Placed an order 9/24/2024 and per tracking, it's been in "label created" status for over 3 weeks now. It's fine they don't want to ship it, but when it came to getting a refund, the support rep I spoke to said they had to contact FedEx and open a claim. What does that have to do with me? I never received my product. It was never shipped or delivered. Shouldn't I get my money back regardless of what FedEx says? I've shopped through Tilly's for years and this will be the last time
Customer Service and Shipping Issues
I just bought some new balances from Tillys and they have yet to be shipped!! I also had an issue where they charge my card multiple times due to shipping and billing address being different.. the site is very confusing when it comes to this as another customer mentioned previously. I would recommend not ordering from them at all.. All the negative reviews are correct! Will not order from them again!!

No one writes reviews when things go smoothly. Take this and all of the other bad reviews here as a neon sign to not order anything from this store. You will save yourself a headache and stress over the fact that you will not be able to edit any order, return anything without paying shipping, they will somehow not receive your return as if it went to the Bermuda Triangle and you will waste time and energy trying, pleading and being disconnected by the customer service agents who cannot help you at all. Read the rest of these reviews because I concur. DONT DO IT!!!

Complete and utter incompetence! My son places a $300 order for school clothes noticing the address somehow was incorrect he immediately called to make the correction. His original profile address is in FL HOW DID THE ADDRESS FINDER AUTO CORRECT TO RHODE ISLAND! Been on the phone for 2 weeks and they have been willing to do nothing! Talked to fedex they said only the shipper can stop delivery they did nothing. I wouldn’t buy from this company again if they were the last company available on earth! Buyer Beware‼️
Beware of ‘priority processing’
Beware, they tack on a ‘priority processing’ of about $10. They contend you have to manually select it, but who would opt for this? They told me it doesn’t expedite shipping; it only gives you a priority in processing the order, whatever that means. Nice product, shady marketing practices. I won’t be buying from them again and urge consumers to use caution if they decide to buy from them.
Terrible Support
Bad service did not let me change my shipping address. After 10 minutes of placing order i was not able to cancel it as it was “too late to cancel the order” which is terrible to not offer a cancellation after such a short time.

Tilly’s is one of the store that does not have specials for back to school on their backpacks. I find that very upsetting, since they know the students go back to school in a week.
Stores like this one should have sales for back to school and stop being so greedy with students.
Unfortunately they do not price match but only their online prices. It’s sickening.

The first pair of shoes I ordered were the wrong color. The second pair had a freaking security magnet in the shoe!
Warehouse loses returns
I purchased 2 pairs of shoes, and ended up returning both pairs as they did not fit. I received a refund for 1 item as customer service claimed the package only had 1 set of shoes. The investigation took over 1 month and it's been very frustrating as I don't have the shoes nor the $80 I spent on them. How does the warehouse lose returns? Do not shop here!
FRAUD: Withdraw money without sending a product
I ordered a product online and paid for the product and shipping. But I didn't get a purchase confirmation e-mail from Tillys. My credit card was charged. I contacted the customer service, but they were not helpful. According to the customer service, my order didn't go through. But they never mention refund money. I requested a refund, but they continued to ask me for information and a receipt, even though I submitted twice by the time I requested a refund.

I was really touched by Tilly Sveaas customer service. I brought my first necklace from them and the chain was getting a little bit tangled up so I sent them an email, they very kindly offered me a replacement or a full refund. I was most impressed by this seeing as most other companies are so unhelpful when there is a problem. In the end I decided to keep my original necklace. But wanted to share my positive experience. It’s nice to know you are valued as a new customer. Thanks guys.
Terrible service, missing package, and no customer service
First off, the terrible service I recieved in store to make an online order of a tshirt they didnt have in my size was already bad enough. But now im told told by fedex that the package was delivered and after checking, nothing. Then I get a text message from Tillys 3hrs later saying the package was delivered so I checked again, and still, NOTHING. What is going on here!?
Now i call customer service during their posted hours of operation and I get an answering machine saying their office is closed and to call back during regular business hours.
I wish I saw there reviews sooner and I wouldnt have risked ordering from them.
Orders not shipping from Tillys
My item hasn’t shipped and it was ordered five days ago. I called customer service and they told me that there was nothing they can do. They don’t know when it will ship and they can’t cancel it. I had to overnight the same product from somewhere else in order to get it in time for my daughter’s camp. Outside of my calling, there has been zero communication. Reading other reviews this seems like a common theme.
Cancelled order with no explanation or communication
I placed an order and received a confirmation email. But I saw that it hadn’t been processed or shipped in over a week. So I finally called and they said they cancelled the order with no communication or reason as to why they did that. Super frustrating as I needed a certain piece by a certain date and now even if I order elsewhere it’ll be too late. Will never be buying from Tilly’s again
Website Lies, Multiple Incompetent CSRs
Despite that the website states they ship to APO addresses, I can assure you this is a well-documented lie. Two shipments (one original, one re-ship) addressed to an APO were returned to Tilly's by FedEx as "undeliverable as addressed." One Tilly's CSR completely ignored my question asking what measures were being taken to avoid more delivery snafus. Another CSR assured the re-shipped package would be "delivered as addressed" but not before completely throwing FedEx under the bus. On explaining this to a third CSR on the phone, she said they do not ship to APOs. I corrected her and asked to speak to a manager. The (now FOURTH) manager-level CSR offered to send my shipment to my home address which I confirmed, and when I agreed (because now I have no choice but to ship this to the APO myself) and requested it be overnighted, she said "We can't overnight this to an APO address." I had to remind her that my home address is not an APO. This has been going on for almost a month and to say this is unacceptable is a gross understatement.
Do not buy from Tilly’s
Do not buy from Tilly’s! These people sold me defective shoes and refused to refund me. I called customer support n it was horrible. The manager Eric is an ignorant little boy who refused to get on the phone when I asked, I wasn’t given any help, instead I was just told that since I put them on my feet I can’t return them. Don’t ever buy from these people I am filing a complaint with higher officials over this.
Disaster
Placed an order initially and there was a problem with the shipping address and I had called next day to figure that out. Then, that is "resolved" and it is supposed to be shipped out the next day and that never happened. Then soon enough, that order was terminated. Never order from them, they are a nightmare to deal with. Save yourself the time and order from anywhere else!
