Terrible UI/UX, even worse customer service

The ThrivePass user web application was either designed bad on purpose, or they really don't care about good UI/UX because it is genuinely impossible to use.

If you manage to survive the terrible web app, good luck getting any replies or your issue resolved in a timely manner. Every email I've sent has had a turnaround of (6!!!) days and I have been consistently addressed with the wrong name in every communication despite opening and signing emails with my full legal name.

Additionally, I provided proof that my direct deposit information was registered on file (which I added upon creating my account 2.5 years ago) and pointed out they have an old address on file (which I also pointed out I am UNABLE to edit), yet they still mailed a check to my old address, completely disregarding both concerns. They did not consult me, they just announced that they will mail a check to my old (!!!) address.

Even if the situation is somehow rectified by a miracle, this has been a 1-star experience at best. Thankfully I don't have an HSA anymore and won't need to use ThrivePass once this gets resolved (if it every does).

This time went a lot better than last…

This time went a lot better than last time. It took years for me to find out from other that i could purchase something and get reimbursed. I was so thankful for that. this was the first time I did this by myself, so i was a little poky to find and do what i needed to for reimbursement. It is much clearer to get items from the sight.

Took over my COBRA from Optimum…

Took over my COBRA from Optimum Financial on 12/1/2025 and I still don’t have coverage on 01/13/2026!!! They won’t call me back or return my emails!! Horrible company that does not care about people that need insurance!! 4hours on hold with customer service! Nobody call you back! They don’t care about you!!! Almost 2 months without health insurance and they don’t care!! Told me there is problem with IT dept and getting COBRA set up! It’s been almost 2 months and hasn’t been resolved! They say to keep calling back but when I do, I can’t get an actual person to speak with and I am put on hold all day!!!!!! Awful company!!

Thrive Pass sucks

Horrible service. Horrible website. Months after the fact, they decided they needed a reciept for required lab work I had done. $800 Oakley sunglasses - fine. Lab work - we're suspending your card because we're stupid. I would rather lose my rollover than deal with these incompetant fools anymore.

Horrible Service

We recently moved from all-service TPA to ThrivePass. The onboarding process has been difficult and customer service is severely lacking. Reports don't make sense, and they make you feel like YOU are the problem. The worst thing about this is that they actually believe they are providing top service.

Please do your homework before considering ThrivePass.

Cannot provide a receipt of payment

This company is terrible! They cant even provide a simple receipt of a Cobra payment. Now that I paid over 5k, I want my money back. They refuse to give me my money back. I would not recommend doing business with this company.
