Misleading listing
I ordered a couch here for a great sale price. On the website it said 4-6 weeks for delivery, but after purchasing someone immediately reached out and told me the updated time was 6-8 weeks. I just reached out today (week 6) and they told me the couch won’t even reach the US until week 9 and then still has to be processed at their facility and shipped (looking at 10-11 weeks). Sorry but no couch is worth waiting 11 weeks for. If it’s going to take 11 weeks put that in the listing. 11 weeks is a huge difference from 4-6, be transparent.

Ordered 4 Chairs months ago! Keep on getting fast responses which is great, but where are the chairs? Seems odd! “The chairs are being quality checked” haaaa. That takes 2 months. Give me a break. Last delivery date was third week in Feb, now…it’s third week in April! Something really off about this. So…careful! Perhaps in advance get a delivery date that is firm and no product cancel order!

do not trust this company. they are a scam. they only delivered me half my product (a sofa) then never got back to me about how to get the rest. after chasing up about it for 2.5 months i finally got a refund through my credit card. do not order from this. also, of what was delivered the quality and comfort was sub par.

This company is a fraud
This company is a fraud. I ordered two bar stools and after the order received notice that it would take six weeks to arrive. I continued with the order because I really wanted the stools. I received a notice today that it would be another six weeks. This time I canceled the order and reported them to the fraud dept. holding my credit card. I have never experienced anything like this. They had my payment since January. This is not acceptable and I do not want anyone else to experience this kind of service.
Don't expect to get your order in a timely manner
Place an order in middle of December with an expected delivery date of middle of February. Order kept getting delayed and reasoning was due to quality assurance issues. While offered 10% off the order, the delays continued until I finally decided to cancel the order. BE WARY of ordering from Thorvald. Products look great, but clearly this company is struggling with production and supply chain issues.

I ordered bar stools in January with an advertised delivery time of six weeks. It has now been over six weeks, and every time I reach out for an update, they push the timeline back by another week or two.
As of mid-March, I’m now being told the stools won’t arrive until April — far beyond what was promised at the time of purchase.
This is extremely misleading and feels like false advertising. If the real delivery timeline is months, that should be clearly stated upfront instead of giving customers unrealistic expectations.
Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this company.
No notice
I ordered two sets of chairs on Dec 4, with an first estimated delivery of Jan 15, but they didn't arrive until Jan 29. The delivery was pushed back multiple times without any prior notice; I had to email them every single time to get an update when they change delivery date.
Tbh what worried me was the possibility of this being a scam. So I looked this website to check bad reviews and reddit and it seems like some people didn’t get parts or their delivery as well. Many positive reviews are about costumer service, not actual product. Also It felt sketchy that they asked for a "good review" right when my order was confirmed, long before I even received the products.
While the delivery was being repeatedly pushed back without any prior notice, they apologized but same thing happened again and again. This behavior made me doubt if they would ever deliver at all. The chairs eventually arrived, the quality doesn't seem same with the photo, but they serve job so I’m over with. I will not be ordering from here again. Hope this help other people has same problem.
