This app Is used by fast food chains in the Netherlands to commit fraud towards International tourists, that's how It works: as you might know, when you order drinks in the largest fast food chains, you are charged (often compulsory) a 1€ deposit, that you pay in card or cash, with the possibility to be given a receipt for redemption via Tikkie. I accepted and even thinked It could be a cool way to avoid use of plastics, even tough I was not Happy for not having my refund right away. But... As an Italian of course I ignored both the existence and the conditions of use of this app, which however can only be used if you have a Netherland bank account. So It was only at the moment I had to redeem the tickets for me and my Friends at the end of the trip that I found out that we could mot get the money back!! If we multiply Number of tourists that visit the Netherlands every year x AVG Number of meals in fast food chains x 1€, then we get the Total yearly amount of this fraud, probably in the order of millions. I Will not personally sue KFC or Burger King or Tikkie Simply because Is not convenient for an individual, but I see extremes for a class action here. European citiziens are not treated equally, this Is outrageus

Rubbish app, very cheap and nasty and poorly designed, that creates a payment request.
The ING payment request app is much better.
When you pay a Tikkie, it creates a transaction on your bank account which has NO LINK back to the request - apart from creditor name and account of course.
So if someone sends you multiple tikkies per week, for example for a regular sport, there is no way of reconciling payments - no proof that an individual tikkie has been paid. This leads to endless arguments.
Despite my best efforts to explain the problem to the dullards in their customer support, they simply cannot grasp the significance of this idiotic design failure.
