Professional and caring
Professional and caring. I am very anxious about my tinnitus and the staff are all very warm, helpful and make you feel supported and valued. It's a shame it's not accessible to all (I am fortunate to have private cover through work). There are no doubt 100s of people not getting proper support because they are unable to access this service!

The quality of care and understanding…
The quality of care and understanding of the management of Tinnitus Clinic is of the very highest order. This creates a high degree of comfort for the patient in dealing with this hearing issue.
Highly recommend Lenire treatment at The Tinnitus Clinic!
I am 3 months in to my Lenire treatment and I can already see a change. I am able to forget about it more often, feeling a lot calmer and I am sleeping a lot better. I want to complete the 6 months and hopefully look forward to seeing more positive changes.
I am so thankful to the Tinnitus Clinic…
I am so thankful to the Tinnitus Clinic team for helping me with my tinnitus. I have had tinnitus for over 6 years and I have been seen by so many different people to try and get some help with the roaring. Having seen 4 ENT doctors, having a gazillion hearing tests and being told to manage it myself as it will go away one day. Some have tried to make me buy a hearing aid even when I don't have a hearing loss and I even tried a white noise machine. Nothing had helped so far until I tried the desensitisation treatment. Initially I was sceptical as they said it could take 3-6months until I would see a change, 2months in and it was the same. Having done the treatment for 7months now I can say that there has been a reduction and although I still hear it, it is much easier to live with. I now no longer need to be listening to podcasts to help me fall asleep and it has made me feel more at ease. The noise that my Audiologist has made for my ears is very soothing and it has been created for me and my tinnitus which is encouraging.
I still have a way to go with the treatment but I can see small steps making my life a lot easier.

I saw a clinician a few months ago and was prescribed "TDT". The clinician was very helpful and extremely considerate and I am pleased to report that my tinnitus is gradually improving. I am now much more relaxed about my tinnitus and feel that I am back in control. The tinnitus seems to be fading away . Thank you.
The there is an NHS option
I had an initial consultation with the tinnitus clinic in July . I had experienced a severe flare in my tinnitus that I had been able to manage for 8 years . The audiologist was empathetic and offered tinnitus retraining as an option . I had a hearing test that was done in a room with a fan whirring in the background and rather than a button to press when I heard the noise I had to say yes . I have since had audiology done in soundproofed rooms and the results were hugely different from the one done at the tinnitus clinic . I have since been to an NHS tinnitus clinic where I will be getting tinnitus retraining therapy at no cost . It may take a little time to get seen but the nhs will offer treatment (not lenire ) to tinnitus patients
Highly recommended for tinnitus sufferers
I visited the clinic today for advice on the tinnitus that I'm experiencing. The hearing assessment was thorough and I received some very solid advice on managing the tinnitus from Mr Williams.
I left the clinic feeling more positive and optimistic than I have in a long time.
Thank you
No point in paying thousands of pounds
No point in paying thousands of pounds, I got mine from the NHS twice has good and cost me nothing, adjustments free and free upgrades.
The Tinnitus Clinic
I’ve attended tinnitus Clinic and it helped me with my tinnitus. I was treated with TDT and now I cant live without it. My condition is not gone, but it definitely improved, Im less aware of it, became more tolerable, it doesn’t bother me anymore. I feel a big difference before TDT treatment and now after it. Im grateful to my audiologist Mrs Shamim Patel for her kindness, optimism and work. I highly reccomend this Clinic to everyone who’s looking for relief.
Warning for musicians.
I'm a musician with noise related tinnitus. I haven't managed to find any testimonials, either on their website or elsewhere, from musicians with noise related tinnitus. I called and left several messages on their answering machine, neither of which received a reply. When I eventually managed to get through on the phone to ask why no-one from the largest group of tinnitus sufferers in the uk are represented in their testimonials and if I can deduce from this that they're not really able to help someone in my position they refused to answer , saying I'd have to fork out £200 and travel to London to find out. They took my email and phone number saying they'd try to find some relevant testimonials and, nearly a week later I've heard nothing. So, in conclusion, I would recommend that musicians with noise related tinnitus avoid this lot completely and if you've recently developed tinnitus for whatever reason I suggest giving yourself a little time to acclimatise to the noise before forking out any money. In most cases you can acclimatise fairly quickly to the extent that it rarely, if ever, bothers you any more. Good luck everyone, and if you're un-sure about the credibility of the tinnitus clinic I would strongly recommend that you assume they're the charlatans I believe them to be.
****I'm editing this review to take into account the response I've received from the clinic.
1) Three of the four sentences in your reply have errors in them.
2) Apart from being very patronising, to apologise for not being able to provide a single instance of having helped a musician with noise related tinnitus is tantamount to admitting that my previous criticisms are well founded.
3) Despite points 1 and 2 you still think I'M going to contact YOU again to spend seventy quid to talk to one of your quacks for twenty minutes?
Zero stars for your response.Feel to reply again if you wish but I think you've dug yourself a big enough hole already haven't you?.
In conclusion, I suggest getting in touch with the charity Tinnitus UK on 0800 018 0527. I only contacted them earlier today and I've already received great advice and care. For nothing.

I attended the Tinnitus clinic with a high level of discomfort. From the start Shamim Patel was calm, realistic and practical. Every step of the way I felt supported. The results have been good and my distress level in relation to the tinnitus has significantly reduced. I would definitely recommend the clinic to anyone looking for relief.
Very helpful and knowledgeable doctor
Very helpful and knowledgeable doctor . i look forward to taking the next steps. Recommended.
Average customer service
The level of customer service I have received from the clinic has been generally good. And the Livio 1600 hearing aids, when working, have been excellent and certainly help to deal with the tinnitus. However, the aids have developed three faults in the first 18 months, each time needing specialist repair. This is stressful and difficult to deal with, as I am heavily dependent on the aids. As they cost £2000, I have approached the clinic twice now for compensation, and have been rejected each time. All things considered the clinic doesn't deserve any more than a 3 star rating
So £70 for a 18 minute phone call…
So £70 for a 18 minute phone call (which they tried to rebook twice) and was basically given information i had already read on Google so well worth it?
Depite this i proceeded to book to see one of the consultants in Manchester a few weeks later.
I can only describe this as the most unprofessional Medical (not a real Dr) appointment i have ever experienced and could only find myself laughing as i drove 80 miles home.
So with no internet for around 25 minutes which was required to complete hearing tests, i was offered a load of babble about nothing. A hearing test later im assured my hearing is fine and the issue will probably go away. This was both free at Boots and my Dr but as a Tinnitus specialist Clinic i felt confident i would be offered more.
On the morning of the appointment i could not get in touch with the office as nobody was answering the phone (2 minutes before appointment 10am) and i received a call to move the appointment once again.
Please consider very carefully about paying these guys your money as im 100% sure they hide behind the "no Tinnitus cure" and are a very basic setup.
A good all round experience
A good all round experience, I made enquiries everywhere but felt though the NHS tried to help, they just didn’t have the time or resources to fully be able. I have one sided tinnitus we are not sure of the course but believe it was trauma, the problem was it suddenly got louder, it was all consuming for 2 week period, I really could not function. I’m sure most of you have had similar experiences. Anyway booking an appointment with Marta to see the audiologist Mark Williams in London was easy, we turned up and discussed my issues and went through everything in much more detail then the NHS can delve due to time constraints, I suppose that is what you are playing for, so for me it as worth the money. I actually had to push the very nice audiologist to recommend some equipment as I didn’t necessarily meet all the criteria to be prescribe something, I think that says it all really, no hard sell etc. In a nutshell I was happy to have the experience and quote from them, now I have that which is vailed for 3 months as a backup if required. It is a costly service and that is the only reason I will give 4 starts, plus I've not used/had the equipment, if I were to purchase and it helped I'd obviously give a 5* review. I felt tat there service was very much needed at he time and gave me peace of mind.
Awful experience avoid at all costa

The audiologists and counsellor are fantastic, however it's hard to get an appointment. Particularly for CBT. The hearing aids are brilliant, however there's lots of products, for instance, the sleep band, that I don't rate highly. I think it's worth the money to feel that you are addressing your tinnitus though.
