Scam website

Scam website. Avoid. Bought a smart ring. When it turned up it looked more like a washer from a set of taps. When I complained they just sent me another one which shows how little they are worth. Second one was just as bad. They look nothing like the website. You would never wear it out

Scammed me big time

Scammed me big time. AVOID!
I ordered this as seen on a review website which got me interested. I don’t like buying cheap products but this was £119 with free shipping. I got the product but it wasn’t working the way it was supposed to. I tried to restart it and it failed to connect to my phone properly.
Raised this with the company and they were terrible to deal with. Said I had to pay a lot of money to post it back to China (not where I got it delivered from…) packaging costs, high custom fees, insurances etc… Probably after all that, I’d have about £10 refund left after all that spending.
I then raised a dispute with my card company and it took ages to come to a decision. Eventually got my money back but the company just kept being so rude!
In short, AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

Cheap ring that’s £20 on Temu Thurgoo isn’t a brand

Ordered this ring thinking it was a Thurgoo product as it is advertised. It’s actually a £20 ring from china that you can buy in Temu and websites like this it’s an SRH ring cheap and nasty.
You cannot return this unless u pay shipping to china, customs costs and they charge you 15% of the ring cost on top.
Absolute scam site
Stay away !!!!

TOTAL SCAM SITE!!!!!

its a complete scam site, products are dodgy, I bought a digital picture frame which was just a very poor product, a micro sd card would not fit like they said it would.
I tried to return it, first you can only communicate via an email address. product ships from uk but they say you have to return to China with a long list of demands, and then they try to say if you keep the product they can offer a discount.
it's nothing but a scam site.

Thurgoo is a scam

Thurgoo is a scam. The product is a Q Ring, which you can purchase on Amazon for £20. Do not purchase from them. I made the mistake of purchasing a ring from them and when it arrived I notified them immediately that it did not work and I would like a refund. I request information on how to return the product and when my refund would be processed. This was two weeks ago and they have repeatedly refused to give me a refund or provide a return address. Their responses to emails are sporadic and do not provide help or assistance. Do not purchase from this company under any circumstances.

This is 100% a scam site.

This is 100% a scam site.

I rather stupidly purchased a AI voice recorder from the site on 7th August and after completing the purchase, I started to feel like something wasn't quite right.

I found this through a review site techlidar.org, (search for ai voice recorder techlidar to see the site). I even got a cheeky little discount, but this also turns out to be a scam site, so double fool me.

I attempted to cancel the order by sending an email and was greeted by an email response the next morning, stating that I was unable to cancel the order as all orders are despatched within 6 hours of purchase and also 'These glasses are very popular, versatile, and practical. You can learn more about their features after receiving them.'

Anyway, the AI voice recorder device (which was not a pair of glasses as stated in the last email), arrived 5 days later and it became quite apparent that it was a Chinese knock off of Plaud Note (which I have subsequently purchased since this whole sage started).

I then contacted the customer services team at Thurgoo (if that is what you can call them given the shameful responses and poor communication) to arrange a return and lets just say since then I have been lead on a merry little dance.

I requested the return address and 8 emails later I am told this:

---------------------------------

Hello.
Thank you for your information.
Our voice recorder offers unlimited free use of the AI transcription feature for the first year.
Starting in the second year, you'll receive 600 minutes of free transcription time per month, with no additional subscription required.
It also offers a wide range of features: AI transcription, summarization, translation, and mind mapping. It's definitely worth the price.
We recommend you keep it, and I can try to get a discount from your manager.
If you insist on returning the product, you'll need to follow these steps:
1. You will be responsible for returning the product to China and will be responsible for return shipping, customs duties, and a 15% refund processing fee.
2. If the product is damaged during the return process, no refund will be issued. Therefore, please purchase insurance for the package.
3. According to our return policy, the return address must be provided by us.
Due to the special nature of this product, you must send the return to our provided return address in China, not the address on our website. We only accept returns to our provided address in China. If you return the package to any other address, we will not be able to receive it, and all losses will be borne by the buyer.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

--------------------------------

Undoubtedly, if I returned the item to wherever in China they want me to send it, it would either 'never arrive' or 'arrive damaged' and I wouldn't see a penny of my money (not that I expect to get that back from Thurgoo anyway)

I am now in the process of reporting this as a scam to Barclaycard to get my money back.

The device by the way is an Airec Note AI voice recorder in case anyone wanted to Google that and check out some of the reviews. I recommend, if you actually need an AI voice recording/transcription device, that you pay the extra and go with the genuinely brilliant Plaud Note devices.

If you have purchased anything from this site, then I am sorry you may not get your money back unless you can claim via your bank or credit card company.

Avoid this site at all costs and don't get stung like I have been.
