Slow Responses - Competitor is better

Moving to TH March from Highworth Insurance has been arduous. Was looking to get insurance on a watch which has been insured elsewhere previously, jumped through all of the hoops TH March provided and still it doesn't seem enough. Latest response from them is says I didn't show the watch when I got it valued at a high street brand which I did (I'm sure they wouldn't just value something they've not seen). Average email response takes 7 days... Not a good experience at all.

We are sorry to hear that you are having difficulties with the insurer’s requirements for an up to date valuation when insuring a watch. It is easy for us to say as brokers, seeing other customers’ claims going through so smoothly, how important it is that our customers get all their documentation sorted out correctly at the start. But trust us, and trust the feedback here, that it really does make all the difference if you are ever in the difficult situation where you need to make a claim.

We can see that you and our team have communicated back and forth by telephone and email multiple times regarding the insurance requirements for a number of weeks. We were sorry to hear that our explanations and support in you obtaining the necessary documentation were not satisfactory. This is not the experience of most of our customers, so we thank you for bringing to our attention that something has gone wrong on this occasion. All our colleagues are trained to explain the documentation requirements and we have created what we think are helpful guides but we are always looking at ways we can improve our service.

As regards any delayed responses, please also accept our sincere apologies. We are experiencing a high volume of emails and calls into our office but are trying hard to take steps to deal with this.

In the meantime, we are glad that you have continued your insurance with us currently and your watch remains covered.

Excellent service quick and friendly.
I lost the diamond from my ring. When I contacted T. H. March the phone was answered promptly, the member of staff was friendly and professional. The whole process of completing a claim form and getting the ring repaired was very efficient and straightforward.

Very impressed with ease of use with…

Very impressed with ease of use with the company, and when I did have to make a claim for my wedding ring which I stupidly lost, I was soon put at ease, after sending the forms they emailed and my valuation cert, that I would be covered. Jayde there also contacted the original jewellers I went to, to ask about the best price to get my replacement if I decided to go there for it, which I did for sentimental reasons at least, so it couldn’t have been easier and I highly recommend the company

Engagement ring repairs

My engagement ring needed to go back to the jewellers so that a couple of smaller diamonds could be replaced. I found the claims process with TH March to be super easy from start to finish, with TH March being easily contactable via email if I had any questions. Thank you for the A* service!
