The White Horse in Thruxton is absolutely buzzing!
When owners Maureen and Luke opened the pub in June 2025, they clearly had a vision: exceptional food, a strong sense of community, and a calendar packed with exciting events. It's safe to say they've delivered on all three.
My husband and I have had the pleasure of providing the entertainment for their Texas Hoedown events in both 2025 and 2026. I teach line dancing, and my husband performs live music. The White Horse has quickly become one of our favourite venues because it feels like a genuine community hub. On both occasions, the place was packed with people having a fantastic time.
The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the food has been consistently delicious. You can tell that Maureen and Luke genuinely care about creating an outstanding experience for every guest.

We'd also highly recommend staying at the hotel. Our room was comfortable, the bed was excellent, and the fluffy white pillows made for a great night's sleep.
