Highly Recommended Three.js Course

I began my journey with Three.js at a time when there were limited resources available, and finding a comprehensive guide or reference was quite challenging. However, I stumbled upon this course and didn't hesitate to enroll. It turned out to be an excellent decision! Bruno, the instructor, is a fantastic mentor who explains every lesson with expertise and clarity. Thanks to this course, I was able to secure a job in 3D Web Development. I definitely recommend it to anyone interested in learning Three.js.

The Best of All.

The best tutorial out there by far.
Everything so detailed and explained.
Bruno made sure to keep everything in one place when we are watching the video. Has a separate link tab to make it easy for us to go to links he mentions. The way he shows everything when he teaches amazing! Always a beautiful text as he explains. Drawing complicated things to make it even more understandable. Discord community is ultra active with Bruno aswell answering when he can . ( Almost all the time ). If you want actually learn Three.js without wondering around in "Tutorial Hell" this is da place.

It is a great course

It is a great course, it is relevant for both beginners and experts. Before Three.JS Journey it was really hard to find useful resources about Three.js. This course really helped me and my colleagues to learn a lot about Three.js.

Phenomenal resource

Phenomenal resource, generously priced, and often updated! The code-along approach to the course really helps the material sink in. I learned a huge amount Bruno during the Three Journey course and heartily recommend it to anyone interested in learning more about 3D rendering on the web.

I went into my learning journey skeptical

I went into my learning journey with Three.js very skeptical. I definitely did not have the money to waste on a course that did not deliver, however, I wanted to learn more than anything so I gave this course a chance. This course has proved to be a pivotal stepping stone in my journey. This course over delivered immensely. I learned more than I ever thought, and I also was able to RETAIN the knowledge and concepts, which is even more important. I could not recommend this course enough. If you are an amateur developer, or just looking to broaden your skills, this course is a must-buy, no exception.

This is great course and more

This is a great course. Three.js is covered thoroughly. Bruno Simon is an excellent teacher: encouraging, insightful and thoughtful.

He works hard to demystify not only Three.js, but modern application building (Vite), animation timing (GSAP), modular JavaScript, Blender (3D illustration), and React (web framework).

Not just for junior devs!

I wrote my first "Hello world!" back in 2006. I've been working full-time with frontend development since 2012, going on 11 years now. I've seen a lot different techniques and ideas from many people through my career and Bruno Simon gave a lot of new angles and ideas on stuff I've never encountered before.

I didn't only learn about Three.js and related techs, I also learned a lot about how to write my code better and how to think about what I want to develop and how to get there.

Three.js Journey is not just for someone curios about 3D stuff on the web, it is for anyone wanting a new perspective on frontend development. Try something new. Dive into someone elses' perspective in development.

10/10, would recommend this course for anyone, regardless of previous experience as long as you know the basics of modern frontend development.

Very practice-orientated

The course is very practice-orientated and founded of longtime personal and professional experience. It covers not only the main topics Three.js and R3F but also the peripheric tools around. So it's a complete package, that closes knowledge gaps. For me, for example, it was a great help to get an introduction to Webpack/Bundlers. Also the "ready to work" examples and lessens have been very useful to start from.
And of course it's fun, to listen to this french guy with the awful accent :-), sometimes during the month I was working with the course I had the impression he is living in my house.

Bruno my 3D hero

What a great course to follow if you want to do more with 3D. Bruno is a great tutor with good humor. His French accent in the English makes it extra funny!
You will learn everything with the library of THREE.js. But he will learn you more then that! Blender, JS, React and his drawings makes some difficult 3D aspects understandable. I recommend this course if you want to know more about 3D!

A satisfaying and much-needed journey

I started the course with limited notions of html/css and javascript (I am not a developer), but the lessons were really easy to follow nonetheless and Bruno takes the time to explain and guide you all the way through. The lessons are very interesting and the difficulty increases over time but it's really satisfaying. Thumbs up to the Blender portions of the course, I had so much fun with them!

This course is excellent for beginner…

This course is excellent for beginner level entry into threejs. There are some missing topics like render targets, stencil & depth buffer and layers. There are a couple lessons that are Blender focused which threw me off. The shader portion is very short. The patterns lesson is definitely nice but I think jumping from that to making a wave leaves out some key information. Id like to see a better shader section or even a separate shader course so he's not making context for free. I do want him to be paid for any additional work. This is just me but it would be nice if there was an overall project that you create through the course that's more of a portfolio or show off piece. The game you create is very very cool but I think a lot of people get into threejs to learn how to build awwards level sites.

Hello Rickey.
Thank you for this feedback. You were right about those topics that deserved a little more attention.
I have good news. I've added many many new lessons since then.
There are 13 new lessons about shaders, but also some lessons where we get to talk about RenderTargets, depth buffer and layers.
I hope you'll like them.
