I would strongly recommend thistribe to anyone who is wanting a friendly, helpful and fast service. I received my goods within a couple of days, exactly as described and perfect for my son who is going to Afghanistan next year, I would not hesitate to reorder, so if your pondering and wondering whether to order like I initially was please don't just order and you will not be disappointed.

I searched for a jacket on the web and came across ThisTribe.com. Unfortunately the item required was showing out of stock so I rang for further information. I was told that the item required should be back in stock within a week, it was and they contacted me to advise that it was. I placed an order and within a few days it arrived. An excellent and competitive service all round, including price and delivery. Well done ThisTribe

The speed of delivery and slickness of the website are the best out there, but the range of stock is quite limited compared to a lot of other places: not unreasonably, as they're a new outfit that have only started trading within the last six months or so I think. I get the impression, however that what they sell is better quality and more carefully chosen than other shops. A fair few articles on the site explain why they sell various bits and bobs and it all seems very reasonable.

The company is run by ex-Booties I hear, so in between nude pugilism and dressing as girls they may have put in the odd tour or two and know what is necessary. RVOps are similar and this is what makes the better military outfitters or surplus outlets. I would be happy to always order from here in future, it just depends if they have what I want!

I ordered some super sturdy storage bags from Tribe and thought the measurements were in mm but when a rather large jiffy bag arrived to what I thought would contain little bags, imagine my surpise they were near enough bin bag size! Anyway returned item received a full refund within 1 day, good service, my mistake entirely tho!

Was looking for a particular item (a Snugpak Sleeka jacket) and found it at a significantly lower price here. I wasn't 100% certain it would be exactly what I was looking for so asked for some advice and promptly received some suggestions that were helpful in making a decision. My impression is that the company are very knowledgeable about what they are selling and concerned to get things right. They also sell a good range of British-made products from companies such as Snugpak and Keela. Free delivery option was somewhat slower than Amazon's typical delivery time but that is understandable given ThisTribe isn't a monster-sized business!

Under armour yoke fit for purpose

I'm not in the Forces (middle aged Clinical Psychologist),and happened upon ThisTribe whilst browsing for useful kit for my son's CCF activities - sleeping bags ,cooking stoves etc.
I was immediately impressed by the philosophy and presentation of ThisTribe,and liked their emphasis on honestly selecting and testing the quality of their products,which will be used by men and women doing a properly difficult job.
I liked the reviews (and sensible pricing) so much I ordered a Snugpak Sleeka 'Duvet jacket ' for myself - for frosty early morning dog walks,and saving on the gas bill at home (until David Cameron brings the prices down that is?!).
My wife says I look like 'Percy the Park Keeper' in that Olive green version,but I love it and feel that I have invested in something authentic,tested and durable.
Also Great service from ThisTribe which matched their nicely designed website.The Snugpak was in the post and on my back in no time.
I wish I had a real reason to order a pair of their desert boots,and will be back for a Snugpak sleeping bag in due course.
I would thoroughly recommend ThisTribe for all the reasons above - they have a unique approach that stands out these days I feel.

The Keela Summit Advance Top is a good bit of kit that is comfortable and warm as a base layer - particularly under the Keela Belay Advance Jacket that I also purchased from This Tribe. Very satisfied! The service is exemplary.
