Avoid at all cost!! My hard disk recently just crashed and so 'luckily' (or so I thought), I had backed up on Thunderdrive.io. No problem right? Wrong! All my files cannot be retrieved! You can't download anything!!!
Their website help function doesn't even work!!

Cannot access my lifetime account. Lost all files. Support email address no longer valid. Avoid!

If I could rate this a 0 I would. I paid for the lifetime membership and have lost my files. It says they are there but I can't download them or view them on line. This is terrible. There should be legal action against this predatory business.

I purchased Thunderdrive 2TB lifetime a few years ago.
I cannot retrieve a single file I uploaded and when I send an email asking for help, it comes back 'address unknown'.
Nobody answers the chat either.
It seems that this site was a scam which unfortunately I fell for.
Do NOT purchase Thunderdrive.

I was told that the desktop client would be released in 2 months when I purchased the lifetime plan, but 4-5 years are gone, and they even don't mention there will be a desktop client. Wasted the money.

I paid for the lifetime service, and uploaded over 9Gb of files (mostly photos) ... but when I try to preview or download, it fails every time.
I have seen other reviews where Thunderdrive says "please contact us with your email" ... well, I put my email into your chat bot, and I sent a message using your online form ... so you have heard from me.

I bought a lifetime cloud and I cannot even share to people who don't have thunderdrive. Why on earth would someone put stuff on the cloud if one cannot share it externally. This Apple-like tyranny has to stop.

Thunderdrive.io is pure scam.
I started by purchasing 2x 2Tb.
They didn't upgrade. Had to mailbomb them to receive what I paid for.
It started with uploaded files that never reached my drive. They never answered.
And now, I can't even retreive the stuff I uploaded years ago.
SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM
And they also kicked me out of their Facebook page for telling the thuth.

SCAM!!! Cannot use the drive after purchasing a lifetime 2TB storage plan.
Support no longer exists!

I had a lifetime plan with 2 terabytes of cloud storage about two years ago. Overnight, my credentials were no longer correct. I still had a valid session on another PC. I saw my data but could no longer download it. It was also not possible to delete it.

I sent several emails to the ThunderDrive team. Not one email was answered.

Now one can only hope that the data is at least deleted and not passed on.

So: Hands off from these scammers.

As many other users, I have a 4 TB lifetime plan but I'm not able to download my files.
Luckily, I bought this plan only for testing purposes and I use a reliable cloud storage provider instead.

Avoid this fake cloud storage provider.
They copied the content of WAZABI's website, just take a look on the security section.
make a search on google with this one: " employs advanced network security elements, including firewalls and other boundary protection devices to monitor and control communications at internal and external network borders. These border security devices segregate customers and regulate the flow of communications between networks to prevent unauthorized access" .
The result is impressive. The whole phrases are copied-pasted by wasabi.
The google returns also "prismedrive" that I think that is related to thunderdrive as they use the same commercial approaches (stacksocial etc) and also the same methods as thunderdrive.

It's up to you to make some searches and understand that this is a scam.

Absolute SCAM, can someone suggest a plan to claim against them?

It worked for a while. Long enough for me to upload a bunch of files and for them to get my money. Then it went belly up. I cannot access any of my files anymore. There is absolutely no response from customer support. Total scam. Stay away from them.

Does anyone know where Thunderdrive’s facilities are located? I am getting the same message and want to discuss it with them in-person. Thanks.

Uploaded files are unavailable. Got "Whoops, looks like something went wrong." on every download attempt

Same as everyone else. See folders but can't download any file I upload or uploaded in the past. Absolutely no support!

Since 10 Months I am unable to login into my account, I had taken 4TB lifetime space. Have send multiple Emails to their help desk / support team. Not reply what so ever.

If anyone has any solution to this kindly guide.

It worked for me for about a year. Now, I still can upload but I can not download any of my files. I can see the files are right there but it is not downloadable.
Fraud and scam at a next level.

I have Thunderdrive for some years now. Can't access my files since LAST YEAR (2021). I sent an email, sent a message through their platform and (tried to) started a conversation through their messaging system at their website. Nothing worked.
