TIGO in Panama Central America at the…

TIGO in Panama Central America at the mall has probably been one of the worst experiences I ever had in my entire life. We get a ticket sit for an hour and 45 minutes. People that came in after us are getting r”waited on .
Why bother giving anybody a number if you’re gonna do this nonsense?

Omar and his coworkers were beyond…

Omar and his coworkers were beyond professional and courteous when I was totally upset with the lack of professionalism from Xfinity and Apple, who is supposed to be major companies. The faithful servant of this company really provided what I needed and went beyond the call of duty. I thanked them and made many many come to them and their business grow thank you the owner of this business. I don’t know your name, but God bless you and your family.

I hope this message finds you well

I am writing to express my deep frustration with the service I have been receiving from your company over the past several months.

Firstly, I have been charged for Mbits that I have never actually received. This has been a consistent issue that has not been addressed satisfactorily. Additionally, my internet connection has been unstable for quite some time now, causing significant inconvenience.

I have scheduled multiple appointments for technicians to come and resolve these issues. However, they have failed to show up on the promised dates and times, nor have I received any courtesy calls to inform me of any changes. When technicians have come, everything appeared to be functioning correctly, yet the same issues persist, and my cases have been closed without proper resolution.

Today, January 19th, 2025, I lost my connection again. I contacted customer service and requested to speak with a supervisor. After being placed on hold for 18 minutes, my call was disconnected without any follow-up.

It seems there are no consequences for your company regarding the lack of fulfillment of your contractual obligations or any form of compensation for the ongoing issues I have faced.

As a result of this continued poor service, I will be canceling my services later this week. I hope you take this feedback seriously and consider improving your customer service and technical support to prevent future customers from experiencing similar frustrations.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Zero stars

Zero stars. Constant service issues. Incompetent and inadequate support staff. Lengthy waits (10-15 days) for line repairs or malfunctioning hardware. Sever attitude problems and no bilingual staff anywhere in the country. Just try to have a phone here! I dare you!

Unpleasant experience until Ms Carol

I had paid double when I was in Peru, and contacted TIGO whatsapp to see how I could recover my $29.
The TIGO chat agent explained what I had done wrong; and furthermore directed me to claim my credit at any TIGO Panama store. As I was to be leaving tomorrow, 8th November 2024; I stopped by at the Albrook Mall TIGO outlet as per instructions. The staff who served me there insisted that there was no credit to my number. Even though I had showed him the instructions from TIGO WhatsApp chat and the acknowledgement of double payment. After wasting a useless hour trying to convince this person, I was given a service number to call. The staff on the phone did not speak any English, was very rude, and even hung up the phone on me. I finally resorted to whatsapp chat again, explaining that I was unable to call the service number as suggested. Fortunately, this time, I had a very professional and responsive lady called Carol, who sorted out my problem in no time. She even apologized for my really bad experiences with the staff at Albrook Mall, and with the call centre. I would really commend Ms Carol for her professional attitude. If I may suggest that you take note and use her as an example for others less caring and less assiduous in the performance of their duties. Ms Carol’s customer care attitude is first class.

Consistently Poor service from TIGO.

I am a residential customer in Clayton. the wifi has gone down 4 -5 times in some cases for almost 24 hours on weekends and weekdays with no warning.
i am changing my provider.

CS at Tigo Panama is HORRIBLE

Three times we went to Tigo to change our credit card for monthly billing, three times we were sent home being told 'everything is taken care of'. Three times nothing was done, our old card, now closed, was billed, we received cancelation notices.

Denied access to account - Installed their services in Bocas del…

Installed 3 Tigo services in Bocas del Toro, working well.
Tigo App worked well for few months..Kicked me out once I left Panama.
Inspite of hours of communication via WhatsApp (text only is all one can get) and repeated promisses of agents to get back to me, no one will and will not resolve the issue.
I pay for services every month but unable to manage my services on line, all access denied!!
This is 2023 - global movement of people..
But it appears that one has to stay constantly in Panama in order to be allowed access to own, paid services???
Seriously? Tigo fell asleep about 10 years ago?

Panama app not available in Apple Store

I am disappointed to discover that the Tigo Panama app is not available for download on the Apple Store.

It is frustrating that while apps from other operations can be found i.e. Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala.

As a Tigo customer, I believe it is important to have access to the app's features and services, especially in this digital era.

I hope that Tigo can rectify this issue soon and make the app available to all its customers in the Apple Store, regardless of their location or credit card location.
