! It's incredible to watch how she uses what she learns in real life. We may now both enjoy and feel less stressed while we study math thanks to Think Academy . Try it out if you're searching for a method to make learning enjoyable and successful!

My kids recently had a trial class with a young and energetic American teacher at Think Academy, who was incredibly friendly and lively. She captured the kids' attention immediately and knew how to keep them actively engaged throughout the class. Even though my kids' English skills are limited and they are usually quite shy, they were completely animated during the entire lesson. They started off with simple nods and shakes, but soon they were speaking English confidently. I was amazed because I had initially informed the teacher that my children were new immigrants and not fluent in English. My worries were unfounded as my kids were fully immersed and even competing for control of the computer by the end of the class. The course design at Think Academy is truly captivating. They are genuinely learning math, not just playing games or watching cartoons. This particular lesson incorporated short animated clips to introduce the concepts of circles, rounds, and squares, making it instantly engaging for my kids. The content was closely related to everyday life, which I believe helps in applying what they learn more effectively. The teacher also motivated the kids by rewarding them with gold coins for answering questions, which can be redeemed for real gifts through their app. My kids are already excited about earning enough coins to get their hands on some rewards. The classes are incredibly fun and have exceeded my expectations.

Think Academy's focus on critical thinking and problem-solving skills has made a big difference for my son. The teachers don't just teach him how to solve problem; they help him understand the logic behind each solution. This has really helped him approach math with a more logical mindset. I've seen a big improvement in his grades and his confidence in tackling challenges.

I never thought learning math could be so interesting until my daughter started taking Think Academy courses. Their focus on solving real-would problems is fantastic. She enjoys applying math concepts to real-life situations, making learning relevant and exciting. For instance, a recent class had students design their own miniature gardens, calculating area and perimeter to ensure everything fit perfectly. These hands-on activities have transformed math from just another subject into a useful and enjoyable tool for her.

Excellent Program

My son has been with Think Academy for past three years starting from his 2nd grade. I am so impressed by the amazing teachers and well planed program. Think Academy offers four different difficulty level classes for the same grade. I remembered when my son first started his study at Think he even struggled with lower level class. Not long he had already progressed to the advanced level of class. The school test also proved that his math grade has greatly improved. By the end of his 3rd grade, his school standardized test showed his math skills equivalent to to the 6th grade level. Think Academy’s class is well designed to motivate the kids to learn. My son has benefited from its unique curriculum and ample practice materials.
