Avoid Deposits

We paid the 'fully refundable' £100 deposit to reserve a car. We were unable to pursue the purchase but the deposit was not refunded.

Terrible after-sales service, Do not recommend

Purchased a Skoda Fabia from this dealership. After the drive home I discovered that it had no oil in the engine. After calling them to raise this issue they dismissed it and claimed there was oil but as it was recently replaced it would not be visible. I am experenced in working with cars and can tell the difference between clear oil and no oil so knew this was not true.

After some research I found out the car had a known defect where it was burning oil almost as fast as it was burning fuel. It was a manufacturing defect for this particular model Fabia, caused byb the piston rings being milled too large. Upon raising this with the garage they would do nothing to assist me and believed it was a non-issue. Despite it costing me over £60 for that month in keeping it topped up with oil.

After just over a month of owning the car, I ended up selling it on for another car at another dealership.

I therefore recomend you avoid this garage as once they have made the sale they will wash their hands of you.
