DO NOT BUY!! Not fit for purpose

DO NOT BUY - if i could give a no star review i would. These compression travel bags are a joke, awful, not useable at all. The bags handle very few items and do not compress much at all. i tried to use them but saw NO BENEFIT. Tried to return them but because i had opened the packages ( had to see if they were useable) was told I would have to pay shipping, back to Singapore, $350 USD. I threw the whole set in the trash .

Don’t buy from this company!

Don’t buy from this company. I received my bags and struggled to get the pump to work consistently. Called customer service and asked for another pump. Basically, I was told it was “user error” and to charge it longer. Still inconsistent. Sometimes it worked; sometimes it didn’t. This has been ongoing, starting a few months ago. I only got the pump to work ten times This is not feasible when traveling, so I abandoned using the bags. I have ordered a different pump at my expense, hoping it will fit the current bags.

When you first contacted us in March 2025, our Care Team began troubleshooting with you right away and requested a short video so we could verify the issue and arrange the appropriate resolution under warranty. This step is part of our standard process to help us quickly assess whether a replacement or other support is needed.

As we did not receive a follow-up response after our last message on 4 April 2025, we were unfortunately unable to complete the warranty review at that time.

For reference, the TILLIV Nano Pump is covered by a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase, which for this order ended on 3 February 2026.

We always stand behind our products and are committed to supporting customers when issues are brought to our attention within the warranty period and process. We’re sorry we were not able to bring this case to resolution at the time, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us continue improving both our products and customer experience.

Not worth the price. Very Expensive Lesson *Updated*

1/1/2026: Wish I could give less. Purchased a starter pack in April 2025. Took one train trip in July 2025 and a weekend trip in December 2025. Upon attempting to pack for a weekend trip, one of the bags lost compression within an hour. I emailed customer service and they told me that the 180-day warranty expired in October, and proceeded to explain that possible fibers in the zipper may cause air to leak. They sent a video to follow on how to rectify this. I followed the tips, but now I am stuck with one (medium) useless compression bag. The small works ok so far, and the large is too large for a carry-on or personal. I probably won't use them anymore, but even if I did, I don't think I will be able to trust their quality. Very expensive lesson.
01/23/2026: Customer service emailed me stating "While we understand that your warranty period has ended, we want to make this right for you.
As a one-time exception, we would like to send you a replacement Compak Medium at no cost and there is no need to return the original product to us."
I completed the form they asked me to on 1/20/2026 and the replacement arrived today 1/23/26. I will attempt to use at least my next 2 trips (Feb & March-April) and update this review on quality after then.

Leak during 1st use

Used the bags for 1 vacation. They seemed great, but one of the bags developed a leak.
So it was not usable for the trip home. Very expensive purchase and very disappointed

DO NOT BUY

Do not buy!! 1. the original box comes with 6 separate items to keep track of and almost no instructions. 2. You will fool around trying to make it work, but it won't maintain compression. 3. customer service takes several days to respond and then tells you that a material component you absolutely NEED to make these work is sold separately. 4. You must pay shipping if you want to return it. Conclusion: too many parts to keep track of, doesn't include the stuff you need to make it work (and also adds to the items you need to take with you) and bad customer service.

Each Nano Pump comes with printed instructions in the box, along with guides on the packaging and on our website. It also includes nozzle options so it can be used with other inflatables like air beds, floats, or toys. The Performance Kit you mentioned is an optional add-on for long-term maintenance, but the vacuum pack is designed to be ready to use straight out of the box. That said, we understand that finding the right information in the moment can still feel overwhelming, and we will continue to work on making that experience smoother.

We also hear your concern about response times. While we may not always be as quick as we'd like, our team is committed to supporting every customer and continually improving that experience.

Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service!

Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service!
They keep screwing be around even though I followed exact instructions on how to return and now I just read I’ll be responsible for return shipping to SINGAPORE!
What a pathetic company that can’t stand by their product which is heavy, bulky and impossible to open not to mention what could fit in the medium size??!!!
I’m so disappointed and nobody is getting back to me. I’m contacting the BBB today as they should be shut down.

Our vacuum packing solutions are designed to compress and organize bulkier items efficiently. Some resistance when first opening the zipper is normal, as we use a best-in-class airtight zipper built for durability and a secure seal. To ease this, hold the D-ring while sliding the zipper steadily. Once opened, apply TILLIV Zipper Gel or Lubricant Wipes along both sides, then slide the zipper open and close a few times to optimize performance. We also offer a range of sizes to match different packing needs.

Works Well

I got these for a recent trip. We usually end up packing way too much, but this time we fit everything into just two suitcases. It made getting around so much easier. At the end, we used the bags to pack up our dirty clothes and saved a lot of space.

Never using traditional packing cubes anymore!

Really impressed with the quality. The materials feel premium, and it holds up well after multiple uses. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design. These packs are a clear step above others I have used. You can feel the difference right away. The materials are structured, the zippers are secure, and everything compresses down smoothly. I have used them on three winter trips, including skiing in December and a trip to Iceland, and they performed really well. I am planning to use them again for our summer travels. They have become a go-to in our packing routine.

Ugh avoid this company

I will delete this review if I get my full refund, but this is not a US-based company, so they force you to pay for return shipping to SINGAPORE. This cost me $91 USD. They do not clearly state this on their website because of course they don’t. Now they are telling me that though they have received my return, it may take SIX WEEKS before someone can inspect it for a return. Nightmare experience. The product itself is heavy, adds bulk to your suitcase, and any space it saves you is taken up by the product. Even if I get a full refund, I’m still out $91 USD for the return, plus all the time this took.

Edit: their response below is absurd. Do not bury the fact that you must RETURN THE PRODUCT TO SINGAPORE IN THE FINE PRINT AND CALL IT PLAINLY STATED. This should be large and in red on every page of the order.

The zipper is horrible

The zipper is horrible. Almost impossible to open. Don’t waste your money. Lots of vacuum products on the market that are much better and you can open.

Resistance to opening on first-time zipper use is normal, as TILLIV vacuum packing solutions incorporate an airtight zipper for durability and a secure seal.

To open smoothly, hold the D-ring with one hand and slide the zipper open with the other. Pull steadily, and once fully open, apply TILLIV Zipper Gel and Zipper Lubricant Wipes to each side of the zipper. Slide it open and close five times for optimal performance. I'm holding out hope for the moment

I'm holding out hope that I can change this review to be more positive if things change. As of today 2/10/25 the website is down. I received an email this morning from "support" asking for more information about my purchase. I wrote to the support email from the original order confirmation asking if it was a legitimate request and I haven't heard anything. No shipping information has been sent several days since I placed the order. Hoping for good news but the website being down isn't a good look.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service! My package was to arrive in 7-10 days, it took OVER 2 months! And that’s with me constantly checking in on my shipment, and writing to them with my concern. I even paid extra for shipping INS!! Finally it did arrive after my Vacation. They did not even offer me anything to apologize, or some money back or discount. When asked about refund I would have had to pay for the shipping back! Honestly extremely over priced, with bad customer system. Look elsewhere.

Refund request violation

I’m very disappointed that they offer only 15 days to try out their products.

How can you possibly do that when you’re traveling for the holidays.

Or perhaps you’re giving us as a gift and you’re waiting for feedback from the person you gave it to

furthermore my air pump didn’t work properly And still regardless of these situations they told me that I had a refund request a violation and refused to take back the product or replace the pump.

Be very, very sure you want this before you buy it because they are very difficult to work If you’re unhappy in anyway

Ordered the starter pack in December…

Ordered the starter pack in December and got notification that is was delivered on Dec 27th, the bad news was I did not receive the package so I emailed customer support only to have them tell me that I needed to follow up with USPS which I did and they (USPS) told me that it was put in my mailbox, I am not sure what the size of the package was but I have a hard time thinking that it would fit in my mailbox. Either way some emails were exchanged with Tilliv and still no resolution except them telling me it would be several weeks before they had an answer. Since I had paid the 2.99 shipping insurance you would think I would be protected but wrong just a way for them to add 3 dollars to every order. I was not going to wait for a resolution and for sure I was annoyed they made me do all the legwork for them so I called my CC company and disputed the charge. I do not know if the product works as advertised but if their customer service is any indication on how it will work then I am glade I am done with them. Based on this interaction I would not recommend this company to anyone. You can google vacuum bags for travel and other companies come up.
2/4/2025 took you guys about 1 month to reply which shows your customer service stinks. Interesting how you charge for shipping and insurance and all it takes is for you to say the package was delivered and you wash your hands of any issues. I followed your instructions and got in contact with USPS and they tried to help but could not figure out what happened. Since you were of no help and tried to take my money without me getting the product I reached out to my cc company to dispute the charge and they stood behind me. You guys could have come out of this looking like you care about your customer instead you look like a company run ass backwards. Thanks for nothing

Saved So Much Luggage Space!

Perfect for puffer jackets!

Took it for a winter trip, helps a lot in saving space, especially for puffer jackets! The process is super easy—just pack up your winter gear, seal the bag, and use the pump to suck out all the air. The bags shrink down to a fraction of their original size.
