glasses exist, they're pretty, but not great

i was bricking it that the glasses would never arrive, but they did, ten days after i ordered — so it seems this IS a legit company.

however, they don't feel like £100 glasses. the frame is very large and they slide all over the place (with an unnerving rattle sound) at the slightest movement of my head. they're not adjustable, and the metal is so stiff there is no hope of bending them to size. i'd say my head is on the larger side so i'm not sure who these are designed to fit.

i do think the aesthetic is lovely (emblematic oval) and i don't see this style anywhere else, so props for that. but i had to get some little clasp things to attach to the arms, to hold them to my head. it's slightly uncomfortable, but means i can wear the glasses without them falling off every time i move.

for this price point, tijn need to work on making them useable straight out the box. the arms are crazy long, very wide-set, curve away from the face, and don't hook behind the ears. i can't imagine it working for anyone.

Regarding the fit and frame adjustment: to ensure durability and maintain the shape during transit, we use high-quality metals that are intentionally more rigid. This helps prevent accidental breakage, especially under extreme temperature changes, where metal frames can become more prone to warping or bending.

That said, all our metal frames are gently adjustable to better suit your individual fit. You can carefully bend the temples (arms) inward or outward to improve grip and comfort. However, if you're unsure or concerned about doing this yourself, we recommend taking them to a local optical store — most are happy to assist with a quick adjustment and can ensure a perfect fit.

Invalid Tracking / No Customer Support

Invalid Tracking / No Customer Support

Order placed on May 15, 2025, for which $189 was successfully processed.

As of June 2, 2025, tracking indicates the package arrived in the U.S., but the tracking numbers provided are invalid on USPS, and I am unable to get accurate updates on the delivery status.

Attempts to resolve this via chatbot were unhelpful, and WhatsApp support line appears inactive, with messages indicating that they are not accepting calls.

This experience is extremely disappointing. I requested either:
1. Valid tracking information and confirmation of the delivery date, or
2. A full refund if the package could not be confirmed or delivered promptly.

Have not received a response or support of any kind.

Coolest glasses I own

I’ve had the Melisha’s for a few months at this point, and I love love love them!! The reason I gave 4 stars is because they’re prescription glasses, and, despite this, they came in a glasses slip case. I did not feel comfortable using it so I went to my local optical store and got a free sturdy case. Apart from that, the glasses are easily one of the best things I’ve brought!!

Not worth the risk

Glasses are not bad quality but the advertisement showed a completely different size. The ones that I received were way smaller than the ones in the ad.
Return is at your complete cost which makes it unworth the risk of buying. I ended with a hole of 70€ in my poket and glasses different from the ad.

Don’t order from this company. Fake tracking

Don’t order from this company, they are fraudsters. I received tracking info to a fake parcel in china. I never received my order and they are non responsive, just keep sending me fake tracking. If you’re looking for spectacles rather shop at Goggles4u. Avoid TIJN at all costs.

TIJN does not stand behind their product. No customer support.

Received glasses that we could not put lenses in due to the screws being ceased. Tijn stopped responding to emails and provided no support. I lost $70 due to their lack of care and customer support.

Do not trust them. Flawed product, return policy is a joke.

After placing my order, I had no shipping notice after 22 days. I tried to contact them via email and IG. After days they finally replied, it was clear they just forgot about my order. I had to give them my info all over again. They tried to blame me but turns out my info was all correct. They ran me around for a few days before finally shipping my order. Just to track it you have to create an account. I finally received them a month and a half after originally placing my order. Upon receiving them I discovered the vision of the lenses is flawed. They don't match glasses I bought from my doctor with the same prescription. To return you must enter a QR code, and the only code mine came with is a link to TikTok. They take forever to respond to make you miss the 30 day return window. They're running me around again because of the missing QR code. And to return you have to ship them back to China! The return policy is a farce as the process is a joke as shipping is more or the same as what you paid for the flawed product in the first place.

Avoid like the plague

I ordered 3 pairs of glasses

I ordered 3 pairs of glasses. The first pair came in unexpectedly earlier than the second pair the only problem is that I was missing my 3rd pair and they told me that the tracking number said that they had arrived. Of course it will say that because they only gave me 1 tracking number for my order and it was only tracking the second pair not the 2st or 3rd pair. Anyways I was a returning customer and I never had a problem before receiving my glasses. But I guess they just don't care because they stopped responding to my emails and they kept telling me to call my postal office and ask my neighbors if my package was there. It's an awful company and I wouldnt recommend ordering because who knows if you'll end up with an incomplete order.i ordered back in november and it's Jan 2025 still waiting for my darn glasses

Customer service is 100% AI

Ordered from them a couple of times with no issues and was happy but this last time the order took a really long time and when I inquired as to why it took so long the AI Couldn’t understand my question and just canceled my order. This tells me there’s really not a human element to this company. I will be using a different company in the future.

I've bought several pairs of glasses…

I've bought several pairs of glasses from TIJN with no problems, however my last pair of glasses arrived much too wide and despite sending them the requested evidential pictures, and several chaser emails they have stopped responding. Also beware, if you live in the UK you can't return any faulty items they will only offer you a part refund.
Update 27/02/2025 still no response reference faulty glasses!!!

Like it

It's really hard to buy suitable products online now but I don't think tij is good enough! The customer service responded promptly and answered my difficulties. Of course, glasses are good too. After understanding the situation, they sent me a new pair. I am quite satisfied. If I need to replace my glasses in the future, I will still consider theirs, which is highly recommended.

Tried to cancel order within 10 minutes after placing due to the bad reviews for prescription glasses. Was ignored for over a month, despite filing complaint through Paypal. Then, the glasses appeared at my house over a month after trying to cancel the order. Don't even want to bother with trying to return them. F*** this company

PERFECT FIT

I have been struggling to find glasses that both fit my style and fit my prescription perfectly. Many glasses have deformed frames due to lenses so it is hard for me to find glasses that are both good looking amd of good quality, which makes me very distressed. Until I recommended tijn glasses from my sister. It does appeal to me in terms of appearance but generally such beautiful glasses tend to not be able to support my lenses. I was happy to see that their official website offers prescription lenses. Hesitantly but not hopefully, I placed my order. When the glasses arrived, they exceeded my expectations in terms of fit and style. I wore them to a weekend brunch with friends and everyone noticed my new look. Even my fashion friends want to know where I got them from. TIJN has become my first choice for eyeglasses and trust me you won't regret buying their glasses!
