Grumpy sock company
I bought alpaca bed socks for my wife as a gift while she was recovering from an operation. She wore them to keep her feet warm for 2-3 days, mostly with her feet up, not heavy use at all. Surprisingly they developed holes on both socks so I asked for a refund. They made me pay to return them and then told me it was “use error” but would send me a replacement pair but not refund postage. This was clearly nonsense and after some back and forth I got a refund and the return postage which was my right, only after initiating chargeback proceedings. Throughout the whole returns process Martin was grumpy, sarcastic and unhelpful. I feel sorry for all the people that have to work with him.
