Predatory practices

I accidentally booked tickets for the wrong month. Changing them to the correct dates would have cost more than buying new tickets, so I ended up purchasing new ones instead.

I understand your ticket change policies, but in cases of clear mistakes like this, I believe support should be more accommodating - either allowing the change free of charge or applying only a small administrative fee.

Avoid - they are scamming customers

I had a very frustrating experience with tickets.lt and would strongly advise others to avoid using their service.

We originally ordered flights for 19/04, but were incorrectly issued tickets for 19/07. When we queried this, another member of their team then told us our flight was actually booked for 19/09 — completely different again. The lack of consistency and clarity between their own staff was shocking and caused a lot of unnecessary stress.

When we requested that the booking be corrected to the date we actually selected, responses were slow and unhelpful. To make matters worse, they then tried to charge us an “admin fee” to fix what was clearly their own mistake.

Overall, the customer service was poor, communication was confusing, and accountability was non-existent. I would not trust this company with something as important as travel plans.

Avoid at all costs.

We understand how important this situation is for you, and we carefully reviewed the case once again. Our technical department checked the booking process step by step, and no error was identified on our side.

We have also sent a confirmation to the purchaser’s email address from our technical department showing that the tickets were selected for July 19.

In addition, we can see in the system that a request for a date/route change was submitted for the booking. However, the invoice for the requested changes was not paid within the required time limit, and for this reason the request was closed automatically.

If changes are still required, a new request can be submitted and it will be reviewed as quickly as possible. If a refund is preferred, a corresponding refund request may also be submitted through the personal account on our website so that the applicable refund conditions can be checked.

I encountered serious issues while…

I encountered serious issues while trying to add extra baggage to my booking. The links provided in the confirmation email did not work – they simply redirected me to the main homepage instead of the booking management section.

I tried calling the support center and selected the option to speak in Russian. However, instead of connecting me with a consultant, I was redirected to an online chat. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any chat window on the tickets.lt website – either it doesn't exist or it's extremely well hidden.

I'm very disappointed with the customer service. A simple task like adding baggage turned into a frustrating waste of time.

Everything worked smoothly

Everything worked smoothly. Ticket was received within 20min. Despite excessive charges for credit card payment, it was still very substantially cheaper than buying directly from the airline. I just hope that the tix will be valid when there'll time to travel :)

Flight cancelled, refund denied — had to win a chargeback to get my money back

I purchased a return trip through Tickets.lt in a single transaction. When the outbound flight was cancelled by the airline, I requested a full refund for the disrupted trip — only to be told my round-trip consisted of two separate, unrelated bookings, so they wouldn't refund the second half of it. (Worth noting: they issue two different PNRs under a single booking, so be aware of that when you purchase).

Clever trick — but it doesn't hold up under EU passenger rights regulations, which clearly protect the full journey when the outbound flight is cancelled. I tried to resolve this via their support, asking them to explain their reasoning in denying my request. Instead, I got 3 months of excuses and blatant disregard for the law. Eventually I ran out of patience and filed a Visa Chargeback with my bank — which I won, obviously, since if your company operates in the EU, it must follow EU laws.

If they are stalling you the same way they stalled me — don't waste your time. Be aware that Visa/Mastercard chargebacks have strict time limits, and their delays may cause you to miss that window. Don't accept half-measures, don't fall for their time-wasting tactics, and make sure you know your rights as a passenger.

I would not recommend using this service and will not be booking through them again.

They are scaming customers. It is written a possibility to change a date. But for real they will issue a new tickets for the price that are higher than to buy directly from airlines. Because they are charging service fees and changing fees, But the tickets are not changed, But issued a new one. A “date change” is not always a simple edit to the original ticket. Depending on the airline’s fare rules and the availability at the time of the request, the change may require reissuing the ticket. In such cases, the total cost is calculated based on the airline’s current fare for the new date and any applicable airline change conditions. This can result in a higher amount than the original purchase price, especially close to departure or when lower fare classes are no longer available.

In your case, when you submitted the change request, we calculated the change according to the available airline fares and issued an additional payment request for your booking. You reviewed the amount, confirmed it, and completed the payment. This means the change was processed only after your explicit agreement with the stated cost. On our side, the change was completed and an updated itinerary receipt was issued to you.

Regarding a refund of the original ticket amount: in this scenario it is not possible to refund the “old” ticket separately, because the additional payment represents the fare difference and conditions required by the airline to complete the change. However, if you would like, you may still submit a refund request, and it will be reviewed strictly according to the original ticket’s fare rules.

We understand how confusing this can be, and we regret that it did not meet your expectations. If the change has been successfully completed and your updated itinerary is correct, we would appreciate it if you could consider updating your review to reflect the outcome.

I used their services once

I used their services once. But NEVER again!

I bought tickets 48 hours before the flight. The money was charged, but it has not been refunded yet (even though I received an email saying that the purchase was not completed).

The second time, I bought the tickets again and received an email confirming that the payment was received, but I did not get the tickets. With only 12 hours left before the flight, customer support is suggesting that I wait a little longer until they “issue the tickets.”

So I don’t know whether I will fly or not.

If you enjoy taking risks in life, this company is perfect for you!

Unfortunately, at the moment we attempted to issue your tickets, we did not receive confirmation from the airline that seats were still available for the selected flight. In such cases, we are unable to finalize ticket issuance, and for this reason your booking had to be cancelled.

Regarding the payment: the funds were not captured by us. They were only temporarily blocked by your bank to verify your card’s availability and payment capability. As soon as it became clear that we could not issue the tickets, we released (unblocked) the amount on the same day. In most cases, the funds should already be visible on your account, but the exact timing depends on your bank’s processing rules.

If you still do not see the amount returned, we kindly recommend contacting your bank’s support team to confirm the status of the transaction. We have also emailed you a supporting document that you can provide to the bank so they can locate the transaction and advise you faster.

We sincerely apologize again for the inconvenience. If your issue is now resolved and the funds have been released back to your account, we would greatly appreciate it if you could update your review and rating accordingly. This helps other customers understand the final outcome and is very important to us.

Please don't buy this plane ticket. I had trouble checking in. I had to go to the ticket office 2 hours early to avoid fines, but it told me it was a different email address, and I had to pay the fine. Never again will I find this unreliable site.

Avoid this 3rd party plane tickets seller. I got myself flexible tickets, and then when I really needed to change them all my request were canceled and nobody have ever contacted me regarding to my problem, so they just took my money basically. Even if there was a clear fee for having a flexible ticket which I paid the ticket was not flexible at all.
In addition I was not offered to get a refund even If I did all I could from my side informing them all possible ways that I want to cancel the flight, that I can’t make it and I need other tickets. Their advertising is misleading and according to me it is a fraud. I was trying to get my money back through my bank but ofcorse these robbers won as that ticket was not refundable. I hate this company and I recommend never buy the tickets through them as there is nobody who would help even if you pay extra.

Everything would be ok if the fee for…

Update – they still haven’t refunded the ticket money, and they’ve completely stopped replying to emails on this matter. Communication has ended. They themselves advised me to fill out the refund form because flight time was changed more that 4 hours, and then they themselves wrote that the money would not be refunded...

And yes, they did return €3 for each previously purchased ticket, but in principle, they shouldn’t have charge that amount in the first place when buying tickets. Or this is their business model – charge 3€ from everyone, and only refund for those who noticed it?

UPDATE:
Only with Maestro card there is no additional fee for paying for tickets, all other payment methods is charged additionally 3€ per ticket, bought totally 8 tickets via your website

Everything would be ok if the fee for purchasing tickets wouldn't be so ridiculous..... just for purchase you pay extra....

anyway, one ticket was delayed by the airlines, the tickets.lt stuff helped me with refund (hopefully i will get it) procedure and the lady on the phone was really helpful.
