Great medals and lots of food and fun. I even had a beer. I have been to Game on and
watched my friend and it was okay but not as nice as this one, plus Game On gave
away some homemade wooden award that was so cheap looking. I will come to one of
these events, I think. The medals were very nice, and I loved the snacks and food.
People were talking and I was listening and everyone was happy.
I had a really good time with Thunder Bolt Multi Sport. The event was fun, well organized, and had a great atmosphere from start to finish. Everything felt smooth and put together well, which made the experience even better. You can tell a lot of effort went into making it a positive event for everyone. I would definitely participate again.
Did my first sprint duathlon on February 15th. The staff of Thunderbolt Multisports were so accommodating to me being my first duathlon. They answered all of questions and the sent me in the right direction. Very thrilled to place in my age group. The award medals were amazing. Food and drink at the after party were second to none. Great experience and will definitely do again.
WOW… That was my first Duathlon, and I could not believe the set up. When we drove in, I saw giant event flags on both sides of the road and then after parking and taking my bike to transition, it was so professionally run. I really felt good but also kind of important at the same time.
I had questions and the people running the event were wearing company shirts, so it made it easy for me to ask questions.
The course was well marked, and I always knew where I was going. When I ran across the Finish Line, I was greeted by a professional photographer and then I saw a real GONG that I got to hit with a mallet, and it was “so cool.” I guess instead of a PR bell, they set up a PR Gong, and I never saw anything like that before at the 5K & Half Marathons that I have done.
They had hot beans and rice, hot-dogs, Gatorade, and so many other things including beer. I had a banana and then a hot dog and some rice and beans that were yummy.
I ended up taking 2nd Place and the award medal I got for 2nd place was nice. A 3d type medal that I have never seen before and I also received a pretty cool Finisher Medal that was nice.
I wrote a big review, but I had a lot to say because I really had a good time and I never did this kind of event. Thank you is what I have to say to the people that put on this race and all the people running the event were so nice and helpful. I will be back to do other events that this company does for sure.
