We have more Trading Standards Reviews checked and accredited by local Borough Councils with The Buy With Confidence Scheme than all the Top 3 Best Rated Pest Control Companies in Dorset combined.

We were in the Top 3 Best Rated without being asked for permission or verified for a number of years before being removed.
I contacted 3 Best Rated and re applied as suggested only for that to be rebuffed.
3 Best Rated does not accurately represent the Top 3 most Professional, Qualified & Verified Companies at all which is unfortunate and extremely misguiding for potential customers who rely on integrity from such platforms.

It is impossible for the checks mentioned for accreditation with 3 Best Rated to be considered seriously when companies with a quarter of the trading years, half the qualifications and unverified reviews supposedly are the Best in area.

I have emailed my concerns and re applied so look forward to being enlightened as to how 3 Best Rated make their criteria for Top 3 Companies recommendations to an unsuspecting public.

They offered me a free listing which contained spelling errors, a dubious 60 point checklist, which I've went through with a fine tooth comb. We're a multi award winning digital marketing agency winners of 9 marketing awards in the past 6 consecutive years. The other 2 competitors in the top 3 are not even on same level as us. We've been trading for 9 years -According to their checklist I have no google maps which is nonsense. Their listing contained broken links, contacted them to rectify again as I'm still not happy with the alts they made. The 2 other biz's I've highlighted as not even my competitors for various reasons! I think much more transparency required from this company as to how they are comparing apples with pears. Despite me pointing out these irregularities inc my video we specialize in video they just simply removed it.. Amateurish if you ask me. Sent me an email to fix which I replied with clear and concise alts most of which they've simply ignored. I'm baffled as to the point of this company except for to request for donations..

Read the narrative below and weep. I simply don't understand ThreeBestRated’s (TBR’s) business model and quality control systems. If what's happened to my complaint is typical of how things go, then their badge on a website means very little. I won't be using it to guide my own searches for future contractors.
• In Feb 2018 I had a bad experience from a local firm -- an inadequate annual servicing check that led to repeated tripping of my domestic electrical system, which further turned out to be due to an unsafe installation they’d made years earlier – the engineer who came to investigate what my independent electrician had found wouldn’t listen to my argument and stormed off. The firm’s website displayed a 2017 TBR badge, so I sent details to TBR, who said they would forward my complaint to their review team.
• Two weeks later TBR wrote to me: “We have removed the business from our website based on your complaint and replaced with another best business”. I was pleased, but …
• Five weeks further on, I saw that the firm was still showing the TBR badge on their website, so I asked TBR whether this was in breach of their T’s and C’s. They said “Sure, we will email then to remove the badge.”
• A FULL YEAR LATER, it was still there, so I wrote again. TBR replied: “Sorry we can only recommend [removal]. We cannot enforce it.” I expressed considerable surprise at this, and …
• … TBR replied: “Here is the thing: we have given several notices to them to remove the badge. They are not responding properly. … We will take legal actions.”
• Earlier this month -- a year and a half later, and 2-3/4 years after my first contact with TBR -- I wrote to them again to say that the badge was still there, and had any legal action in fact been taken? The reply was: “Based on case #234561, we have forwarded the complaint to them. We are still looking at it and cannot know when it is going to resolve.”

So … may I suggest that anyone being positively influenced by the appearance of a TBR badge on a company’s website should AT THE VERY LEAST check on TBR’s site to see whether the company is still listed as one of the best three in the area.
