I dealt with Thrifted only once; August 2022. I submitted my request and expected a response after 2 business days. 10 business days later, I have not received any responses. During the 10 business days I emailed Thrifted twice and also got no response.

I am writing this not to antagonise the company, but to warn potential stakeholders not to fall into the trap I have fallen into (basically 2 weeks’ wait without responses).

I emailed them 17 days ago with a list of furniture I wanted to sell on consignment. I also provided the names of the manufacturers, all high quality, since their website states they do not accept low end items. I received no response so I tried calling them. Every time I dialled their number, I got the message: “The user you are trying to reach is unavailable” following which the call was disconnected.

What an exceptionally good customer experience! I am so very happy for the sofa! True to description, quick delivery, outstanding customer support. thanks Anthony for going out of your way. Came across a Gumtree listing from them. Refused to confirm item condition because it was "boxed up" (um - their site claims to collect & provide professional photos, so why can't it be unboxed?) As soon as I asked for more detail they stopped responding. Looking at their site, it's INSANITY that the seller receives only 40% of the sale price - it's the seller's item! They get LESS THAN HALF? eBay gives the seller 90% - Facebook & Gumtree 100%. I've always been able to successfully sell on those sites so there's literally 0 value to this 'business.' Agree with previous review that this smells scammy. The poor communication, lack of detail & overall bad service make me give this 1 star.

I really liked buying from Thrifted. It's a great way to get used furniture and save some money. The collection process for one of the items I bought was quite simple although it would have been nice if my item had been located closer to the door and I didn't have to manoeuvre it around/over other furniture. I did appreciate that it was zero-contact though and felt very safe collecting my furniture. I then ordered a second item which I had delivered and although the communication around delivery could be improved by providing more regular updates on dispatch and delivery prediction, I was very pleased with the logistics partner and the delivery service which I received for a much larger item. I will definitely be looking at buying from Thrifted again and if they can improve those small aspects above, my review will be a 5 star.

Thrifted made it extremely quick and easy to sell my sofa for a great price. They were very professional and quick in the process and delivered everything as discussed. I would highly recommend using them to sell your furniture quickly without having to deal with the hassle of taking photos, posting in groups and dealing with potential buyers.

These guys deserve 5 stars for customer service and accurate description of item. I viewed & purchased a sofa from them and asked them to deliver it 6 weeks later as i was moving home. But due to the current COVID restrictions my new flat is still not finished for me to move into.
They have been very patient and understanding when my moving home date kept changing. I will definitely be A Returning Customer in the future and can Highly Recommend Thrifted Furniture for great quality Furniture at decent prices.

5 stars and Ronel, the manager was very helpful.

They collected my sofa to sell on and then claimed that it’s ‘not in a good enough condition’ (it’s in great condition for ref) and said they can’t offer it to a charity shop as they wouldn’t accept it, but they’re happy and confident enough they can sell it for £200. Funny that not even a charity shop would apparently accept it but some member of the public would happily buy it for £200. Seems very convenient for thrifted as if they sell for £200 we don’t get any commission. We also were in the process of donating the sofa to charity prior to giving it to thrifted so we know them claiming ‘charity won’t accept’ is a complete lie. Smells scammy to me.

Quick, informative responses from the very beginning. We arranged collection swiftly, and worked around my schedule. Throughout the process I was kept informed and I'm super happy with the result!
