Shortly after registering a .us domain, I began receiving unsolicited outreach from The Weblog referencing the exact domain name I had just purchased. The message included a shortened link and a prompt to “get your website live.”

Because .us domains require public WHOIS information, it appears my registration details were scraped and used for marketing purposes.

I did not request contact, I have no prior relationship with this company, and I do not appreciate being targeted immediately after registering a domain. This type of aggressive lead harvesting creates unnecessary spam and undermines trust.

If you register a domain that requires public information, be aware that your details may be quickly collected and used for unsolicited sales outreach.

This company is nothing but a scam . They created my website a year ago and every quarter my site goes down and I have to threaten to contact a lawyer to to get my site back up and they try to tell me I need to purchase this and that to secure it from going down. then they lied that I had to renew my domain every year even though I paid for it for 3 yrs. They are very unethical by yelling, hanging up the phone because I refuse to give them more money ! I am so over them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

I don't leave reviews often but hoping this can help a small business owner. Using The Weblogy to design my gorgeous website worst decision I ever made!
They built me a website that is pretty but has literallygiven me problems every quarter I release my quarterly memberships.Every quarter I have to ask clients to be patient while I speak to my web developing team. I have lost sales, God knows how many new potential clients I have lost, my site is constantly down, I paid premium for security and now my site is filled with viruses and malware. I have given them 1 year and 6 months to "get it together". They keep upcharging me "you need this, you need that, then your site will work flawlessly" and problems keep arising. Do not use this company if you value your hard earned money and clients.

In 2022 I hired Theweblogy of Bakersfield Ca. to create my web site. The process was slow, inefficient and sloppy, they created simple web site after approximately 1.5 months.
For my contact through web site, I am using my Gmail.
Weblogy required my Google credentials, they claimed this is necessary to be able to create web site. I hesitated but finally submitted my username and password for Google account.
30 seconds later I received security e mail from Google. Someone in Pakistan logged into my Google account. I immediately changed my Google credentials.
To mee it appears that Theweblogy is running one legitimate and one nonlegitimate business, extracting people’s credentials.
The web site never worked OK. I was not able to edit web site, and pages were overlapping and so on and on. After dozens and dozens of e mails, Theweblogy/Shane never fixed my web site. These people are crooks, they intentionally infected my web site, I guess, and required me to purchase maintenance subscription for web site. They are blaming problems to my web site host IONOS, and IONOS is claiming that Theweblogy is to blame.
All in all, I am recommending not using Theweblogy for your web site and other IT needs.
