I’ve been playing league table tennis for over 50 years and had a good idea of what I needed. As I was unable to make contact with my previous supplier I thought I would try Thorntons. After a nice chat with Bill about our playing careers I placed my order and was amazed that it turned up, exactly as required 24 hours later. I had the sheet of rubber glued, cut and on my bat that day. Exactly the service I was hoping for. I will definitely use Thorntons again and can recommend them to anyone who may have doubts about ordering on line or by phone.

I had a fabulous experience with Thorntons. I'm new to table tennis and needed bats and accessories, but it's so confusing knowing what to buy. I rang Thorntons, and a lovely chap gave me all the info I needed as a beginner. Bats etc arrived in 2 working days. I'm very happy, thanks so much!

I'm afraid I've had an awful experience.
First table was damaged - chip out of the top surface
Second table was the wrong one.
Third table damaged again - crack on underside of the table
Fourth table would not fold properly up to vertical

I understand that Ransome Sporting Goods are the suppliers so I think in part are also in part responsible, but I ordered and paid through Thorntons.

I received £50 compensation and some free table tennis balls but this doesn't really make up for the inconvenience of having 4 incorrect tables delivered to our house and also 4 having to be collected.

Requested a full refund and will purchase now from another supplier

What a great little shop! I was thrilled to find this place that not only specializes in table tennis but also sells toys. The customer service was fantastic! We were worried the toys wouldn’t arrive on time, so emailed customer service and they responded right away! They reassured us and went out of their way to make sure everything got here before Christmas. The toys were exactly what we needed, and the delivery was spot on. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again. Highly recommend!
