Quick simple and helpful

I was worried that doing the blood test at home by myself might be difficult, but it was actually very easy, simple, and completely pain-free. I also received my detailed results much quicker than I expected.

Easy to use kits. Quick processing time and results. With a completed profile, I have found the doctors comments are helpfully personalised.

Super fast response. I received my results the day after taking and posting my test. The explanations for each result were well explained and helpful. It is a great way of keeping track of your health.

The results are probably well documented but the Doctors analysis and advice at the end is, at best, suitably vague and at worse just not appropriate if he/she were to read my profile.
It makes me feel that it is almost AI generated and not at all personal to me.

Really great experience using this service with fast results. Would recommend anyone looking to get info how their body is working!

Taking control of my health was vital. This helped me get to the bottom of a cholesterol issue and proactively try and manage it. I doubt I’d have spotted it.

It helped me compare surgery readings giving me chance to challenge some predictions I was not sure about

I’m really grateful for the freedom Thriva gives me to do blood tests easily at home. The auto-draw worked amazingly well and I could just pop it in a normal postbox. I had my results back the same evening just two days later, which felt incredibly quick and stress free.
What mattered most to me was feeling back in control of my own health. I’d been told by my GP that my symptoms were likely anxiety, but my Thriva results showed I had significantly low B12 and vitamin D. Trusting my gut and acting on those results has made a real difference, and since starting supplements my symptoms have reduced significantly.
It is expensive, but for me i was able to afford i5 and it’s been worth it. I’m thankfully able to continue testing every 6 months at present, and it gives me real peace of mind. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who wants clearer answers and more control over their health if they are able to afford it.

I decided to proceed with Thriva for a variety of blood tests this January, having used a competitor in January 2025. I researched the testing packages both companies offered, plus those that I have annually tested by the NHS due to a chronic health condition. I decided to go with Thrive as it offered the flexibility of adding or subtracting the test you wanted, following the initial quiz on their website. Each type of test also had good detail of what was being tested and what the tests revealed about your health. I took the website recommended tests, removed 3 and added 2. I didn't want to duplicate tests I already get on the NHS. The price was reasonable and I was able to use the first test discount. There was also an offer to receive 6 months of Vitamin D.
I emailed Thriva after placing the order asking them not to send me the Vitamin D as until I knew I was deficient from the test I ordered, I didn't know if I needed them. Thriva got back to me quickly and said it wasn't possible to halt the Vitamin D as it is automatically sent out following an order.
The kit arrived very quickly and the process to draw the blood sample was very quick. The auto draw device was simple and painless.
I mailed the sample the same day and within 2 days all the results were in the app. On reviewing the results I noted 2 tests I had not ordered had been done and 2 I had ordered had not. When I checked in the app, in 2 different tabs it showed what I had ordered and this matched what had been tested. I emailed Thriva to query this and they confirmed what the app was showing as the tests I had ordered. I did not screenshot the website order I made unfortunately as I am 100 % sure of what I ordered. I checked the list I had built several times, my partner checked it and I know I wouldn't have requested 2 tests as I am tested for these on the NHS so I didn't need to pay for them. I don't know if something went wrong with my website order but I would recommend taking a screenshot of your order I case of any discrepancies.
I like how the app is laid out and how you can connect to wearable to import some data across. At this time data that you manually impor6 you can't delete or edit. You can email Thriva though and they will reset values for you.
You are encouraged to give feedback in the app. The GP report is good and gives you advice about optimising your results. I did input my chronic health condition and the medication I am on and it appeared this had not been reviewed by the GP as advice was given that would not have been given if this was known.
I would recommend using Thriva but it seems to be a work in progress. I did communicate by email with Thriva several times and found them to be very responsive and polite.

I bought this as I wanted a cholesterol test as the wait at the GP surgery was quite long. The kit arrived quite quickly. The blood drawing device didn't work as well as those with other kits we have used so I requested a replacement. Despite doing so a couple of times it's not arrived. The cost doesn't feel commensurate to the experience which is a shame as I had high hopes and was planning to use Thriva for various things. I requested a refund which they quickly provided and I was grateful for.
