AVOID TOTAL HOME ROOFING

Prior owner installed roof with this company. It is still under warranty. Ridge vent shingles blew off in hurricane over a year ago & they won’t return my calls. Having to hire another roofer to fix their job still covered under warranty. Spent $750 to repair it. Super unprofessional of Total Home Roofing to not stand by their work that is 5 years old.

Total Home Roofing Sham company

Total Home Roofing put a new roof on our house in April 2023. After the recent Hurricane Debby, we noticed a new leak in our bathroom. I went through all of my roof paperwork from them and called one of the supervisors (Francisco) that helped with the job they had done. He told me to leave my address and he would contact the office after I told him that I wasn't able to reach anyone. I waited for someone to call me and nobody did. After a couple of days, I sent Francisco a text message and I have tried numerous times to contact this company and have not been able to reach anyone. Someone texted me from this company and wanted to know what I needed and then told me this company is no longer in business!!! Why would Francisco with THR even answer his phone and take my address if THR is no longer in business????? Very unprofessional business and I don't even know why they are still listed on the internet? Sounds like some shady dealings to me!

I had my roof replaced in September…

I had my roof replaced in September 2019 in January 2020 while standing in my back room I felt water under my feet I looked up and water was dripping all over that room. I called THroffing and they sent a tech out who spent 10 mins and said he chalked up an area and I should be leak-free. From that day on every time it rains my roof leaks from multiple new areas each time. After getting the run around for years I was told all my leaks were Not from my roof. They are from my AC ducts? Even though most of the areas leaking contain no ductwork at all. They said nothing they would do further and I am stuck with all the damage from water leaking has caused in my home due to this company's poor work ethic and ripping off its customers. My warranty is no good if the company standing behind it is unwilling to stand behind its lack of skills and poor workmanship. Someone needs to regulate companies such as this due to their underhanded business practices and lack of consciousness

ONE OF THE WORST ROOFING COMPY IVE EVER VOME ACCROSS. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS CROPPY..

I purchased the property back in May 2023, in the listing it mentioned that the roof was replaced back in 2020 by Total Home Roofing which played a major part in my decision. A few days after closing we had some rain and that is where we found out that the is leaking we were directed to contact Total Home Roofing to get the issue fixed under the warranty.

After a few numerous attempts they finally came and did some patch work which didn’t fix the problem. I requested to get a copy of the warranty paperwork and I was told they’ll send it over which didn’t happen. A few days later another leak was detected in another room at that point we realized the the roof was leaking before in the same spot which they came and worked on while the previous owners were occupying the property also there were mold all over. After a couple phone calls/emails they came and did some patch work as usual. This time the problem seems to be under control. I requested a copy of the warranty paperwork again still nothing. On 9/16/23 we detected another active leak in another room along with broken 2x4 woods and possibly another leak in another area so I sent out another email/call about it and as usual they showed no sense of urgency. With all this leaks and mold build up it is starting to become a health and safety concern for my family and they’ve shown no care. Again I requested a copy of the warranty paperwork as usual Nothing! On 9/26/23 we noticed 2 additional active leaks again. I sent an email and is yet to receive any communication from the company. How can it be that a roof that was replaced 3 years ago having so much issues if the job was done right? At this point I’m requesting a replacement of the roof. It is within my rights to obtain warranty paperwork on the work done on the roof as it is transferable. Don’t know what they’re trying to hide or cover up on the warranty but I’ll be reviewing it with whatever the previous owners have.

Horrible company to work with

Horrible company to work with. They did 6,000 worth of damage to the soffits, facia, and gutters to the house on top of coming in 5k over budget. They promised to show us before and after pictures of any wood they had to replace. They replaced 36 sheets of plywood, yet can't produce a single picture as to why they did it. They refuse to fix the damages they caused. They didn't clean up their mess when they were done. They couldn't even be bothered to run a magnet over the driveway so we got two flat tires from it. They have been completely unresponsive and unprofessional. They left the house in such bad condition my 85 year old father-in-law, who is in a wheelchair, couldn't even use his front door. And the crew leader "Joe" was just flat rude to my father-in-law. Any time a question was asked about why they weren't doing something the only response was "refer to #7 on your contract".

I had my flat roof done by Total Home…

I had my flat roof done by Total Home Roofing co. This was done about a year and a half ago. Besides doing a lousy job, not cleaning up after themselves they left all kind of debris and leftover supplies on my front lawn. I have a 7-year warranty I already had someone came about a year ago and fix a leak that I got already from the lousy work they have done. Now I have another leak in multiple places and remind you the whole roof was completely redone this was a flat roof. They sent somebody over after 3 weeks of trying to get somebody to come over here and this guy had every excuse in the world not to fix the leak under warranty. Trying to blame it on a small amount of debris from a tree that overhangs on the roof saying that that's causing the water to see through. Well that doesn't make any sense I know physics and they put a material down which is supposed to be waterproof so how can a small amount of debris have anything to do with water penetrating go figure. They are not going to do anything I may have to take them to court. Please don't use this company then that on us side it's all about them and how much money they can make.!

THEY NEVER FINISHED THE JOB!

Shingles installed Jan. 5th. They left without connecting any roof vents; they left a large debris pile in my yard, they’ve never called for a final inspection, and now I have a roof leak with ceiling damage. I’ve called numerous times and get only promises and no action. UPDATE: TODAY Feb 1 ERIC (Project Manager) CAME AND EXAMINED ALL THE ISSUES, WAS SYMPATHETIC AND GAVE ME A SCHEDULE WHEN THE ISSUES WILL BE RESOLVED. BRAVO!

Buyer be ware!

Do your research before contracting a roofing job with this company. They are now using sub contractors and the quality of work is at the sub basement level along with any type of customer satisfaction. I have been trying for over a month now to get someone out to take care of a punch list.

This is the best service I have ever experienced in South Florida!

This is the best service I have ever received. From the start of researching 4 different roofing companies to finally deciding on Total Home Roofing.
1 company with outstanding reviews never called me back after 3 tries.
2nd and 3rd company had higher costs for any replacement extras that may be needed. They had higher costs for the job. They offered less warranty time.
When Total Home offered a no money upfront (Who does that?); that was my reason for selecting them as I felt that they must be confident of their workmanship. Their price was lower and their way to doing business was outstanding with great follow-up and no surprises along the way. My roof was completed yesterday and passed inspection. One of their guys, Chris came personally to our house and collected our business check which I gladly turned over. He, at that time scheduled a paid for inspection yet to happen. He said that we would be contacted for sheduling.
We could not be happier that our rental house has a wonderful new roof.
You will not be disappointed with this company. What a pleasant surprise for South Florida, beats all other negative experiences we have had.
We give them maximum stars.

Total Home Roofing is TOP Notch.

Total Home Roofing replaced roofs on 5 buildings in our Tarpon Springs waterfront community. Andrew Capabianco made the process from start to finish smooth. They brought a 30 man crew and finished the roofs in a record 8 days. I have been a property manager and coordinator for 28 years and never experienced such a great experience on a large scale job. I highly recommend this company.
