I’m not usually one to write reviews, but I felt I should share this feedback.
I first came across TileStyle Ballymount three years ago when I was looking for a kitchen for my new home. I was genuinely blown away by the showroom — the displays are stunning, the quality looks excellent and the range of styles is really impressive. I would absolutely have loved to buy my kitchen there.
Unfortunately, despite several attempts to engage with staff about designing a kitchen, I found the experience very disappointing. I repeatedly felt that I was interrupting rather than being welcomed. Staff seemed uninterested, and at times I found the interactions quite dismissive. In the end, I gave up and purchased my kitchen elsewhere — and I’ve never regretted that decision.
This week I returned, this time looking for ideas and products for our master bathroom. Again, the showroom was beautiful and full of inspiration, but sadly I experienced the same issue. I couldn’t get meaningful help, and I left feeling like more of a burden than a potential customer. As a result, I left without buying anything.
It’s such a pity, because the store itself and the product range are fantastic. I would happily have invested a significant budget there over the years if the customer service had matched the quality of the showroom. I’m not sure if the focus is more on large or trade projects, but as an individual customer ready to spend, I just never felt welcomed or supported.
I hope this feedback is taken on board, as the products and displays really do deserve a customer experience to match.

Undetected error by staff member cost me dearly

During the Tilestyle sale I purchased 12sq metres of tiles with accessories to tile an en-suite bathroom. I received a receipt on payment which I foolishly did not carefully examine. When the job was completed I noticed that there was a large quantity left over. I checked the receipt and found that I had been sold 22sq metres instead of 12. I did not expect to receive any consideration from Tilestyle but contacted them anyway. I was correct, and the response was tough luck its your own fault, but as a (laughable) "goodwill gesture" they offered me a discount off my next purchase. Caveat Emptor applies when dealing with this company, as other than with reference to adhesive you will not find "flexible" in their documentation. Proceed with caution.

Complete Renovations

September 2025

I have had an excellent experience dealing with Tilestyle, Ballymount.

Sales people were v helpful, (Hercules, Stephen) . It does help that I’m decisive. I ordered my new tiles on the Friday and I received them four days later. I have another bathroom to do and I will only go there. Great selection of bathroom furniture too all in their showrooms.

I borrowed a few tiles to bring home and I returned them a week later. Nothing was a problem. In fact I felt v confident leaving after making my choice of tile. It is such a big decision.

Poor Customer Service

I paid €50 for a sample tile. After driving 2 hours to return the tile to get a refund on a Saturday, the showroom expert would not accept the tile back as the warehouse is not open at the weekend.

Therefore, he expects me to drive 2 hours again on Monday to return a sample tile. Very poor customer service.

Horrible delivery experience and customer service

Horrible delivery experience. Live in a duplex apartment and the driver wanted to leave massive tiles in a shared parking lot which is no where near the bottom of my stairs entrance. He said he could not get the tiles onto the path and when I said he could keep them he magically managed to use his pallet lift to get on the path. Pure laziness and rudest experience ever, especially as I was 7 months pregnant and unable to carry the tiles. When I complained TileStyle said they'd give me a future discount and when I enquired they ignored my request. Absolutely disgraceful which is disappointing as the tiles are nice but much better customer experience with Deluxe Bathrooms and Tiling or Tile Merchant. Avoid!!

Greedy sales team, horrendous customer care. Went to TileStyle in January 2023 as…

Went to TileStyle in January 2023 as there was a sale on. Got talking to a salesman and picked our tiles. Explained to this so called experienced salesman that tiles would not be fitted until closer to Christmas or very early 2024. I'm not a tiler or builder so know nothing about any of it. What he failed to mention was the possibility of the adhesive and grout he sold me could 'go off'. My tiler arrived just before Christmas and advised that the adhesive could not be used as it had gone lumpy and had starting going hard in the bags that where stored in my weather tight sealed garage, wrapped and on pallets. All of which cost me over €1000 for the adhesive and grout only. No issue with the tiles. I flagged this issue with the tilestyle salesman who then obviously put me onto customer care (why would he care he has made his sale). Customer care took over 2 months to get back and when he did he said he was on holidays. In the mean time my tiler had to get on with the job so I had to bite the bullet and bought adhesive and grout elsewhere. When customer care finally got back to me they said their staff are well trained and wouldn have advised me to buy the adhesive knowing the job was so far from being started. The salesman also can't remember the conversation strangely enough. Of course he can't he was thinking of the big sale ONLY. He really should have advised me on the day to buy the tiles only and when the job was closer come back and get the adhesive but he didn't. A very simple thing to advise a customer but I think the bigger sale was more important.
Customer care could not reimburse me for the gone off adhesive or grout they could only offer a discounted price on more adhesive which is useless at this point as the job was done. If it didn't take them 2 months to get back maybe something better could have been done, but I still doubt that very much. Wouldnt step foot in d door ever again. No advice given on my order it was just sell sell sell and customer care took forever to get back. Enter with caution or in my case don't enter at all ever!!!

Tilestyle Ballymount - beware of buying from them

Our experience with Tilestyle Ballymount was among the worst we have ever encountered with an Irish company. After an initial meeting which was really positive and agreeing to order from them, they sent someone to quote on our bathroom fitting - no design was forthcoming, the costing made no sense, the contact staff were either sick or on holidays and they went silent for two months after taking our money and us literally chasing them, emailing and trying to get to speak with someone. There were problems with delivery, problems with some of the product elements they supplied and at every turn we encountered no support despite promises. We ended up using another fitter and being stuck with products which are simply unusable despite them being recommended by Tilestyle. Be extremely careful in dealing with them - if they don’t have it in their warehouse they claim an item is “bespoke” despite the fact there’s a problem with the product. Multiple promises of follow up which never happened and we have a trail of emails to testify to this. As a family business we were keen to work with them but never again

Very poor experience - avoid.

We renovated our house and spend a significant sum with Tilestlye. We used one of their tiles in a utility room which required a sealant to be applied. The tiles were so filthy that we couldnt clean the tile after the sealant was applied.
We had to take them up and replace with wooden flooring. Tilestyle did not want to know and accepted no responsibility for selling filthy tiles. Nothing was communicated at the time of purhcase yet they still refuse to do anything.
The after sale attitude was appalling.

Five Star Fintan

Just want to give all the stars to 'Five Star Fintan Farrelly'. In my dealings with him over the past month or so, he has gone above and beyond to make sure the right tiles arrived, the wrong tiles were returned and all with a smile. It's not the first time I've used Tile Style and it won't be the last. Give that man a raise!!

Delivery is a farce

Lovely products and sales people were nice.

However... warehouse people are not very friendly and you can wait a really long time there while they fetch your order. So I decided to get delivery on my big order, several thousand Euros. It was a complete farce.

They could not give a more precise delivery window than an entire day. So, I cleared my work schedule and waited around all day for them to call me as they said they would. They had texted the day before telling me they would give me an hour notice for delivery. I planned to then meet them on site. They never called, and then attempted delivery to an empty building site. They claim they called me but I have no missed calls and no voicemail, and was with my phone the entire time. Now they want to reschedule for next week, at which point I would get to wait around for them all day again. Forget it. I am going to go get it all myself. Utterly useless service.

Tiles look and feel great- just small…

Tiles look and feel great- just small problem in that boxes were soaking wet when collected (v. wet day)- As usual, under pressure so had to take- luckily no reason to return… overall happy with availability & price.

They don't bring the tiles into your house.

A very pleasant sales experience. I spent €1800 tiles were delivered promptly the next day. The delivery man refused point blank to bring them into my house. I had to leave them at the front door all day with an empty house. Not impressed.
