Because we have been so pleased with our Kicker outboard I thought I would write a follow up review to my original posting of July last  year. Since purchase we have used the Kicker extensively. We are finding that we use it far more than we ever did with our previous heavy electric outboard. I think this is mainly because it is so light, making it very simple and easy to lift  on and off our tender. This makes it very easy to carry up the beach with the outboard attached. This is especially so for my wife and grandchildren. We now see the tender used for “excursions” much more than before.  I believe this is because it is so easy for everyone to use. I am still amazed at the thrust  the little ducted propeller delivers. Most of the time we find we are using the Kicker on the number 2 power setting which is more than adequate for most of our usage. Finally once again I have to commend this company on their outstanding customer service.

This small team provides great service on great products. We have used the thruster for 2 seasons and it performs as well as our epropulsion outboard but much lighter and easier to handle. Yes it has a much smaller battery, but charging onboard our sailboat is easy and quick and we are back to full capacity to reuse. I like this product so much I am quite passionate about it and show it to anyone who is willing to listen.

this light weight motor is a great fit for my 19' sailboat. We can carry it easily from the car to the boat. It has replaced the boat paddle. At a recent regatta when the wind died we towed another boat back to the dock.

I had a technical problem with a Thrustme Cruiser (motor for kayaks). He tried very hard to get the technical problem under control.

Bought the kicker to use as a dinghy tender. Only a short trip from shore to my mooring and this is the perfect choice for me. Its very easy to use, it's robust and it's ridiculously light. Only use it at max speed 3. Speed 1 matches my rowing speed so anything more us a plus.

The Thrustme Kicker proved to be the perfect outboard for my 2.5m inflatable tender. I can get about 4 trips from a full charge to my mooring which is over half a mile from shore. It also helps I can charge the engine using a 12v system.
