Absolutely worth it
Great lessons in a simple but very understandable way
I wanted to learn Music Theory to help my orchestral compositions
I wanted to learn Music Theory to help with my hobbie of composing orchestral music. I have no music background whatsoever, but music gives me joy.
So did the Music Theory course. It was fun, ruthlessly effective and dirt. cheap. You can't ask for anything more. ThinkSpace Education made music accessible - the lessons I learned from them are the basis for every composition I make. Thank you, ThinkSpace!
Very good study material
Very good study material. The fact that I can watch the lessons offline is a gamechanger for me. I have nothing but good experiences with the various courses I bought. Great value for the money.

The ThinkSpace course on writing Trailer music is highly addictive and interesting. Having said that, the last section on mixing does take a bit of getting your head around if your not used to it.
All in all a very good course.
Highly Recommended.
Best online learning experience I have ever had
This was an amazing learning experience, probably one of the best I've had in my experience.
Not only is Guy Michelmore extremely knowledgable about the subjects he explains, but he is also very energetic, funny and extremely well versed in explaining things, making for an excellent mix of teaching while keeping people engaged, in subjects that could otherwise very easily become boring if not taught by the right person.
Great course experience
Great video tutorials, great explanations, great experience. I purchased the "how to write music" course, and taking my time to learn the process of creating was exactly what I needed to get my creative skills going. Looking forward to the next short course. Thank you!

Guy Michelmore has created a comprehensive course for music production. it was very easy to learn and do at my own pace.
Worthwhile
Very clever teaching style. Enables a beginner to break into the subject with a degree of enthusiasm for it.
Friendly
Friendly, down to earth lessons without pressure. I still have much of the course to complete but will do as time permits... Especially nice not being bombarded with offers for other courses etc. Relaxed learning at a very fair price. Thank you.
Absolutely love Guy's courses
Absolutely love Guy's courses. Informative, clear and easy presentation style. Ive learned so much, well beyond what I expected. With life access to the completed courses, you can dip back in for a refresher too.

I found the course to be very helpful with a good mix of video and written material. Guy is a great teacher and his enthusiasm and passion for music is very contagious. He is very entertaining but does get the message across. It has been said many times that music theory is boring. However, this course is definitely not boring and Guy gives tons of examples to bring the theory to life. I’m a guitarist but some of the examples here have made me hanker to buy a keyboard and give it go. Overall, this is a great course that I would recommend to anyone looking to learn music theory.

I've been doing the music theory course. I mean...it's GUY....how could anyone not love the..dude? He's funny, he's British, he's even kinda handsome (I swear, not being paid)... but most importantly he is a really good teacher who can put himself in the student's position. And he's really great at talking to the camera in a personal way. His youtube videos are great too and are what led me here. The courses are for those who really want to dig in deeper. I'm finally learning music theory. And it's not as complicated as I thought. Thanks ThinkSpace, and thank you Guy.
Very easy to follow these platform
Very easy to follow these platform, everything very clear and a lot of information to learn
Older beginner piano student
I’m a beginner piano student and after attempting theory the ‘traditional’ way I chose to do a deep dive with Guy instead. I watched the YouTube free course and knew right away that Guy’s approach would be more accessible and easier for me to understand. I’m halfway through - money well spent. Could not have achieved this level of understanding from a book, and at the hourly rate for a good teacher - we’ll, I may have made it this far, but the cost would have been staggering. Very happy with the course.
It's the humours that makes me go for it
Engaging course
Engaging course - slow student so still working through it - if someone had told me any of this when I was younger Music wouldn’t have been a chore. Love it.
Short courses
I bought the Sample Orchestration/Template in a Weekend courses. Got a lot of useful and applicable information, especially about building big templates in Logic using Kontakt. My only complaint is that they're getting a little old and could use updates. Kontakt 7 has been out for almost a year, Opus replaced Play and Logic 10.7 has a lot of new features. Otherwise, these are great courses especially for the price.

Guy Michelmore is the master of online music tutoring
ThinkSpace is a great team of people who really understand music and importantly very much understand how it should be taught. Guy Michelmore is a fantastic composer and an equally great tutor, he knows how to get the most out of his guest tutors and how to explain complex theories so they are broken down and easy to understand. On top of all that, Guy just comes across as a really down to earth, fun and interesting person. I highly recommend ThinkSpace for any music or sound design related learning!
