I've had a great experience using it for the past 3 months. But today when I tried accessing my account, I couldn't.

The server down all the time. Could not upload anything for some occations. Their supports never help. Better asking and excuse, but not improvement.

This service is not real. It takes hours to load 1 page. I hope we can get our money back and see some legal resolution to the vial fraud that is thunderdrive based on the "service" they provide. When they put a message they will try to resolve your issue, it's not true. They privately emailed me random insults like asking if I'm disabled to not understand I'll never see my $ again.

I purchased this service last year, fulling understanding that it is supposedly a work in progress and that it might have some issues.

What I DIDN'T expect, is that after all this time I STILL am unable to upload files! This is legitimately the worst service I have ever used. Any service you pay for should have at least SOME functionality. I am disgusted beyond belief that I fell for this, as I work in IT and should know better.

I believe that while they claim to have allocated several terabytes of storage to each user, they don't actually have that much space. So I have been capped at 7.86 gigabytes, and am unable to upload anything further. This is a scam. I've tried several browsers on multiple computers. Do not fall for it. If these problems are not addressed within the next few days, I will pursue legal action.

This is a complete con job, be warned. They are taking peoples money, including mine, under false pretenses. I have contacted them through several emails, attempted to contact them through on line chat and have received no response. I have requested a refund, again no response, am now in the process of opening a PayPal dispute to try and get my money refunded.
According to their website, their road-map to having an Android and iPhone app available was Q3 2019. Still nothing. Many time I have tried to log into my account but their server could not be found, the web address would not resolve.
Any response from thunderdrive that does not contain an genuine apology and an undertaking for a full refund date of my money is only adding insult to injury.

Got a 2TB lifetime account and I've been trying to use it for a few days now.

I have a 500/500 connection (speedtest give me more like 560/900 Mbps) but the upload to Thunderdrive lies steady at 100 KBps.

With this speed it would take me 250 days of uninterrupted upload to fill my quota (if my math is correct). Pathetic.

It's all theoretical though, as many uploads seems to fail anyway. After a long time the upload seems to finish but there are no files to be seen when you look.

I queued eight files to upload over night, only three or four showed up when finished.

Sent an email to support but I don't expect any help really. I think they just don't have the capacity to handle the traffic.

Purchased a lifetime package. Their roadmap was Q3 2019, mobile apps. Q4 2019 desktop app. It is Q1 2020 now and my multiple online chats and emails to them regarding the failed deliverables have gone unanswered. I won't be surprised if this service shuts down without notice.

The website loads very slowly. It's almost unusable. Paging down to load more files triggers a reload that takes over two minutes. The user interface is crude.

How can exist service with A LOT OF PROBLEMS. TERRIBLE!!!!

Every time I try to access my account, my credentials are never found. It only works from the link that's been sent via Email. Something is not right in that area. Besides the huge memory space, the quality of this platform is rather disappointing. I hope for that to improve very soon.

Very slow , Spent all day uploading about 60G of data. It is no where to be found. According to Thunderdrive I've used 0 of my 2TB storage space. The price is inviting, but if you can't store data, it is useless. Will try to get resolution with the company support.

So I have the 2tb lifetime plan and I have to say, this is so slow it will force you to use other alternatives. I have ThunderDrive.io and other service and by far it is terribly slow to upload files despite having a 300mb upload and 600 mg download connection.

Save your money unless you want to age considerably at the same time it takes this to backup your files.

Extremely slow and usually only uploads some files out of a folder instead of all of them. This means I then have to manually reload the missing files and it's a pain. I wouldn't trust this service as your only cloud service, and why have a second one? Wouldn't purchase it again.

Update: Thunderdrive attempts to remove all negative reviews from Trustpilot. I have provided evidence of my purchase to Trustpilot, after Thunderdrive reported this review as "not being genuine" and tried to have it removed. Their attempt to remove reviews pointing out shortfalls in their product is an additional red flag. Do yourself a favor and do not purchase this.

UPDATE: After a week of trying to get ahold of folks through Thunderdrive, I have finally got a reset on my account (Thank you Ashley). I realize that it was the holidays and this likely contributed to the delay. Also, the initial reset went to my spam and while I attempted to use this link within 24 hours, it expired which also caused issues and added to my frustration. I will now upload my pictures and will further update my review after that and hopefully be able to give Thunderdrive 5 stars.

INITIAL REVIEW:
I purchased the 2TB lifetime package. I set up my account and last week attempted to go back into my account. I put in my password but it was repeatedly rejected. Since that time, I have requested it be reset 5 times. Only once did I get a link to reset it and that link didn't work. I am so so frustrated. There is no number to call and so we sit and wait to see if someone is going to get back to me. Looks like it was money down the drain.

Promised features in their roadmap have not eventuated. Suggestions and feedback that they have requested go without reply (or addressing the issues). This has the potential to be a good product, but has not evolved as promised. Sadly cant migrate all my data to Thunderdrive, I still maintain another paid monthly service, due to the fact that I cant be sure Thunderdrive will be around tomorrow.

Same issue as previous post. Super slow to upload. I got the 2tb lifetime license because it stated its one of the faster backup solutions. Pretty disappointed.

-Bad service.
-I did NOT receive the bonus for which I PAID.
-Darn waste of time and money. And more time. And more money. (since time is money). (PayPal and a reseller refunded me for 2 purchases: the main app/service and a bonus.)
-I cannot find the real existence of the company.
-Sarcastic/rude customer "service".
-They DO NOT HONOR REFUNDS.
I received refund after I fought for it for several days/weeks.
THEY DID NOT refund me. PayPal refunded me. So I'm really thankful to PayPal. Their customer service works well.

Two of my reviews here have been reported by ThunderDrive as being in violation of Truspilot guidelines. So I'm making this short now.

However, I would like to report to Trustpilot that a lot of the 5-star reviews here were created by FAKE REVIEWERS.

I believe those are in violation of Trustpilot guidelines.

Really, really painfully slow uploads. I have 500/500 fiber and have no problems to other servers. It's a real shame with a lifetime subscription and 2 TB space that i actually can't use for big files like a 1,5 gb movie and it says 3 hours left with my otherwise super stable 500 mbit upload. Tested just now: 3,5 hours to Thunderdrive for a 1,39 Gb file. Same file to Mega 1 min 45 sec. Fix the upload speed please.

I bought the 2TB Thundedrive product during Black Friday.

At redemption, I upgraded to their 4TB service.

Today, and weeks after purchasing the product, I am still waiting for them to increase storage despite numerous attempts to contact them. They have never responded to me. Not even on Trust Pilot.

Not only have I not received the upgrade, I am continually experiencing problems with their service:

So far:

Slow connections - it can take hours to upload even 100MB
Timing Out - you wait ages for a file to upload and then it just freezes and you have to start all over again
Limit on file size - I'm experiencing that their service cannot handle large file sizes. I haven't even attempted large files because it just isn't worth wasting the time for it to be timed out.

I am also quite concerned that instead of responding to my issues they have flagged my review. Not nice. I assure you, this review is not fake.

It is possible things may improve in the future. Howeve, I am not expecting a lot from them; I am deeply disappointed with their service.
